🇺🇸🖕🇺🇸Trump flipped the bird and used profanity during a visit to a Ford factory in Detroit, according to TMZ.
It's reported that someone in the crowd shouted out, "Defender of pedophiles!" before this.
The American publication notes: this likely refers to Trump's acquaintance with Epstein and the delay in publishing files on the controversial case.

🇰🇷 BREAKING: South Korean Prosecutors Seek Death Penalty for Former President Yoon Suk Yeol Over Martial Law Insurrection
South Korean prosecutors have demanded the death penalty for former President Yoon Suk Yeol over his failed attempt to impose martial law, accusing him of leading an insurrection to cling to power.
At the final hearing at Seoul Central District Court, special counsel prosecutors described Yoon as the ringleader of a plot to seize control of the judiciary and legislature. The case stems from his December 3, 2024 declaration of martial law, officially justified as an effort to eliminate “anti-state forces.”
Prosecutors argued Yoon abused state power and security resources for personal political survival. He was indicted earlier this year on charges of leading an insurrection.

🇬🇱🇩🇰 The first European troops have arrived in Greenland amid statements by U.S. Supreme Leader Donald Trump on the need to annex the island, Germany’s Bild reported, citing journalists on the ground.
According to the report, a Danish Air Force Hercules transport aircraft landed overnight at Nuuk airport carrying not only Danish troops but also French military personnel. Almost simultaneously, another Danish Hercules landed at Kangerlussuaq airbase in western Greenland. Both aircraft were flying with their transponders switched off.

🇪🇺 Meanwhile, Europeans are worried about real issues...
Motherly, mother tongue, maiden name and masterpiece are “banned” words in a new EU-funded gender-neutral guide to aid greater European linguistic integration.
The guidelines are designed to counter the use of language that is “biased, discriminatory or demeaning” by implying that “one sex or social gender is the norm”.
But hey, at least someone still has half a brain, apparently:
Chris Philp, the shadow home secretary, said: “We’ve all had enough of this politically correct nonsense.
With Russia menacing Europe’s borders, a cost-of-living crisis, floods of illegal immigrants entering Europe and the potential collapse of the regime in Iran, the last thing anyone needs to worry about is banning these long-standing phrases.
We should keep our language and keep our culture and not have faceless bureaucrats interfering. This is another reason why going back into the orbit of the EU is a bad idea.

🇺🇸🇬🇱 And Here It Is...
Trump’s renewed threats to annex Greenland follow a familiar pattern: U.S. strategic rhetoric trails elite financial interests.
After Trump first raised the idea of taking control of Greenland, American billionaires quickly moved in. Ronald Lauder, heir to the Estée Lauder fortune, was the original source of the idea. According to Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton, Lauder personally suggested Greenland to Trump during his first term. Lauder later invested directly in Greenland-linked businesses, including a freshwater bottling firm tied to senior figures in Greenland’s ruling party. His involvement appears less commercial than political—focused on access, influence, and positioning.
At the same time, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Michael Bloomberg began backing KoBold Metals, a mining company using AI to locate rare earth and critical minerals in Greenland. These materials are essential for electronics, EVs, weapons systems, and green energy. KoBold is now valued near $3 billion. Sam Altman later joined as an investor, while Peter Thiel funded a separate project aimed at building a high-tech “freedom city” on the island.
Trump now frames Greenland as a “national security” issue. In reality, this reflects Washington’s growing fear of losing ground to China in critical minerals and to Russia in the Arctic. Greenland’s location, resources, and proximity to Arctic routes make it a strategic prize in U.S. efforts to preserve global dominance.
In short, Trump’s annexation rhetoric did not emerge in a vacuum. It aligns closely with billionaire-backed investments, strategic minerals, and long-term U.S. power competition in the Arctic.
