❗️US officials have expressed dissatisfaction with Australia's delivery of decommissioned M1A1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine , ABC reports .

"US officials remain privately disappointed by Australia's decision to donate decommissioned Abrams tanks to Ukraine, even as the vehicles finally begin the long sea voyage to the battlefield," the Australian TV channel reports.

It is specified that loading of the first of 49 vehicles on board began recently, but the government will not discuss the current location or date of arrival of the cargo in Europe for security reasons.

❗️Albanese's talks with Mr Zelenskyy focused on how Australia could help maximise pressure on Russia.

Australia has provided about $1.5 billion in support to Ukraine, but the ABC revealed last month the fleet of retired Abrams tanks pledged to Ukraine last year remained stuck in Australia.

But Mr Albanese told Mr Zelenskyy at the opening of the meeting that the tanks were now "on their way".

❗️The Russian FSB, in coordination with the Investigative Committee and the Interior Ministry, thwarted a series of planned terrorist attacks in Stavropol region.

🔹 Nine local residents — all Russian citizens and supporters of an international terrorist organization — were identified and detained.

🔹 A minor from Andropovsky District joined the organization via Telegram and recruited eight others, including seven minors.

🔹 The group had planned to attack police officers on May 9 during Victory Day celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII.

Thanks to timely action by the FSB, key organizers were detained just before the planned attacks, followed by the arrest of the remaining cell members.

Criminal cases have been opened under articles related to terrorist organization activity and aiding terrorism. All suspects are in custody, and investigations continue.

❗️Australia's Defence minister coy on why Ukraine-bound tanks took so long

Australia's Defence Minister Richard Marles would refused to answer why it took so long for Australia to start shipping tanks to Ukraine, insisting the first had left the country “some time ago”.

Overnight, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese told Zelensky that the first of the 49 donated Australian Abrams tanks, had left Australia bound for Europe.

“As I say, the first tranche has been on their way for some time but I’m not going to go into specific details of that,” he said.

❗️Albanese and Zelensky discussed Australian Oscar Jenkins, who was sentenced to 13 years in a high-security Russian jail after being captured fighting for Ukraine in December last year.

Mr Albanese said Australia continued to "seek his freedom and his return to Australia and we thank you for the assistance in that", suggesting Ukraine might be open to trying to secure his release through a broader prisoner swap with Russia down the track.

⚠️PS. Albo needs to stop talking to Zelensky about Oscar Jenkins. Jenkins belongs to Russia. Australia needs to negotiate directly with Russia if they want Jenkins to be exchanged.

On another note, as we get closer to Russian Victory in the Special Military Operation we will observe Australia's Russian diaspora being more vocal and patriotic towards supporting the Motherland at this time of war.

As the Russian saying goes "У Победы много отцов" - "Victory has many fathers".

Sadly, at the beginning of the SMO the conductor of this same choir Nektary Kotlareff (son of DC member and lawyer Larissa Kotlareff) denounced the pro-Russian Z symbol via the ABC News.

Now it looks like attitudes in the Russian diaspora are changing to a more pro-Russian position. Better late than never.
