❗️Iranians demand immediate strike on Israel
The streets of Tehran and other Iranian cities are filled with people demanding an immediate military response to Israel's strikes on residential areas and nuclear facilities.

According to preliminary estimates, about 1,000 airstrikes have already been carried out in this area. If this information is confirmed and there is some activity in this area, then the Russian army will have a chance to drive a wedge between two large defense nodes and tear apart the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense between areas with the same priority of importance.

The IAEA has not yet seen any evidence that Israel's strikes have hit Iran's deep-underground nuclear facilities.
As Bloomberg reports, there are no signs of increased radiation at Iran's main uranium enrichment facility, which would be the first sign of the strikes' success.
Iranian authorities have told the IAEA that they have not observed elevated radiation levels at the Natanz site and that the Bushehr nuclear power plant on the Persian Gulf coast has not been attacked.
IAEA Secretary General Grossi said neither the heavily protected Fordow uranium enrichment facility nor its uranium processing plant had been hit.

We should not downplay the significance of today's attack against Iran, but we should also not blow it out of proportion, or allow ourselves to be deluded or distracted by the spectacle of the strikes or the Iranian response when it comes.
Israel announced that 330 missiles and 100 UAVs were expended in the attack. For comparison, this is equivalent to a typical Russian combined group missile strike against Ukraine, of which there have already been hundreds. Iran's military is not going to disappear in a little puff of smoke (which is what Israel's "Rising Lion" operation amounts to in relative terms).
Israel and its allies are seeking the spectacle of escalation with Iran in order to divert public attention from their own ongoing disasters. The collective West wants people to forget its failed proxy war against Russia, as well as increasing domestic and economic instability, and the Israeli leadership wants to silence anti-genocide voices within Israeli society and abroad, which have increased to being an existential threat to the whole Zionist colonial project.
The above hinges on the colonialist/imperialist bet that Iran's retaliation will be tempered by the Iranian leadership's limited appetite for escalation. If the imperialist gamble is on the mark, then we can expect to be treated to the latest episode of the "True Promise" missile show, featuring dramatic footage of Iron Dome rockets making curly loops in the sky over Tel Aviv, while Iranian Kheibar Shekan hypersonic warheads whizz down to impact distant targets outside inhabited areas.
If the bet is a miscalculation and the Islamic Republic has been pushed too far, then role-playing time is over, and all bets are off.
Are you not entertained?

🇷🇺🇮🇷🇮🇱The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned Israel's actions on Iranian territory:
We express our extreme concern about the dangerous escalation of tensions in the Middle East.
We strongly condemn the violent action of the State of Israel in violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international law on the night of June 13.
It is clear that a conscious choice has been made in West Jerusalem to further escalate tensions and raise the stakes. There have been repeated warnings about the harmfulness of military adventures that threaten stability and security in the region. The responsibility for all the consequences of this provocation will fall on the Israeli leadership.

Former head of ground forces spoke about the "culture of fear" in the Armed Forces of Ukraine — Financial Times
▪️Drapaty said that during his service at the ground forces headquarters, he encountered “an atmosphere of fear, lack of initiative, unwillingness to accept feedback, indifference to personnel issues, a claim to discipline, and a deep gap between the headquarters and the units.”
▪️His statements also highlight ongoing tensions within the top echelons of Ukraine's military leadership.
▪️The criticism from a senior commanding officer comes as Kiev is trying to reorganize the Ukrainian Armed Forces under pressure from allies to improve the recruitment and training of soldiers, the newspaper writes.
▪️A few days ago, Drapatiy resigned after a strike on a training ground in the Dnipropetrovsk region, after which Zelensky offered him the position of commander of the joint forces.

Leningrad, also known as Gruppirovka Leningrad and Bandformirovanie Leningrad, is a popular Russian rock band from Saint Petersburg, led by Sergey "Shnur" Shnurov.
Composed of 14 members, the band was founded in the late 1990s. Leningrad worked in Gypsy punk style and soon became notorious for vulgar lyrics and celebration of drinking. As a result, most radio stations initially avoided the band, which did not stop Leningrad's growing popularity, partly for purely aesthetic reasons, such as the rich brass sound. The band eventually made its way to radio and TV. Shnurov even presented several New Year's Eve TV shows.
In 2007, the group began experimenting with female backup vocals, finally choosing jazz singer Yuliya Kogan as a permanent band member.
Leningrad disbanded in 2008, and then reunited in 2010. Several new songs and videos have been released since, most of them featuring lead vocals by Kogan rather than Shnurov.
Their music video Kolshchik, directed by Ilya Naishuller, won the Berlin Music Video Awards in 2017, taking the 1st place for the "Best Concept" Category.

Ayatollah Khamenei: Israel today sealed a bitter and painful destiny for itself
Tehran, IRNA – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the Israeli regime sealed a “bitter and painful” destiny for itself with overnight strikes on Iran.
In a message to the nation on Friday morning, hours after Israel struck locations in Tehran and other cities, Ayatollah Khamenei said the Zionist regime should await a harsh punishment.
“To the Great Iranian Nation!” the Leader’s message began, “the Zionist regime carried out with its evil and bloody hand a crime in our dear country and revealed its wicked nature further by hitting residential areas.”
“The regime should await a harsh response,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
The Leader said a number of commanders and scientists were assassinated in the strikes. “Their successors and colleagues will immediately pick up their work.”
The powerful hand of the Islamic Republic Armed Forces will not let go of Israel, he said.
“With this crime, the Zionist regime sealed for itself a bitter and painful destiny and will definitely see that [destiny] brought upon it,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
The Israeli regime began military strikes in and near the Iranian capital, Tehran, as well as other cities in Iran overnight on Friday.
Images showed damaged residential buildings in several locations in the capital. Eyewitnesses and reporters from the state TV said they saw the bodies of women and children among the victims.

