❗️The IRGC says it has launched a second wave of missile and drone strikes targeting the U.S. Naval Support Activity Bahrain as part of Operation Nusr 2.

According to the IRGC, the strikes targeted fuel storage facilities, a Patriot air defense radar, an air control radar, a Centurion C-RAM radar, and a command-and-control center for unmanned surface vessels (USVs).

The IRGC added that the operation remains ongoing.

❗️Russian President Vladimir Putin has granted Russian citizenship to Archpriest Vladimir Boikov, according to a presidential decree published on the Kremlin's official website.

The internet portal clarifies that Vladimir Boikov, born on July 28, 1966, in Australia , received Russian citizenship in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated July 13, 2026.

Vladimir Boikov is the dean and rector of a group of parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in New Zealand. He frequently visits Russia and leads pilgrimage groups, including an annual visit to Yekaterinburg for the Tsar's Days festival, dedicated to the memory of the last Russian emperor, Nicholas II, and members of the royal family, his nephew, Simeon Boikov, told RIA Novosti.

"He's currently in Russia. I think he's in Yekaterinburg... He might not know about his citizenship yet and will read about it in the press. That's what happened to me in 2023," Boikov said.

Simeon Boikov, known as the "Ataman of the Australian Cossacks," received Russian citizenship by presidential decree in September 2023.

❗️Prosecutors have withdrawn 4 out of 22 indecent assault charges against veteran broadcaster Alan Jones.

It brings the total number of charges Mr Jones will defend to 22, the majority of which are indecent assault offences.

The 85-year-old pleaded not guilty and denies all wrongdoing, with a months-long hearing due to begin in early August.

Interestingly, Channel 9 reports that 2 victims "dropped from the case".

What does "dropped from the case" mean? In Australia unlike the US and a victim cannot "take back their statement" and elect "not to press charges".

Он часто бывает в России и ведет паломнические группы, в том числе ежегодно приезжает в Екатеринбург на фестиваль Царские дни, посвященный памяти последнего российского императора Николая II и членам царской семьи, сообщил РИА Новости его племянник Семен Бойков.

❗️UK Expands Sanctions Against Russia

The British authorities have expanded the sanctions list by 24 positions. Restrictions were imposed on 23 individuals and one legal entity.

Among those sanctioned are senior officials from Russia’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) — Vyacheslav Stafeev, Ivan Senin, and Ivan Kasyanenko. The measures also targeted the leaders and ordinary employees of the military-analytical project “Rybar” including directors, senior management, and content designers.

London accused them of organising cyberattacks, interfering in elections, and spreading anti-Ukrainian sentiments in Europe. In most cases, British authorities act independently, but this time the sanctions were coordinated with the EU.
