✴️ Advice of a goat

👉Once, a villager owned a donkey and a goat. He used the donkey to carry loads of articles from the village to the city where he would roam around the whole day selling his articles. Sometime he could lend his donkey to others on hire when they needed it. As the donkey worked hard the whole day, the villager used to feed the donkey more food than he gave to the goat.

The goat felt jealous of the donkey. He advised the donkey, "You work all day long and hardly get any rest. You must act that you are ill and fall down unconscious. This way, you'll get rest for a few days." The donkey agreed to this and acted as if he was ill. The villager called the doctor. The doctor said, ''Your donkey has a strange illness. To cure him, you must feed him the soup made of a goat's lungs."

The villager at once killed the goat and cooked soup out of his lungs. Then he fed the soup to the donkey.

The goat had tried to harm the donkey out of jealousy but he had been killed for his evil nature.

✴️ نصیحت یک بز

👈روزی روزگاری یک روستایی صاحب یک الاغ و بز بود. او از الاغ برای حمل بار کالا از روستا به شهر استفاده میکرد که در آنجا کل روز را پرسه میزد و کالاهایش را میفروخت. گاهی اوقات خر را با اجرتی به دیگران قرض میداد وقتی نیاز داشتند. به خاطر اینکه خر به سختی در طول روز کار میکرد، روستایی غذای بیشتری نسبت به بز به خر میداد.

بز نسبت به خر احساس حسادت کرد. او به خر نصیحتی کرد : "تو تمام طول روز کار میکنی و به ندرت استراحت میکنی. بایستی وانمود کنی که مریض هستی و ناخوداگاه زمین بیفت. اینجوری میتوانی چند روز استراحت کنی." خر با این موضوع موافقت کرد و وانمود کرد که مریض است. روستایی دکتر را خبر کرد. دکتر گفت: "خر تو یک مریضی عجیب دارد. برای درمانش، بایستی سوپی که از جگر یک بز ساخته شده به خوردش بدهی.
روستایی در دم بز را کشت و سوپی از جگر بز درست کرد. سپس سوپ را به خورد خر داد.
بز تلاش کرد که از روی حسادت ضربه ای به خر وارد کند ولی خودش به خاطر طبیعت شیطانیش کشته شد

⭕️ Common mistakes

❎ He is not so rich.
✅ He is not very rich.
او خیلی پولدار نیست.

‼️هر دو صفت "so و very" به معنای "زیاد, خیلی ,چندان, و بسیار" هستند. اما كاربردهایشان متفاوت است. صفت "very" بیشتر از "so" در جملات منفی به کارمیرود. و زمانی که" so" در یک جمله منفی به کار میرود مفهوم مقایسه دو چیز, دو گروه یا دو انسان را در ویژگی خاصی القا میکند.

📒He's not so rich as you are.
📒اون به اندازه تو پولدار نیست.

📒I really want to help but it's not so simple as you think.
📒من واقعا مایلم کمک کنم اما قضیه اونقدر که تو فک میکنی ساده نیست.

‼️همانطور که میبیند " so" در جملات منفی در ترکیب زیر برای مقایسه دو چیز با هم به کارمیرود:
Not + so + adjective + as ...

👈گاها از adjective (صفت) به بعد در جمله حذف میشود با این وجود انگلیسی زبانان همچنان وجود مقایسه دو چیز یا دو شخص را تلویحا در جمله حس میکنند. در دو جمله ابتدای این پست, قصد گوینده مقایسه دو نفر با هم در صفت پولداری نیست بنابراین نمیتوان از "so" استفاده کرد.

⭕️A little boy and nails
پسرک و میخ

👉There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day, the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.

He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, “You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.

You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry the wound is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.”

👈روزی روزگاری،پسربچه ای بود که رفتار بدی داشت.پدرش به او کیفی پر از میخ داد و گفت هرگاه  رفتار بدی انجام داد،باید میخی را به دیوار فروکند.

روز اول پسربچه،37 میخ وارد دیوارکرد.در طول هفته های بعد،وقتی یادگرفت بر رفتارش کنترل کند،تعداد میخ هایی که به دیوار میکوبید به تدریج کمتر شد.

او فهمید که کنترل رفتار، از کوبیدن میخ به دیوار آسانتر است.

سرانجام روزی رسید که پسر رفتارش را به کلی کنترل کرد. این موضوع را به پدرش گفت و پدر پیشنهاد کرد اکنون هر روزی که رفتارش را کنترل کند، میخی را بیرون بکشد.روزها گذشت و پسرک سرانجام به پدرش گفت که تمام میخ ها را بیرون کشیده.پدر دست پسرش را گرفت و سمت دیوار برد.پدر گفت: تو خوب شده ای اما به این سوراخهای دیوار نگاه کن.دیوار شبیه اولش نیست.وقتی چیزی را با عصبانیت بیان می کنی،آنها سوراخی مثل این ایجاد می کنند. تو میتوانی فردی را چاقو بزنی و آنرا دربیاوری . مهم نیست که چقدر از این کار ،اظهار تاسف کنی.آن جراحت همچنان باقی می ماند.ایجاد یک زخم بیانی"رفتار بد"،به بدی یک زخم و جراحت فیزیکی است.
