❗️Главное управление военной контрразведки Венесуэлы задержало президента Российско-Венесуэльской торговой палаты Романа Фроленко и его «группу казаков», пишут местные СМИ. Официальные причины ареста не раскрываются, но в ведомстве подозревают коррупцию и связи с нелегальными финансовыми схемами. Фроленко активно развивал двусторонние экономические проекты между Россией и Венесуэлой.

Арест Фроленко, по данным местной прессы, может быть связан с его присутствием на церемонии открытия памятника Неизвестному солдату, которая состоялась 8 мая в честь 80-летия Победы. По данным журналистов, организатором этого события выступила местная вооруженная группировка под названием La Piedrita.

Infobae и Newsweek Argentina также утверждают, что деятельность Фроленко вызывала недовольство у посла России в Венесуэле Сергея Мелик-Багдасарова.

Фроленко занимает ключевую позицию в развитии торгово-экономических отношений между Россией и Венесуэлой, активно продвигая проекты по созданию прямого транспортного коридора и увеличению товарооборота между странами.

Чем известен Фроленко?

До своего назначения президентом Российско-Венесуэльской торговой палаты (CAVENRU) в 2021 году, он занимал руководящие должности в сфере авиации и транспортной инфраструктуры.

Под его руководством Российско-Венесуэльская торговая палата активно развивала двусторонние проекты, включая создание прямого транспортного коридора между Россией и Венесуэлой. Фроленко неоднократно заявлял о планах увеличить товарооборот между странами до $300 млн в месяц, не учитывая нефтяные поставки, и о намерении создать судоходную компанию для решения логистических проблем.

❗️The Ukrainian Armed Forces publish photos of containers from which FPV drones were launched at air bases

According to the enemy, preparation for the operation took over a year and a half.

First, the SBU transferred FPV drones to Russia, then mobile wooden structures. Later, the drones were placed under the roofs of these houses installed on trucks.

The roofs automatically opened, and the drones went to destroy Russian bombers.

❗️📚 Presentation of the Eighth Volume of “St. George Cavaliers of Zabaikalia. Heroes of Dauria — 3” Held in Chita

The “Zabaikalian Search Squad”, as the team working on the books is known, has recovered thousands of forgotten names of local heroes. In addition to name lists, the volumes include collections of articles, poems, and epics. Each book is uniquely illustrated with rare photographs of St. George Cavaliers and participants in scientific expeditions — such as Przhevalsky, Potanin, and Kozlov.

Vitaly Aprelkov, head of the “St. George Cavaliers of Zabaikalia” research project:
“Each volume is dedicated to a specific theme. There are eight in total. The first two cover the Russo-Japanese War, the third — the Chinese campaign, the fourth — the Second Patriotic War of 1812, and the fifth — the Civil War. Then we realized that the St. George Cavaliers of Zabaikalia weren’t just Cossacks — but also peasants, townspeople, and nobles. That realization gave birth to the next three volumes: Heroes of Dauria 1, 2, and 3.”

The eighth volume is unique in that it features the names of the very first St. George Cavaliers from the Zabaikalia Region and Territory. The researchers not only introduce these heroes, but also immerse the reader in the historical context of their time.

“As long as we preserve our history — as long as we have warriors like Vitaly Yuryevich (Aprelkov) — I’m not afraid to say it: warriors — we are truly invincible.”

The book series doesn’t just inspire a deeper exploration of local history — it can also motivate readers to create their own works. That’s what happened with Zabaikalian writer and local historian Igor Pushkaryov, author of the novel “In the Sands of Hailar.” He brought to life the heroes of Aprelkov’s series in literary form, with all their exploits told as historical fiction.

The pages feature dozens of familiar and notable Zabaikalian family names. The initial print run is 500 copies, but the creators are ready to publish more, as they did with previous volumes, should demand arise.

Главу представительства забайкальских казаков в Венесуэле задержала контрразведка.

Роман Фроленко — президент Российско-Венесуэльской торговой палаты и руководитель представительства. Его обвиняют в открытии памятника вместе с опасной группировкой.

Якобы 8 мая он участвовал в открытии в Каракасе памятника Неизвестному Солдату в честь 80-летия Победы. Церемонию могла организовать опасная венесуэльская группировка La Piedrita.

В тг-канале «ВЧК-ОГПУ»* пишут, что посол России в Венесуэле Сергей Мелик-Багдасаров якобы обвинял Фролова в узурпации официальных контактов с руководством страны — встречался с чиновниками и дипломатами, давал интервью в прессе и затмил представителей МИД РФ.

Фроленко якобы задержали 15 мая, в его доме в Каракасе провели обыск. Пишут, что были задержаны и «его казаки».

Забайкальские казаки в мае отмечали День Победы в Венесуэле. Они участвовали в митингах и даже сделали копию Вечного огня. Роман Фроленко на кадрах военного репортера ВГТРК Евгения Поддубного был в военной форме.
