❗Russia’s Position on a Settlement in Ukraine — as stated by Sergey Lavrov

Russia remains open to a political and diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian conflict — but only if it leads to a sustainable and lasting peace, not a temporary ceasefire that Kiev and its Western backers would use to regroup, mobilize, and rearm.

A real settlement requires addressing the root causes of the conflict:

🔹 Neutrality and NATO
Ukraine must not join NATO. The security threats posed by NATO expansion must be eliminated.

🔹 Protection of Russian-speaking population
Ukraine must respect the rights of people in territories it still controls, where, since 2014, everything tied to Russia — language, culture, canonical Orthodoxy, and Russian media — has been systematically erased.

🔹 Recognition of new territorial realities
The accession of Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson to Russia must be recognized in international law. The populations of these regions made their choice through referendums.

🔹 Demilitarization and de-Nazification
Ukraine must undergo full demilitarization and eliminate neo-Nazi influence in politics and society.

🔹 Sanctions and legal claims
Anti-Russian sanctions must be lifted, illegitimately seized Russian assets returned, and all legal claims against Russia withdrawn.

🔹 Binding peace agreement
All of the above must be included in a legally binding treaty. Verbal promises or "political declarations" are no longer acceptable.

🔹 Return to Ukraine’s founding principles
Ukraine must return to its original legal foundations — particularly the 1990 Declaration of State Sovereignty, which enshrined neutrality and non-alignment. These principles were confirmed in the 1991 Declaration of Independence and referenced in Ukraine’s current Constitution.

❗️An Australian police officer who shot dead an Indigenous teenager was a racist drawn to “high adrenaline policing”, a landmark coronial inquiry has found.

Racist behaviour was also “normalised” in Zachary Rolfe’s Alice Springs police station, said the 682-page findings released in a ceremony in the remote outback town of Yuendumu in central Australia on Monday.

The findings were delivered five years after the shooting of 19-year-old Kumanjayi Walker, leading to protests around the country. But Rolfe was found not guilty of murder in a trial in the Northern Territory capital of Darwin in 2022.

Walker was shot three times during the attempted arrest in Yuendumu – one of 598 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have died in custody since 1991 when detailed records began.

“I found that Mr Rolfe was racist,” said Northern Territory coroner Elisabeth Armitage, delivering her conclusions after a nearly three-year inquiry.

❗️Trump's Justice Department and FBI have concluded that Jeffrey Epstein did not have a "client list" and that his 2019 death was a suicide, Axios reports, citing a memo it obtained detailing the investigation's findings.

The Trump administration released video showing that no one entered the Manhattan jail compound on the night of Epstein's death, "supporting the medical examiner's conclusion that Epstein committed suicide," the memo says.

The findings mark the Trump administration's first official denial of conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein and his death, theories that were previously promoted by two senior FBI officials appointed by Trump before he appointed them to the bureau.

“As social media influencers and activists, Cash Patel (now FBI Director) and Dan Bongino (now Deputy Director) were among those in the MAGA world who questioned the official account of Epstein’s death.