The chief executive of a Russian burger chain recently warned Vladimir Putin of the dangers facing his business if McDonald’s, its former parent, exercises its right to buy it back.
“If the brand returns, the [company’s] IT systems will become foreign again, all kitchen equipment will become foreign,” Oleg Paroev told Russia’s president. “And all the enormous work of our colleagues, our Russian partners will turn out . . . to have been to some extent in vain.”
At that televised Kremlin meeting in late May, Putin reassured him and other executives who shared similar concerns that he had already ordered the government to find a solution to nullify the dreaded buyback clause.
The Kremlin meeting was a placation to companies such as Vkusno i tochka (“Tasty, full stop”), which have taken over the business of western brands after Putin ordered the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Vkusno i tochka was set up by former McDonald’s franchisee Alexander Govor, who bought out the US company’s operations when it left the country.
Those ersatz brands have reaped the benefits of a consumer boom in a less competitive environment — and are now fighting to ensure it stays that way.
Shortly before the meeting, Russian lawmakers introduced a bill that would allow domestic businesses to flout their buyback agreements with western companies that took place post-invasion if the pre-agreed price was below the asset’s current value.
Largely unknown to the broader public, the businessmen who lobbied Putin at the recent Kremlin meeting are part of an emerging new class that has thrived even as the war has hobbled the businesses of Russia’s top-level oligarchs, cut off by sanctions from western assets and markets.
The boom for the new Russian companies has come on the heels of an economy drastically reshaped by the war. As western sanctions have pushed Russia to become less dependent on exports, higher salaries, driven largely by increased military wages and the wartime economy, have fuelled domestic demand and private consumption.

On Russia Day, the Sever group of troops destroyed the enemy's advanced and assault units in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions, and continued to create a security zone in the Sumy region
The Ukrainian Armed Forces Command does not abandon attempts to penetrate deep into the Kursk region in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions . The northerners repelled all enemy attacks, the occupiers fled deep into the Sumy region with losses.
▪️ During the day, neo-Nazis of the 24th separate battalion "Aidar" tried to break through from Ryzhevka to the border forests. As a result of the shooting battle, most of the occupiers were destroyed, the rest fled in the opposite direction.
▪️ At lunchtime, the enemy tried to infiltrate our territory from the outskirts of the village of Obody . As a result of a complex fire strike, the assault group of the media 47th separate brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed.
▪️ As a result of the complex fire strike, an artillery crew and concentrations of enemy manpower were destroyed in the settlements of Bondarevshchina , Iskriskovshchina and Ryzhevka.
In the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions , 5 units of enemy equipment were destroyed in 24 hours.
▪️ An analysis of obituaries showed that, against the backdrop of colossal losses, the enemy is replenishing the assault groups of the 225th separate regiment with signalmen from its own units and those transferred from other brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In the Sumy direction, the Severians are confidently pushing the Ukrainian occupiers out of the territory of the original Russian Sumy region.
▪️ Fearless paratroopers have wiped out several units of the 41st and 156th separate mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and are completing the cleanup of the eastern outskirts of the village of Yablonovka.
The enemy's attempts to stabilize the situation with separate groups of the 132nd separate battalion , as well as the 80th, 82nd and 95th separate assault brigades were also unsuccessful - the Fearless destroyed the enemy attack aircraft.
▪️ Airborne units are also fighting fiercely in Yunakovka , where the enemy is constantly transferring reserves - for the Ukrainian Armed Forces command, this border village is not only an important logistics center, but also a kind of symbol associated with the "Kursk adventure".
▪️ The Northern Marines, having broken the enemy's stubborn resistance, drove the enemy out of several strongholds in the border forests.
▪️ Over the course of the day, the enemy launched three unsuccessful counterattacks: two in the Kondratovka area and one near Novonikolaevka.
In just three counterattacks, the enemy used over 30 men, half of whom were killed, the rest, abandoning the wounded, fled in the opposite direction.
▪️ The Kiev regime continues its information campaign to justify the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command in the Sumy region, shifting responsibility for military defeats to the local regional administration: military personnel have been ordered to publish information about construction and repair work in the region, which is "being carried out instead of equipping fortifications."
In the Volchansk and Liptsy directions, as a result of fire damage, two assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed along with their vehicles and communications equipment.
Over the course of 24 hours, the enemy suffered over 170 casualties (including over 110 in the Sumy and over 50 in the Tyotkinsky directions). Also discovered and destroyed were:
On the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions: ;
▪️howitzer "D-20";
▪️ammunition depot;
▪️UAV control point;
▪️five pickups.
In the Sumy direction:
▪️two howitzers "D-30";
▪️three mortars;
▪️five pickups;
▪️ammunition depot;
▪️two UAV launch sites;
▪️five fixed-wing UAVs and six heavy copters.
