Oh Turkey, the self-declared sultan of Muslim pride and savior of the Ummah. A country that somehow manages to wrap itself in the glorious robes of Ottoman nostalgia while simultaneously doing the electric slide with Zionism behind the minbar. If hypocrisy were an Olympic sport, Ankara would already be decorating its walls with gold medals — right next to Erdogan’s framed photo of his handshake with Herzog.

Let’s give credit where it’s due: Turkey has pulled off the ultimate balancing act. On one hand, you’ve got speeches thundering from pulpits about Palestine, Gaza, and the Muslim world’s suffering. On the other hand, Turkish ports remain happily open for Israeli trade, Turkish airspace keeps getting that good ol’ Tel Aviv traffic, and Ankara practically has a revolving door for Israeli diplomats. Bravo! A round of applause for the master illusionist.

You see, when a few token tweets or UN votes are tossed out to appease the angry Arab street, that’s not betrayal — that’s “strategic diplomacy.” When Turkish companies rake in billions from Israel year after year, that’s not complicity — that’s just business. And when Erdogan condemns Israeli airstrikes while sipping tea with NATO’s finest, that’s not hypocrisy — that’s “nuanced foreign policy,” my friend.

And let’s not forget the pièce de résistance: Masquerading as the heirs to the Ottomans. Oh, the theatrics! You’d think the Ottoman Empire had been resurrected, minus the honor, dignity, or spine. Instead of leading the Ummah with strength and independence, modern Turkey seems content to be the concierge of Zionism in the region — loudly protesting at the front desk while handing out the Wi-Fi password to the backdoor occupiers.

Need weapons and drone parts? Guess who’s been not-so-secretly selling? Need intelligence channels? Ankara’s got you. Want a few Israeli athletes to feel safe while the rest of the world’s Muslims are boycotting everything short of hummus? Don’t worry, Turkey will host the Olympics of Normalisation with fireworks and Ottoman-themed cosplay hats.

And the cherry on top? The Turkish state media’s soap opera machine cranks out Ottoman dramas faster than Zionists bulldoze homes. Endless tales of Muslim valour, justice, and anti-colonial might — while the very real Muslim lands suffer and Turkey stays remarkably… quiet. Gaza’s being reduced to ash? Ankara issues a strongly worded tweet. Kids in Rafah buried in rubble? Don’t worry, we’ve just approved another trade deal.

So here’s the question: How do you scream “Ummah Unity!” while sharing dessert with those who dismember it?

Answer: You wear a fez, shout “Allahu Akbar,” and sell your soul to the highest bidder in shekels and smiles.

Turkey: The only country that manages to wave the Palestinian flag with one hand while shaking hands with Israel using the other — and still claim they’re leading the Muslim world.

Mashallah. Truly an inspiration in doublethink.
