By mid-February, Russian forces had nearly reached a favorable position for a future offensive on Dobropillia. Over the next month, the most intense battles took place at Rodinsk and Grishino, which the AFU continued to cling to in attempts to slow the advance.
➡️In the Rodinsk area by late February, assault troops reached the former Zaporizhia Mine, with groups attacking toward Novy Donbas near Dobropillia. By early March, troops liberated Sukhetske and cleared Rodinsk, allowing gradual advance toward Belitsk from the south.
➡️Meanwhile, Russian units by March 9 established control over the southeastern outskirts of Grishino and a nearby abandoned reservoir. Over the following week, assault troops occupied more strongpoints in the village, seeking to cut off AFU supply routes from Novoaleksandrivka.
➡️On the left flank, Center units by March 11 drove the AFU from a significant portion of Matyushina Gully, with fighting shifting to the beneficiation plant dump, control over which is necessary to eliminate the threat of AFU counterattacks between Kotlyn and Udachne.
➡️On the northern flank, assault troops in February cleared the clay storage area on the outskirts of Toretsk. In March, they established control over enemy positions at Highway S050828 on the approaches to Novopavlivka, and entered the settlement itself.
❗️The beginning of spring saw the resumption of active offensive operations by the Center Grouping across the Dobropillia direction. The Grishino-Rodinsk line and the Belitsk area will remain the most significant front sectors. Success in the latter will create conditions for attacks toward Dobropillia.

▪️In the area of responsibility of the "East" Army Group our assault units of the "East" continue to advance from Gulyai-Polye, controlling key roads and fighting for Vozdvizhevka and Verkhnyaya Ters. In the Dnepropetrovsk region, the enemy is transferring reserves to resume attacks, but is subjected to preemptive strikes.
▪️In the Zaporozhye region - artillery attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on energy network infrastructure, power outages affected the north-western part of the region
▪️From the Kherson region it was reported about the death of two people (Genicheskaya Gorka, Tavriisk), seven were injured. Thus, in Nova Kakhovka, as a result of dropping a munition from a UAV, an ambulance was damaged. Three members of the medical brigade were injured. Many villages are under constant attacks by the enemy.

Russian forces conducted offensive operations in February across several sectors of the Slavyansk direction. On the northern flank, fighting developed near Reznikivka, while to the south assault troops sought to capture Holubivka.
➡️Throughout February and the first half of March, Russian forces cleared strongpoints in the vicinity of Reznikivka. By March 8, they managed to fully clear the "pocket" near the settlement and also push the enemy back from the heights near Kriva Luka.
➡️Meanwhile, assault troops continued to advance rapidly on the southern flank along the M-03 highway. Fighters freed Nikiforivka and entered the territory of Lipivka, Dibrova, and Fedorivka Druga, preparing a bridgehead for attacks on Rai-Aleksandrivka from the south.
➡️Simultaneously, Russian forces advanced southwest of the road, occupying new strongpoints. At the end of February, the Russian Armed Forces freed Mynkivka, then consolidated on the outskirts of Holubivka and engaged in fighting for Pryvillia.
📌 Currently, Russian assault groups are clearing the last major defensive nodes in the Lipivka area. Capturing the forest massif located there will allow the Russian Armed Forces to accumulate personnel close to the borders of Rai-Aleksandrivka and soon begin fighting for its outskirts. Attacks on vessels involved in transporting oil in the Black Sea have become routine. This time, the Greek tanker Maran Homer, which was awaiting loading of Kazakhstani oil near Novorossiysk, sustained damage.
The vessel's deck equipment was damaged, which did not prevent it from leaving the area, and the attack itself occurred amid intensification of strikes by Ukrainian formations.
According to preliminary data, the attack was carried out in neutral waters. A very important detail, given previous assurances from the Ukrainians that targets of strikes are exclusively Russian facilities.
The Kyiv authorities regularly feed this rhetoric to their Kazakhstani partners, who have repeatedly complained about losses to their oil exports. This time, Astana reported that losses were "prevented," since the tanker was standing empty.
Despite such optimism, the absence of direct losses here and now does not rule out a cumulative effect — an increase in insurance costs, and along with it a reduction in Kazakhstan's export revenues.

