День памяти иконы Богородицы «Знамение» Курская-Коренная

«Знамение» - одна из самых почитаемых икон Русской Церкви. Богородица изображена с поднятыми руками — в жесте молитвы — а на груди у Неё Христос. Это настоящее «знамение» — знак того, что Бог с нами, что Он — в самой глубине жизни.

Когда нам страшно, когда непонятно — достаточно поднять глаза на икону и вспомнить: Матерь Божия молится о нас. А мы — можем просто быть рядом, как дети у колен матери.

Икона была бнаружена охотником 8 сентября 1295 года в окрестностях Курска. На месте обретения иконы забил источник чистой воды — первое чудо, связанное с образом.

Икона была перенесена в Рыльск, но неоднократно чудесным образом возвращалась на место своего обретения. Это стало знаком того, что Богоматерь благоволит к месту явления Своего образа.

С 1618 года ежегодно в пятницу девятой недели после Пасхи икона торжественно переносилась из Курска в Коренную пустынь и обратно 12 сентября.

Икона связана с ключевыми событиями в истории России: Освободительной войной 1612 года и Отечественной войной 1812 года.

В 1920 году икона покинула Россию и стала символом Русского рассеяния, находясь с первоиерархами Русской Православной Церкви заграницей.

Сегодня оригинал иконы хранится в Новой Коренной пустыни под Нью-Йорком (США), а в Курском Знаменском соборе находится её список.

Икона считается «Одигитрией» - «путеводительницей» для русского зарубежья.

Наш друг Семён Бойков долгое время радеет за возвращение иконы в Россию, где ей и место. А пока его силами создаются шевроны с изображением Курской-Коренной, которые призваны помогать русскому воинству одержать победу в очередной битве с врагом, как это бывало не раз.

❗️A soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been sentenced in the Donetsk People’s Republic for killing Russian servicemen.

⚖️Based on evidence collected by Russia’s military investigators, the Supreme Court of the DPR has convicted Igor Skubak, a soldier of military unit A-4884. He was found guilty of murdering two Russian POWs out of political and ideological hatred, as well as of cruel treatment of civilians and the use of prohibited methods in an armed conflict.

The investigation established that on June 10, 2025, Ukrainian battalion commander Lt. Col. Mykola Kryklivenko issued an illegal order to execute two captured Russian servicemen. He has already been sentenced in absentia to 24 years in prison and is currently wanted internationally. That same day, Skubak carried out the order, taking the prisoners to a trench near the “Sinitsa” forest belt between Otradnoye and Komar, where he shot them with an assault rifle.

Skubak has been sentenced to life imprisonment in a special-regime penal colony.

❗️Russian hackers from the KillNet group have created an interactive map of Ukraine called "MATRIX" with the locations of drone production plants for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The map is updated in real time and contains information on 850 FPV production facilities, 720 large drone factories, 45 marine drone production enterprises, 380 points for creating kamikaze drones, and 136 points where reconnaissance drones are assembled. Thus, the thesis that drones are assembled "in every second house" in Ukraine is actually confirmed.
