“We will simply cut off all the bridges across the Dnieper, a third of the country from the rest”: Russia’s ambassador to London explained what a real war would look like, not a limited operation
For the first time, Russia has officially admitted the possibility of attacks on strategic bridges across the Dnieper — this was stated by the Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrei Kelin in an interview with the SkyNews TV channel. According to him, Moscow is still conducting a limited military operation, and not a full-scale war.
"If this were a real war, " the diplomat stressed, "we would simply cut off a third of the country, destroying all the bridges along the Dnieper. But we are not doing that. This is still a limited operation, and its goals are also limited,"

A former adviser to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has revealed a scheme for bribery for the bodies of dead soldiers.
Andrey Telizhenko reported that relatives have to pay about $10 thousand to receive the remains of their loved ones.
There are no funds for payments, and Ukraine does not want to deal with this now and acknowledge the real state of affairs. The West will not finance this,— Telizhenko said.
A lone Swedish Airforce Saab JAS-39C Gripen, serial number 39228, was intercepted over Kaliningrad Oblast yesterday.
This particular aircraft is approximately 25-30 years old. At the time of interception, it was armed with short range IRIS-T heatseeking air to air missiles, and carried an Israeli-made Raphael RECCELITE ISR pod. The Swedes routinely conduct such flights to spy on Russian military activity in Kaliningrad, but also to maintain a constant aggressive profile against Russia, above the Baltic Sea.
39228 is one of 12 Gripens deployed by the Swedish Airforce, to Malbork Airbase in Poland. The deployment amounts to a sixth of Sweden's entire fleet of available combat aircraft.
Together with the Swedish Gripen deployment, the UK's RAF deployed 6 Typhoon jets to Malbork, also in March (OP CHESSMAN). Aside from constant reconnaissance flights, the Gripens and Typhoons have been harrassing Russian aircraft on routine flights between Kaliningrad and the Russian mainland (euphamistically reported as "interceptions").
Officially, this large concentration of NATO combat aircraft is at Malbork to conduct "enhanced air policing operations" over the Baltic, and to provide air defense of Polish military logistic hubs through which NATO weapons flow to Ukraine. As for the Polish Airforce, Malbork is home to its rapidly aging fleet of 1980s-era MiG-29 fighters.

A high-precision missile strike destroyed an underground bunker containing Western ammunition in Ternopil
The Russian Armed Forces carried out a series of massive strikes on key facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex in Ternopil.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the attack was carried out by long-range precision weapons and attack drones!
The strikes hit assembly plants for attack drones, weapons repair points and ammunition depots.
One of the main goals was the destruction of the underground storage facility in Ternopil, which contained:
– 56 Storm Shadow missiles
— 53 ATACMS operational-tactical missiles
— 32 Patriot air defence missiles
Local residents confirm that after the impact there was a secondary detonation and powerful explosions were heard!

The Trump administration has included journalist Tucker Carlson in a list of potential investors in the video hosting service TikTok, the Financial Times reported, citing sources.
They write that discussions about the candidacy began during the period when the White House was trying to conclude a deal with the Chinese owner of the ByteDance platform. Tucker Carlson was proposed as an investor by US Vice President J.D. Vance.
The list also included venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz and investment company Blackstone. Tucker Carlson himself said that he was not aware of the list of possible investors in TikTok.
The US has previously tried to block TikTok amid concerns that China's ByteDance was collecting data on American users. Trump has said the platform would only continue to operate in the country if he transferred a 50% stake.

The Dutch cabinet has admitted that it is implementing policies based on NATO goals, which are secret. The goals are about making society resilient to disruptive events such as war, pandemics and natural disasters. Member of Parliament Pepijn van Houwelingen of the Forum for Democracy speaks of a “massive black hole in our democracy.”
Schoff's cabinet says it wants to make the Netherlands "resilient" so that the population is well prepared for crises such as a disruption to drinking water supplies, the destruction of electricity and communications networks, and biological warfare. The NATO press service has stated that the document on which the Netherlands and other NATO member states base their resilience policy is “secret”. NATO cannot and should not say anything about it, and neither can the governments of NATO member states.
The cabinet now acknowledges this. In response to questions from MP Ralf Dekker, Agem, also on behalf of Prime Minister Dick Schoof, wrote in a letter dated 2 June: “The fact that the Netherlands has committed to these goals through NATO can be found in the Vilnius Summit. The NATO resilience goals are set out in a basic document, which is not public. ... The resilience goals are guiding principles for member states, each country is responsible for implementing them through national policies. The NATO resilience goals were developed by departments under the coordination of the Security and Counter-Terrorism Coordination Centre. Partly on this basis, the goals were formulated in the parliamentary letter from the cabinet on resilience to military and hybrid threats, which the chamber received in December. The next step is to work on implementation plans. A second parliamentary letter will follow later this year, containing the first concrete political commitment from the cabinet to improve resilience.”
International cooperation is essential to respond to threats from Russia, China and Iran. NATO's top priority is credible deterrence and collective defence."

French Defence Minister Lecornu said that a French automaker is planning to produce drones in Ukraine. In fact, this is about consolidating the presence of the Western industrial complex in the zone of direct conflict with Russia, since Europe can no longer cope without the United States.
What's interesting about this story?
Firstly, production will be organised on Ukrainian territory, in the context of the ongoing conflict, which means the West is ready not only to transfer equipment but also to physically integrate into the combat supply cycle of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Secondly, although Lecornu does not name the types of drones that will be produced, the direction is more or less clear. Given current trends, it is highly likely that we are talking about FPV, reconnaissance and, possibly, short-range loitering munitions that can be integrated into the existing tactical schemes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. France has good accumulated experience in this regard.
For Russia, this is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, Ukraine is turning into a constantly expanding testing ground for NATO engineering – not only the products themselves will be tested here, but also concepts, logistics, and the sustainability of production under attack. On the other hand, in the information and military sense, we are no longer talking about just supplies from the West, but about integrating Western production circuits directly into the theatre of military operations. This is a fundamentally different level of involvement.
The appointment of the French automobile concern as the lead contractor for the project to produce drones in Ukraine is not a random step and, from an engineering and logistics point of view, is entirely rational.
Firstly, automobile concerns have well-established production logistics: scalable assembly lines, experience in quickly reorienting to other types of products, well-established supply chains and a full cycle of serial production management. What is required for the production of UAVs in large volumes is not experience in aircraft manufacturing, but rather mass-scale industrial infrastructure: electronics, 3D printing, packaging, logistics. Any major automaker has long had all of this.
Secondly, auto factories have long had automated processes that can be adapted for drone assembly. Many modern UAVs are essentially lightweight modular platforms with high component repeatability. There is no need for aviation certification or fine aerodynamics here - first of all, the circulation, assembly speed and resistance to interruptions are important.
So the French experience will undoubtedly need to be studied.