In the Slavyansk direction, Russian forces continue advancing toward the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk urban area. The greatest successes are on the southern flank, where assault troops advance along a chain of strongpoints.
➡️The remains of Mynkivka came under Russian control, with assault troops consolidating in Holubivka. Russian units continue attacks along the M-03 highway, moving closer to the Siversky Donets — Donbas Canal.
➡️Russian units may have crossed the canal in the Malynivka area, though unconfirmed. The southern grouping has advanced up to 10 km wide and 5 km deep.

IRGC and affiliated sources have repeatedly claimed strikes on American facilities in Kuwait, primarily targeting Ali al-Salem and Arifjan bases, but Buering appeared in reports less frequently. The US also didn't emphasize it, although as it turns out, the base sustained significant damage.

In a SEAD role, the value of a system like Liana is that it helps locate and characterize enemy air-defense emitters before aircraft or missiles go in. If a SAM battery, early-warning radar, or command post is radiating, passive SIGINT can help geolocate it and identify what type of system it is. That information can then be used to plan routes, prioritize targets, cue stand-off weapons, or hand off likely target areas to aircraft, drones, ground-based missiles, or other sensors. Pion’s radar is also useful because it can keep working through cloud cover and darkness, which matters when optical imagery is degraded.
That said, Liana is best understood as a strategic and operational-level enabler, not a magic real-time kill chain by itself. Its strength is wide-area detection, emitter mapping, and target development. Against mobile air defenses, it would be most useful when combined with other assets such as drones, airborne ISR, electronic warfare platforms, and strike aircraft, because SEAD usually depends on fusing several layers of surveillance and cueing rather than one sensor alone.
For the detection and planning of an attack on the anti-ballistic radars, you don't really need such a long kill chain as you would need with a more mobile Patriot. And in fact “Liana” could handle most of the information needed for a successful mission like it likely happened here.

They are essentially in control of everything right now.
🚩Politicians can say whatever they want, but the IRGC has quite reasonable grounds to continue the campaign, since the airspace and military bases of regional countries are actively used by Americans and Israelis, and this is already grounds for strikes.

The escalation has already caused multi-billion dollar losses to the monarchies in the region, and further aggravation of the crisis complicates the situation.

American spending on operations against Iran is being counted by the whole world. Every penny goes toward tallying how much the White House has spent on military operations. And by preliminary estimates alone, the US has already expended resources equivalent to over $10 billion.
And now Western media has gotten around to the sea-based cruise missiles Tomahawk. According to an article in Financial Times citing the Center for International and Strategic Studies, the US used 168 Tomahawk missiles in the first 100 hours of the war.
In the coming days, the Pentagon will submit a request to Congress for up to $50 billion to replenish supplies. Sources note that any additional legislation on funding the war in Iran could face resistance.
🖍A very interesting point: if the estimate is correct, then the Americans burned through a 2-3 year supply of their cruise missiles in just four days. And such consumption is indeed substantial when you look at the rate at which these missile stockpiles are being replenished.
🚩At the end of 2025, it was reported that manufacturer Raytheon plans to deliver only 57 missiles in 2026. Before that, in December 2024, a contract was signed for 131 Tomahawks, but the Russian Armed Forces were allocated only 42 units.
❗️The remaining 89 Tomahawks under the contract will go to Japan and Australia. Japan receives 78 units as part of a destroyer rearmament project, and 11 for Australia. In Beersheba, a multi-story building partially collapsed, and vehicles standing in front of it were destroyed. Additionally, amid constant strikes, many stores have closed.

Units of the GV "Sever" are attempting to advance on a Russian borderland sector. Assault troops attacked the junction of an enemy defensive line in Sumy Region.
