Brazilian merc down!
Gabriel Ferreira Silva from Ipojuca, Pernambuco, Brazil
Gabriel, a shooting instructor, thought that his superpowers could be advantageous in this context because Brazilian recruiters and propagandists portray the war in Ukraine as a big playground.
He fought as part of the 47th Brigade and was destroyed in Belgorod region by the North Group with four other Colombians in another one of this well-known brigade's suicide missions on May 18, 2025.
Let's remember that recently the commander Oleksandr Shyrshyn of 47th Brigade submitted a resignation report due to the “idiotic tasks” of the command. He complained about unacceptable tasks, loss of personnel, and criticized the actions of the command.

After defeated invasion of Afghanistan former British military man turned journalist is angry about losing again
One hundred and twenty days later, and with no end to the war realistically in sight, the president held a private two-hour long phone call with Putin, in a further attempt to bring the Russian dictator finally to heel.
This time, instead of threats to further bank-roll Kiev, Trump appealed to the businessman inside Putin, offering promises of “unlimited potential” of a post-conflict Russian trading relationship with the rest of the world.
Whilst understandable that Trump – himself liking to imagine he is the world’s best deal-maker – attempts to address Putin both as an equal and as a businessman, the Russian president is of course neither.

Brazil is an 'assembly line' for RUSSIAN SPIES — claims NY Times
For years, a New York Times investigation found, Russia used Brazil as a launchpad for its most elite intelligence officers, known as illegals. In an audacious and far-reaching operation, the spies shed their Russian pasts. They started businesses, made friends and had love affairs — events that, over many years, became the building blocks of entirely new identities.
Major Russian spy operations have been uncovered in the past, including in the United States in 2010. This was different. The goal was not to spy on Brazil, but to become Brazilian. Once cloaked in credible back stories, they would set off for the United States, Europe or the Middle East and begin working in earnest.
The Russians essentially turned Brazil into an assembly line for deep-cover operatives like Mr. Shmyrev.
One started a jewelry business. Another was a blond, blue-eyed model. A third was admitted into an American university. There was a Brazilian researcher who landed work in Norway, and a married couple who eventually went to Portugal.
Mr. Shmyrev had a return ticket dated Feb. 2, 2023. So the agents obtained arrest warrants and search orders for his addresses. When Mr. Shmyrev landed on Brazilian soil, they would be ready.
But he never came back.

FPV Drone Crew Takes Out T-64 Tank in Kharkov Region
Servicemen from the reconnaissance unit of the "West" group identified a camouflaged T-64 tank belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces using a UAV in a forested area of the Kharkov region. After relaying the tank's position to command, a covert operation was initiated to position the strike team close to the front line. At the opportune moment, the FPV drone operator executed a precise strike on the enemy tank.
Real-time objective control footage captured the moment of impact, showing the destruction of the tank and resulting ammo detonation. This successful engagement highlights the effectiveness of modern technology and coordinated military efforts in the ongoing Special Operation.

Servicemen of 9th Motorised Rifle Brigade (Tsentr Group of Forces) liberate Novoaleksandrovka in Donetsk People's Republic
After engaging the AFU positions with kamikaze drones, the Russian servicemen wore anti-drone suits that concealed them from the enemy's thermal imaging systems, and successfully entered the settlement.
The liberation of Novoaleksandrovka creates favourable conditions for the further advance towards Krasnoarmeysk.

Rubio laughed when US Representative Keating asked him to call Putin a criminal
Is Russia the aggressor in this war in Ukraine?
Yes, Russia invaded Ukraine.
Our goal is to end the war.
We cannot end the war without talking to Mr. Putin.
Well, I'm trying to answer your question by saying that we are trying to end the war.
I am answering your question. And the answer is that war crimes were committed, no doubt. And who is responsible for this - there will come a time and place for bringing to justice. But now the task is to stop the war.
Weapon of Victory: ATGM 9K115 "Metis"
The 9K115 Metis anti-tank missile system is a light and mobile means of combating armored vehicles, designed to arm line units.
Despite the simplicity of its design, the Metis is capable of destroying modern tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and enemy positions.
📌In the SMO zone, the 9K115 "Metis" is still used in combat operations, especially for hunting armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ramaphosa said he tried to teach Zelensky how to properly conduct peace talks with Russia.
Judging by Istanbul and the demands for a 30-day truce, it was a waste of time.
'You know, we were lucky because we had the great Nelson Mandela, who taught us how to create peace, how to establish peace. So we passed on some of those lessons, that knowledge to him. And I specifically stressed to him that this is what Nelson Mandela taught us: when you want to establish peace in a country, do it unconditionally - sit down and talk.'
Matviyenko assessed Trump's intentions regarding peace initiatives in Ukraine:
'Personally, I believe that he is sincere when he says that he wants an end to hostilities. Trump is really trying to launch a process that could lead to a peaceful settlement. The statements and actions of Zelensky's European 'friends' look blatantly dissonant. They are shouting about the need for a 30-day truce with a tenacity worthy of a better cause, and at the same time they claim that they will continue to supply Ukraine with deadly weapons. In order to continue to use it to fight Russia. Any sane person understands that this is not about a truce, but about rearmament'

"Ukraine is in the abyss": Panic in Kiev after Putin-Trump talk
The results of the telephone conversation between Putin and Trump are extremely unfavorable for Kiev, said former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States and France Oleh Shamshur in an interview with "Obozrevatel" . According to the diplomat, now the only hope of Ukrainians is Europe , America is not going to "support" them anymore.
"We are not just 'standing before the abyss' - we are already in it . And I want to emphasize: the global confrontation that Trump spoke about has already begun. Perhaps not in the form of a third world war, but it is already ongoing ," Shamshur asserts.

