▪️Russian troops liberated four communities in the Kursk and Sumy Regions and the Donetsk People’s Republic

▪️Russia’s air defenses shot down 1,200 Ukrainian drones in the past week

▪️Russian forces delivered eight strikes by precision weapons and attack unmanned aerial vehicles, hitting Ukrainian military airfields and defense enterprises

▪️Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicted over 1,585 casualties on the Ukrainian army

▪️The Ukrainian army lost over 1,060 military personnel and five armored combat vehicles in Russia’s Battlegroup East’s responsibility area 

▪️Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted over 2,345 casualties on the Ukrainian army

▪️Russia's Battlegroup South defeated 10 Ukrainian formations over the past week

▪️Ukraine lost over 3,000 military personnel in Russia’s Battlegroup Center’s responsibility area

"The age of great democracies is over, the era of great powers has arrived": Italy's defense minister says the world will never go back to the way it was.

"The age of great democracies is over, and will be replaced by the age of great powers," said Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto.

In announcing his forecast for the coming years, the head of the defense department expressed the opinion that “in the future, wealth, population size, military power of countries and the amount of available raw materials will matter.”

The minister also shared his opinion on how the conflict in Ukraine will end: "I am afraid that this will be one of those cases where the term "peace" will not coincide with the term "stability" and "security". Let's get used to what was the norm during the Cold War. I am afraid that this time it will be important to achieve peace, but it will not be a peace that will return us to the calm we were accustomed to three years ago. And so we will need to create conditions for the situation to improve on a weekly basis."
