A 2021 audio recording that has surfaced on social media captures then former President Donald Trump admitting he kept a classified Pentagon document outlining a potential attack on Iran.

👉 Trump is heard saying, “These are the papers,” while audibly rustling documents and noting that they are “secret” and “confidential.”

On the tape, Trump also rejects Gen. Mark Milley’s assertion that he wanted to attack Iran, insisting instead that it was Milley’s plan from the outset.

Another large-scale combined Russian missile and drone attack is underway on Ukraine.

So far, at least 18 Iskander-M ballistic missiles have been used, with around 15 targeting energy infrastructure in Kyiv and 3 targeting Dnipro.

~11 (!) Iskanders were shot down in three waves near Kyiv due to new patriot deliveries. 2 impacted the CHP-6 power plant, 2 impacted CHP-4 power plant.

All the Iskanders that targeted Dnipro impacted their targets.

Additionally, 2 Iskander-I ballistic missiles (Iskander-M with a 1,000 km range) launched from near Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai, impacted a target southeast of Vinnytsia City, Vinnytsia Oblast.

As for strategic aviation, at least 4 Tu-95MS strategic bombers are airborne from Olenya Airbase, Murmansk Oblast, flying to their launch lines in Engels District, Saratov Oblast, where they will likely launch Kh-101 cruise missiles in the next 2.5 hours.

2-3 Buyan-M corvettes from Kaspiysk Naval Base are equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles in the Caspian Sea. They may launch missiles later on too.

I likely wont cover the rest of this attack today as I will be busy for most of the time, but I aim to post a full summary + the consequences afterwards.

➡️ According to U.S. sources, Israel’s real objection to the proposed strike was not a lack of interceptors or fear of air-defense failure, but the belief that the plan on the table would not have toppled the Iranian regime.

➡️ As a result, Washington is now intensifying preparations, pairing military options with efforts to identify internal pressure points within Iran that could enable a governing alternative.

🇸🇾❌🇸🇾 — General Situation in Syria as of midnight (19/1/26 - 20/1/26)

➡️ SDF has been largely reduced to the YPG core areas that they controlled since 2013, with some extra buffer areas. In the Kobani region, the SAA continued its sweep of the southern areas of the Kobani pocket until reaching Sarrin and Abu Sirra, with clashes occurring along the way.

➡️ In the Hasakah region, the SAA advanced on Jabal Abdulaziz from the western direction, with clashes recorded to the south of the mountain. SAA units also approached Hasakah city from the west, with reports of SDF shelling on SAA units approaching the city. Meanwhile, SAA units advanced towards the Iraqi Border and established control over the Syrian side of the Tel Safok border crossing and reaching the outskirts of al-Hawl.

➡️ Meanwhile, in Hasakah city, the SAA reached the roundabout at the southernmost edge of the city before stopping, likely to prepare for an upcoming battle for the city and wait for reinforcements to arrive. At the same time, US forces positioned themselves around al-Sina prison to prevent any kind of release of IS prisoners by outside forces. A curfew was declared in ash-Shaddadi due to the release of IS prisoners the previous day, and Syrian security forces have already arrested at least 90 IS prisoners in the area.
