Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in boosting a nation's economy by fostering innovation and creating job opportunities. However, in Ethiopia, entrepreneurial activity is notably low, with only 10% of the population running established businesses, contributing to a high youth unemployment rate. Addis Ababa, in particular, faces the highest youth unemployment rate in the country at 30%, significantly exceeding the global average of 15.6% in 2021. This lack of job opportunities has led to widespread dissatisfaction among Ethiopian youth.
This research aims to assess the factors that are hindering youth in Addis Ababa from becoming entrepreneurs. Please contribute to this historic research by filling out this questionnaire. Thank you!
