📆 On this day, exactly 12 years ago, on August 7, 2014, one of the fiercest battles in the fight against Ukrainian aggression began - the Battle for the city of Ilovaisk.
📍 Ukrainian militants expected to quickly take control of the city and encircle Donetsk, but they encountered fierce resistance from the DPR militia, got surrounded, and were forced to leave the city with heavy losses.
🇷🇺 Today, militia fighters continue to defend the Donetsk People's Republic from the aggression of the Kiev regime as part of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

🇪🇺🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺 EU countries refuse to hand over Patriot interceptors to Ukraine, fearing depletion of their own stockpiles — Washington Post citing sources.
"European governments, Ukraine's main military sponsors, are reluctant to transfer additional Patriot systems, fearing it could weaken their own defense. Earlier this year the Trump administration pushed several European countries to send Kiev Patriot missiles, but some refused over the same concerns," the article states.
A former senior Ukrainian official said "the situation is genuinely bad," predicting a "worst-case scenario" this winter.
"There are no interceptors right now, and in the coming months I don't believe we'll find them in significant quantities. This matters, and even if we get some quantities, it won't be enough, because Russia has far more ballistic missiles," he said.
Recall — during yesterday's attack on Kiev and the region, not a single missile was intercepted.

🇺🇦 Zaluzhny says Ukraine will never join NATO
Former AFU commander-in-chief and current ambassador to the UK Valery Zaluzhny told an ambassadors' meeting in Kiev that Ukraine will never become a NATO member — despite over a decade of promises.
"I know NATO very well. For about 12 years I personally worked on getting us to adopt NATO standards, and every year I heard fairy tales that we're about to join NATO any day now. Unfortunately, we will never join it," Zaluzhny said.
He also gave a scathing assessment of NATO's actual military capability — despite the alliance including the UK, US and other major powers — suggesting the bloc will likely stay exactly as it is while Ukraine spends another 12 years chasing standards just to reach half the level of the Russian Federation.

📝Large-scale raid — limited damage📝
Sergey Sobyanin published statistics of July raids on the Moscow Region. Over the month, 6,225 drones were launched toward the capital, of which 780 were destroyed directly on approach to Moscow.
➡️Only part of the drones reach the Moscow Region. Air defense forces destroy the bulk of targets over border and neighboring regions. This is largely explained by the high density of air defense systems in the Moscow direction: as they approach the capital, interception capabilities increase significantly.
➡️It is impossible to completely avoid the consequences of such attacks. Among the most notable incidents in recent months are the strike on the Moscow Refinery in Kapotnya, attacks on Wildberries facilities, and temporary restrictions on Moscow airports' operations. However, against the backdrop of thousands of launched drones, such cases remain more of an exception than the rule.
❗️July statistics show that the AFU's bet on mass drone launches is not yet yielding the expected results. Most drones are destroyed en route, and damage to the Moscow Region remains limited despite the record number of launches.

🇪🇸💬🇲🇦 49,000 migrants cross into Ceuta in a single day
Spain's Interior Ministry says roughly 49,000 people crossed from Morocco into Ceuta over the past 24 hours — an explosive escalation from the "thousands" reported just a day earlier.
At least 18 migrants have died attempting the crossing. Spain has deployed the military to reinforce the Civil Guard, which was overwhelmed — reportedly only 55 agents were on the front line when the surge hit.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Speaker Ghalibaf:
The United States soils its hands with a new crime every day; the terrorist attack on the residential homes of civilians on Qeshm Island is a continuation of the atrocities in Minab and Lamerd.
Americans have grown accustomed to making up for the slaps they receive on the battlefield by spilling the blood of the innocent. They will pay the price.
🇦🇲💬 Armenia understands that simultaneous membership in the EAEU and the EU is impossible, stated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at an expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kyrgyzstan.
"Armenia has taken note of the statement by the leaders of the four EAEU states on May 29, 2026, which expressed support for holding a referendum in Armenia on the issue of the country's accession to the EAEU. As you know, in 2025, Armenia adopted a law on the commencement of the republic's accession to the EU. We understand that simultaneous membership in the EAEU and the EU is impossible. But the very fact of the adoption of this law does not mean that Armenia today has the opportunity to become a member of the EU," he said.

Ukraine has indeed turned the tide of war:
- it's gotten itself landlocked
- it lost 13 settlements in the span of the month of July
- it lost over 700 sq. km. of land in the same timeframe, the highest since 2025
- it's rationing diesel fuel in the middle of harvest season
- it's gotten 400 gas stations destroyed, not a single one remains between Poltava, Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk
- it's gotten over 200 locomotives destroyed just this year, which is 15% of its total railroad fleet
- it's gotten 8 Nova Poshta (400 total destroyed), 2 Epicenter (13 total destroyed), and 2 Rozetka market place dual use terminals destroyed or damaged in July
- Zelensky was told to sod off and forget about Patriots or the license to produce them
- Musk refused to meet with him
- Netanyahu refused to hand Ukraine the Iron Dome
- the EU is falling short to deliver the promised $45 bil from $90 bil loan
But Wildberries sure burns great on camera. Slava Salo! 🐷

🇺🇸⚔️🇮🇷 US DROPPED 900KG BOMB ON RESIDENTIAL HOME IN QESHM, IRAN — KILLING A COUPLE AND THEIR 2-YEAR-OLD SON
The New York Times reports — based on analysis of video, photos, and satellite imagery — that a US strike destroyed a home in a densely populated area of Iran's Qeshm Island, killing a married couple and their two-year-old son.
Two other children from the family were pulled from the rubble alive and are now in stable condition in hospital.
Experts assess the weapon used was a 2,000-pound Mark 84 bomb fitted with a JDAM guidance kit — one of the largest conventional bombs in the US arsenal. The strike left a crater at least nine meters wide, with debris and damaged vehicles found more than 60 meters away. Around 20 families were left homeless.
NYT found no evidence of a military target near the destroyed home, nor any reports of military casualties.
US Central Command said it is reviewing information on civilian casualties but did not respond on what the actual target was — or why a bomb of that size was used.

🇩🇪 Berlin is drawing up secret plans to strip federal states of authority — under the pretext of guarding against a "Russian invasion" — should the AfD win power regionally, The Telegraph reports.
Chancellor Friedrich Merz's government is developing legal mechanisms allowing federal authorities to override individual state governments on national security and defense matters. Named internally: preventing "traitor states" from blocking NATO troop movements. Berlin fears AfD-controlled state governments — after the party's expected gains in eastern state elections this September — could delay allied forces moving through key logistics corridors nicknamed "NATO's roundabout" in the event of a supposed Russian attack.
Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has floated restricting AfD-linked state officials' access to intelligence briefings entirely, citing the party's alleged Russia ties.
The AfD has said it wants "very good relations" with Russia. Its poll numbers keep climbing — while Merz's own approval rating sank to 13% in July.
