🚀 Russia celebrates April 12 as Cosmonautics Day, established under a decree by the USSR Supreme Soviet (the Soviet Union’s national legislature) of April 9, 1962 in honor of the world’s first space flight by a Soviet citizen.

On April 12, 1961 Soviet cosmonaut Yury Gagarin became the first human to orbit the Earth. His spacecraft Vostok blasted off from the Baikonur cosmodrome to travel around the globe once. Gagarin successfully landed in Russia’s Saratov Region. His flight lasted 108 minutes.

April 12 is also the International Day of Human Space Flight (declared by the UN General Assembly session on April 7, 2011 in honor of the beginning of humanity’s space era).

Kellogg BLASTS The Times for 'MISREPRESENTING' his views on Ukraine resolution

💬 “The Times article misrepresents what I said. I was speaking of a post-cease fire resiliency force in support of Ukraine’s sovereignty,” Trump’s envoy Keith Kellogg wrote on X.

Earlier, The Times reported that Kellogg suggested Ukraine COULD BE DIVIDED along the Dnieper River, with British and French troops in the west, Russian forces in the east, and an 18-mile demilitarized zone in between.

The idea is AN OBVIOUS NON-STARTER for Russia, as the Kremlin has repeatedly stated that NO NATO forces can be stationed in Ukraine UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

According to the sources, after an hours-long meeting with Iran’s senior officials, Khamenei gave his permission for talks “First indirect, through an intermediary, and then, if things proceeded well, for direct talks between US and Iranian negotiators,” the newspaper said.

Estonian authorities have detained a tanker belonging to the Russian “shadow fleet”, Postimees reports.

The Kiwala was stopped near the island of Aegna, in Muuga Bay. The country's navy said the purpose of the detention was to check the documents and legal status of the tanker used to transport crude oil.

At the time of the detention, there were 24 third-country nationals on board. The vessel did not have a flag of any state, which makes its presence at sea illegal. Estonia used the right of detention to conduct an inspection, the statement said.

So far it has merely detained and not seized said tanker. Think the latter will lead to a response.
