با قلبی سنگین و چشمانی پر از اشک، خبر تلخ وداع را با آقای سید علی امیری، به اطلاع همه شما می‌رسانیم.

او برای ما یار همیشه حاضر، پشتیبان بی‌منت، و یادگاری از لبخند و مهربانی بی‌پایان بود. هنوز صدای خنده‌ها، دلسوزی‌های بی‌وقفه‌اش و خاطرات مشترک بی‌شماری که با او ساختیم، در گوش و دل‌مان زنده است. او را به خلوص نیّت و عشقی که به کارش داشت می‌شناختیم و از او فقط و فقط خوبی به یاد داریم.

از طرف تمام اعضای خانواده انجمن‌های علمی دانشجویی دانشگاه فردوسی، دوستداران و کسانی که روزی از محبت‌هایش بهره‌مند شده‌اند، این ضایعه‌ی دردناک را به خانواده‌ی گرامیشان، همکاران و همه عزیزانش تسلیت می‌گوییم.

خدایش بیامرزد. برایش آمرزش و آرامش، و برای همه‌ی ما بازماندگان، به ویژه خانواده‌ی محترمش، صبر و تحملی از جنس مهر آرزو می‌کنیم.

In the 20th issue of Decorum, we invite scholars, writers, and artists to explore the theme: "After the Longest Night | Light, Return, and the Grammar of Hope."

🎄🍁 From Christmas to Yalda, this issue explores how humanity remembers the light after darkness, focusing on hope as acts of survival, waiting, and faith under pressure, instead of naive optimism. We seek works that examine how cultures preserve warmth, sustain belief, and rehearse hope until return becomes possible. We welcome explorations across Literature, Theory & Criticism, and Popular Media.

انجمن علمی زبان و ادبیات انگلیسی دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد ضمن حمایت از حرکت ایجاد شده در جهت مطالبه به‌حق آموزش حضوری و عدم سلب حضور دانشجو در خانه خود دانشگاه، از تمامی دانشجویان گروه زبان انگلیسی دعوت می‌کند تا به این حرکت بپیوندند. آموزش مجازی به دلایل کیفیت پایین خدمات اینترنت، عدم دسترسی دانشجویان به ابزارهای دیجیتال، و عدم کیفیت آموزشی، نیازمند کنارگذاشته‌شدن است.

هرگونه اقدام دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد مبنی بر ادامه مجازی سازی کلاس‌ها، با وجود سیاست‌های متغیر وزارت علوم، در اسفند ماه، با توجه به درخواست‌های متعدد دانشجویان، انجمن‌های دانشجویی و شورای صنفی، به منظور نادیده‌گرفتن مطالبات دانشجو و پرهیز از شنیدن صدای او تلقی می‌شود و نشانگر فاصله عمیق سیاست‌های دانشگاه با خواست دانشجویان است.

شب اول؛ تی. اس. الیوت

با حضور دکتر محمودرضا قربان‌صباغ، استاد محترم گروه زبان و ادبیات انگلیسی دانشگاه فردوسی و با ارائه آقایان امین حسن‌زاده و سپهر شیبانی.

A cold coming we had of it,
Just the worst time of the year
For a journey, and such a long journey:
The ways deep and the weather sharp,
The very dead of winter.
And the camels galled, sore-footed, refractory,
Lying down in the melting snow.

سفری سرد در پیش داشتیم،
درست در بدترین وقتِ سال،
برای سفر؛
و چه سفرِ درازی.

راه‌ها صعب و عمیق،
و هوا گزنده،
در قعرِ چله‌ی زمستان.

و شترها،
با پوست‌های ریش‌ریش
و پاهای رنجور
و طبعی سرکش،
در میان برف‌های نیم‌گداخته،
به زانو درمی‌آمدند.
