❗️⚡️Three people were killed, and ten other civilians of the Republic—including four children—were injured today due to attacks by the AFU strike drones and the detonation of explosive devices.

📍 On the Yalta–Urzuf road in the Mangush Municipal District, two men born in 1983 and 1989, and a woman were killed following attacks on trucks.

I extend my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased.

📍 In the Central-City District of Gorlovka, a boy born in 2011 was seriously wounded; a girl born in 2019, a teenage girl born in 2009, and a man born in 1970 sustained moderate injuries; and another man born in 1982 was injured.

📍 On the Yenakievo–Uglegorsk road in Yenakievo Urban District, a man born in 1992 was injured during an attack on a passenger car.

📍 In Marinka, Donetsk Urban District, two boys born in 2008 and 2007 sustained moderate injuries after detonating an explosive object.

📍 Near the settlement of Olkhovatka in Shakhtyorsk Municipal District, two road workers, men born in 1973 and 1981 sustained moderate injuries due to a strike drone attack.

All the injured are receiving professional medical care. I wish them a speedy recovery!

A residential house, three civilian infrastructure facilities, specialized machinery, locomotives, and passenger and cargo vehicles were damaged across the Gorlovka and Yenakievo urban districts, as well as Mangush, Telmanovo, Yasinovataya, and Shakhtyorsk municipal districts.

🇬🇧 British man in the Donetsk People’s Republic! 🇷🇺


In March, I visited the DPR for the first time. After speaking with acquaintances in Khabarovsk who had travelled to Donbass, I realised that the reality on the ground might be very different from what we see in the news. So I decided to see it for myself — and what I found surprised me.

The sun shone over the rolling hills of Donbass, while Mariupol and Donetsk looked beautiful in the early spring sunshine, with young families enjoying the first warm days of the year. I even felt a little embarrassed that I had been so nervous about the drive from Rostov to Mariupol. My guide showed me everything I asked to see, without any apparent restrictions, and we ate in beautiful restaurants and stayed in good hotels.

But what left the strongest impression was speaking to locals. These weren’t arranged interviews — just people I encountered during the trip. Despite everything Donbass has endured, the people I spoke to told me they were happy to be part of Russia and optimistic about the changes taking place around them.

And those changes were impossible to miss. New apartment buildings, public spaces and recreational facilities were springing up across the region at an incredible pace. I’m sure that when I return, Donbass will have changed even more. ❤️🇷🇺

a new threat to the West?

The West is actively discussing reports that Iran has approached Russia with a request to supply Geran-5 drones. According to American assessments, Tehran is actively preparing for a large-scale military campaign and wants to increase strike effectiveness through Russian technology.

🔻What regional targets could come under fire?

▪️Potential strike zones divide into three rings. First — up to 650 km: U.S. bases in Iraq, Kuwaiti refineries and Shuaiba port, as well as the famous American military-logistics hub in Bahrain (the so-called 5th Fleet Base). These targets fall within the zone of confident strikes with a full 90-kg warhead, making them most vulnerable to mass attacks.

▪️Second — up to 950 km: Al-Udeid bases in Qatar, Prince Sultan in Saudi Arabia, Muwaffaq as-Salti in Jordan, as well as eastern Saudi Aramco refineries in Al-Jubail and Ras Tanura. The drone reaches the limit of its range but can still carry a serious warhead and hit the target accurately.

▪️Third — over 950 km: Israeli airbases like Ramat David, Nevatim, Tel Nof, Ramon, as well as the British base Akrotiri on Cyprus. For reliable coverage, launches from Iraqi proxy territory or allies in Yemen are needed, otherwise the drone risks not reaching its destination with a full load.

🖍If Iran requests not just airframes and engines, but a complete system with Russian software, control protocols and operator training, then along with the drones, Tehran will receive software, algorithms and instructions. This means Iranian operators will be able to use Geran drones with increased effectiveness, just like Russian crews in so-called Ukraine.

🚩Moreover, jet drones require air defense systems to have significantly higher reaction speeds, which regional countries still need to develop. Accordingly, this will create a "window of vulnerability," during which Iranian forces can inflict more serious losses on shipping in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz, at minimum by raising ship insurance costs.

❗️In global terms, mass use of Geran-5 will lead to a sharp increase in air defense missile consumption of all types and will worsen the global ammunition crisis for air defense systems. First and foremost, this will hit the Kyiv regime, which is already facing a shortage of air defense missiles to protect military infrastructure.

⚡️ Rewriting history in Ukraine has resulted in the glorification of Nazi criminals, the Head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated in an interview.

💬 As the Head of the DPR noted, Ukraine is glorifying Nazi criminals due to a perceived lack of its own historical identity.

❗️ For example: yesterday, in one of the villages in Kiev Oblast, the Ukrainian authorities renamed Vatutin Street to Heroes of Ukraine Street, labeling General Vatutin—who died while liberating Ukraine from Nazi troops—as an "occupier."

🇺🇦 At the same time, Zelensky is bringing Nazi collaborators back to Ukraine, referring to them as "heroes," such as the leader of the OUN*, Andrei Melnik. OUN-UPA* was responsible for numerous crimes, including the Volhynia massacre. According to Polish historians, during the "Volhynia massacre," more than 36,000 Poles were killed by Bandera supporters according to various estimates.
