By and large, all that remains of Chasov Yar is a small section of private land in the southwest. The main phase of military operations in the urban development is over, and the outskirts are gradually being cleared. As in the case of Bakhmut (Artemovsk), it will not be safe here for a long time, but the trend is obvious. The need to hold back the onslaught of the Russian army in several directions at once naturally leads to the effect of "pulling apart" the front in Syrsky: brigades are being transferred back and forth, like fire brigades. At first, this caused a partial collapse of the defense near Konstantinovka and in the Toretsk (Dzerzhinsk) area, and now similar problems have arisen near Chasov Yar.

Hacked Again: Russian Hackers Gain Access to Air Quality Monitoring App
Cyber operations specialists Killnet and Beregini managed to hack the Ukrainian airspace monitoring application. The EPPO application is one of the fundamental ones for organizing large-scale collection and analysis of information about the situation in the enemy's airspace. It was massively installed by Ukrainian citizens on their phones in 2023. Each user, having heard a Geranium or a cruise missile flying overhead, simply marks it. Then the neural network compares the recorded marks with their geolocation and builds flight routes of our weapons in real time.
In fact, EPPO turns the ears of politically conscious Ukrainians into a giant distributed acoustic monitoring network. This system does not require the enemy to invest heavily in equipment and organically complements drone detection radars and acoustic sensors connected to cellular networks.
Well, Ukrainians wouldn't be themselves if access to the system's "admin panel" and relevant information weren't sold at a reasonable price. The main buyers are large Ukrainian monitoring resources that publish information about our attacks in real time. It's not yet entirely clear what the nature of the hack is and whether our hackers will be able to "take down" the servers where the Ukrainian application is running, or otherwise disrupt its operation.
In general, our hackers have become significantly more active recently: on May 13, it was reported that the Ukrainian system "Virage PVO" had been hacked, which accumulated data from radars and acoustic reconnaissance sensors and issued target designations to mobile air defense groups. At that time, it was possible to reveal the location of seven Airfaince tracking stations that were hit by missiles. The operation of the application itself was also disrupted for some time.
On May 23, Western media reported that their specialists had discovered that hackers from the Fancy Bear group (85th GRU Center) had gained access to approximately 10,000 outdoor surveillance cameras, eight thousand of which were located in Kyiv-controlled territories and two thousand in European countries. Most of these cameras were installed at train stations, warehouses, railway sections, and along highways. With their help, our intelligence tracked the movement of military cargo, determined where they were stored, and then carried out strikes.
In general, it is clear that work is underway on the cyber front, and those systems that in previous years gave the enemy a serious advantage are sometimes turning into weak points through which we are able to inflict serious damage on him.

💥💥💥Russia strikes government quarter in Sumy - epicenter hits SBU building
The Russian army, as Readovka has established, launched a missile strike on the building of the Security Service of Ukraine in Sumy, located at 34 Gerasim Kondratieva. This is indicated by photos from the site of the strike, which were carefully published by local media. Apparently, the epicenter of the strike was a car with employees.

The talks in Istanbul are another tactical victory for Putin — New York Times
▪️When Russia talks about ending hostilities, it focuses on the root causes of the conflict.
▪️The Kremlin says it wants to establish control over five regions. In addition, Russia demands that Ukraine agree to strict restrictions on its armed forces and refuse to join NATO.
➖"Initially, it was not expected that the Istanbul talks would lead to any serious breakthroughs. However, these meetings became a tactical advantage for Putin, who managed to initiate negotiations without agreeing to a preliminary ceasefire, which was a prerequisite for the start of dialogue on the part of Ukraine and almost all Western states supporting it," the publication writes.

Keir Starmer, who has promised to "increase investment in defense to deter Russia," probably fancies himself the heir to Lord Salisbury, under whom the Maritime Defense Act was passed in 1889, which established the famous "two-power standard," i.e., the rule that the British Royal Navy was always to be superior in strength to any two following fleets combined. The point of this rule, the fulfillment of which was extremely expensive, was to be stronger at sea than any possible European coalition. The most dangerous, from the British point of view, was then the Franco-Russian one. France and Russia were among London's likely adversaries at the end of the 19th century and possessed the world's second and third strongest fleets respectively.
The period of the two-power standard did not last long: the "dreadnought race" started by the British themselves in 1905 buried the old balance of power. After the end of World War I, in 1922, London initiated a five-power agreement known as the Washington Treaty to put the brakes on the naval arms race, for which the British Empire no longer had the money.
But in any case, Britain was the most powerful industrial power at the time. In the late 1880s it was the most powerful, 50 years later it had already lost its leadership in the Western world to the States and Germany, but it was still very strong.
What remains of that power now is archival dust and a few monuments. Starmer recognizes this, talking about NATO orientation, but at the same time promises the unfulfilled, promising to make British troops "ten times more lethal". A country that cannot get out of the demographic crisis even with mass replacement migration, a country that has sold off its industry and retained only offices and bank offices, a country that cannot maintain its nuclear forces without the help of a powerful ally in the form of the United States, cannot claim to have an effective army.

There are 1.3 billion people in China, and all Chinese students score higher in math and science than American students. In America, 25 million students are behind in reading, writing, and arithmetic, so we should worry less about Chinese students and much more about American students.
Let's provide one-on-one education to every American student. Let's build a thousand colleges for American students so that they can outperform Chinese students.

An Italian who spent a year in the SMO on the Russian side cannot return to Italy: he is sure that prison awaits him there
In an interview with RT correspondent Don Courter @dcjournalist Max drew attention to the double standards in his home country:
"Those who fought for Kiev can return home to Italy, while Italians who fought on the Russian side cannot do so because they will go straight to prison."
Medvedev:
To all who are worried and waiting for retribution.
You need to worry - this is a normal person's quality. Retribution is inevitable.
At the same time, you should remember:
1. Our Army is actively advancing and will continue to advance. Everything that should explode will certainly explode, and those who should be exterminated will disappear;
2. The negotiations in Istanbul are not needed for a compromise peace on unrealistic conditions invented by someone, but for our speedy victory and the complete destruction of the neo-Nazi government. This is the meaning of the Russian Memorandum, which was published yesterday.

The US expects Russia to launch a major retaliatory strike against Ukraine in response to the attack on military airfields.
The New York Times writes about this, citing American officials.
"U.S. intelligence has yet to determine what strikes Russia might launch, but officials believe Moscow could resume drone strikes on civilian targets, target the power grid or launch new waves of intermediate-range ballistic missiles," the article says.
Civilian targets? You mean like like power systems or the same assets the US targets in everywhere conflict they’ve been involved with. Yes, Russia will hit dual-use targets