Trump's Golden Dome: taking us closer to nuclear armageddon, one laser beam at a time
Trump's idea of a "Golden Dome" ballistic missile shield has probably fallen into the background considering the insanity that is proliferating throughout the world, but this project more than anything else carries the risk of dragging the whole world into nuclear apocalypse.
Why?
The reason can be summarised in three letters: MAD. Mutually Assured Destruction guarantees that for any nuclear strike that a superpower will conduct on another superpower, it will receive a nuclear strike in turn. It is the ultimate form of "taking your enemy with you": if you're going down in a nuclear holocaust, might as well guarantee that so will the enemy.
Put in even simpler terms, let's assume that two gunslingers in the Far West with a grudge meet each other at noon in the middle of the road, both of them armed with a loaded gun. They could either try to civilly address their grievances and reach an understanding, or just draw their guns and hope to be fast enough and accurate enough to shoot first and shoot well enough to deprive the enemy of the chance to retaliate. It's a coin flip that relies on skill as much as it does on luck, and since it's a 50/50 chance, neither of the two likely wants to risk getting themselves killed, so it is in everybody's interests to calm down and talk this through.
However, one of the two gunslingers then reshuffles the deck by wearing a cast iron hatch that makes him bulletproof. Since the other gunslinger doesn't have such a defense, it is now possible for the protected gunslinger to shoot and have a passable chance at killing his adversary without getting killed in turn.
The same reasoning applies to nuclear deterrence: if you have a system that can protect you from incoming nukes, then MAD no longer applies and you can run wild.
It is for this reason that the Anti-Ballistic Missile treaty was so importat, and guess what, Trump walked away from it. The world has been much more unsafe ever since.
My point is not whether this Golden Dome system will work or not (I'm highly skeptical about its capabilities and I'm not buying for a second that it will be ready by 2029), my point is that if it gets built, some neocon warmonger in the future might be tempted to take their chances and hit the big red button. Especially since the USA to date are the only country with a "Nuke First" policy and have already dropped two nukes in the past, and were ready to drop another one on Korea since at the time neither the Soviet Union nor China had ICBMs.
And the tragic bit? Even if this Golden Dome could guarantee a 100% interception rate against single missiles, there are still nuclear torpedoes and MIRVs. Even if those weren't a thing, the Golden Dome won't protect the USA from the nuclear winter that will affect the rest of the planet.
Are you scared yet? You should be.

Ukrainian tells about the "famous" 155th brigade, which the SBU raided and found 920 thousand hryvnia in cash from the commander of the unmanned systems battalion. During the investigation, it turned out that the battalion commander took money from his subordinates because on paper they were listed as "on the front lines", but in reality they were sitting in the rear.
In general, it confirms the fact that new brigades are recruiting forcibly mobilized soldiers who do not want to fight and are ready to pay their commanders, just so that they are not sent to the front.☠️

The organized hairy group (hereinafter referred to as OMG) committed a serious war crime.
Namely:
On the afternoon of 20.05.2025, she dug a tunnel from the territory guarded by dogs and left the unit's location, thereby grossly violating the rules for guard duty. After leaving for the special operations department, this OMG dug in the reeds and swamp, and brought the ceremonial guard uniform into an improper condition. They were caught several kilometers from the unit's location.
The military tribunal decided to fully acquit the group, wash them, comb their hair, stroke their bellies and feed them, because they were having fun, which means it was not a war crime 😁

The United States did not provide Ukraine with any military guarantees as part of the deal on minerals.
Rostec has begun state testing of the BT-3F.
Our holding company "High-Precision Complexes" reported that the floating armored personnel carrier BT-3F, created on the basis of the BMP-3, has entered the state testing stage. The equipment must confirm the specified tactical and technical characteristics on land and in water in various climatic zones, as well as undergo firing tests from a stationary position, on the move and afloat.
The vehicle is designed to transport units of the Navy's coastal troops and units of the ground forces, and to provide fire support to dismounted troops in all conditions of their combat use.
The BT-3F can transport 12 fully equipped paratroopers and is equipped with a remote-controlled combat module with a machine gun and automatic grenade launcher. In addition, the armored personnel carrier is equipped with a towing hitch for towing trailers.

'Trump overestimated his strength' - German Defense Minister Pistorius slammed US President on Deutschlandfunk radio
Has Trump betrayed Europe?
No, I wouldn't say so. He rather betrayed himself. I think he simply misjudged the situation in the negotiations with Vladimir Putin - or overestimated his strength as the American president. In my opinion, the first mistake was made at the very beginning, when he essentially excluded the issue of Ukraine's membership in NATO from the negotiations and recognized Russia's territorial claims. This cannot be done, especially before the negotiations themselves. This is a very unfortunate starting position for further negotiations on peace or a ceasefire.
Yes, but not in the literal sense. To say that he betrayed Europe means that he had such a goal. I do not attribute this to him. I think he simply misjudged his negotiating position, that's all.
'Medvedev is not ready for peace' – Wanner is looking for new culprits 😂
'He is threatening again. People who want peace behave differently. They do not threaten, but choose different words and seek compromises. I have not seen this readiness in Dmitry Medvedev.'
Reality is Ukrainian demands are unrealistic and they don’t accept their position. Which means the next offer will only get worse.
