❗️Australia will begin to sell uranium to India for peaceful purposes after Albanese and Modi signed a deal in Melbourne on Thursday enacting an agreement on exports of the material that was held up for years over concerns about weapons use.

Australia has the world's largest known uranium resources, but the country doesn't use any nuclear power or weapons and all uranium is exported.

India, which has a population of 1.4 billion people and a growing middle class, wants to install 100 gigawatts of nuclear power by 2047 — enough to power nearly 60 million Indian homes a year. But obtaining uranium hasn’t been simple.

Approximately 40% of India's current nuclear power capacity is generated from Russian-supplied reactors.

Russia's Rosatom is the primary contractor building four additional reactors at Kudankulam (Units 3, 4, 5, and 6). Once completed, these will add another 4,000 MW of Russian-backed capacity.

😁Conclusion: Australian uranium that is sold to India will be used in Russian controlled nuclear reactors.

❗️This happened about a month ago. A Ukrainian drone struck a gas station in Yenakiieve, causing a 21-year-old guy to nearly burn alive.

The victim had to have his spleen removed and suffered severe burns to his legs, back, and arms. He is currently recovering from the incident.

❗️​​​​​A Queensland mining equipment manufacturer has been fined more than $126,000 after an Australian Border Force (ABF) investigation found it had illegally exported sanctioned goods to Russia through intermediary countries.

The ABF also seized almost $50,000 worth of goods that were destined for Russia.


The warrants uncovered evidence that the company knowingly exported sanctioned goods to Russia on nine occasions between December 2023 and October 2024 by routing shipments through intermediary countries without the required permissions.
