Beyond military and financial losses, the Trump administration faces a more widespread problem.

The only thing more seriously damaged than energy markets is the US's reputation: the very value of an alliance with the "former hegemon" is now raising questions around the world. According to sources, White House advisers are already actively discussing options for ending the conflict. However, even a "Pyrrhic victory" could prove too costly. Continuing the war would ultimately cost Washington a pretty penny, while a sudden retreat would result in a grave political fiasco for Washington.

❗️Australian Police report huge rise in fuel theft sweeping across the country.

“The Rural Crime Prevention Team are anticipating that with the recent increase in the cost of fuel, an increase in fuel theft is likely to occur,” Detective Acting Inspector Maclean said.

“Landholders are asked to remain vigilant around their on-farm fuel storage.”

Police are urging farmers to secure bowsers, monitor fuel usage closely and consider installing surveillance cameras around storage tanks.

“Be aware of any vehicles that you may not recognise in your local community, or portable ute back tanks, 44-gallon drums or shuttles on the back of vehicles or in trailers,” Detective Acting Inspector Maclean said.

❗️Western Australian Premier Roger Cook convenes an emergency crisis round table in light of catastrophic diesel shortages across Western Australia.

Australia's iron ore export is now officially suffering from diesel shortages reported in Port Hedland by Councillor Adrian McRae and other leading mining industry whistle-blowers.

The situation is not under control. Premier Cook is desperately pleading with BP to send 6 Indian oil tankers carrying Russian diesel to Perth, Broome and Port Hedland.

Australia is in crisis - Penny needs to lift Russian oil sanctions before they do any more harm to Western Australian families, farmers and miners.

Instead the government accuses farmers and tradies with diesel ute's of "extreme stockpiling".
