APT is not supported on Ubuntu Touch. Individual apps are updated via the Open Store or System Settings as the developers publish new updates. The OS is updated via the System Settings. OTA 8 is currently the latest update on the Stable channel. Whenever a new OTA is released it will be announced in the News Channel.

Before starting the installation on smartphones, I have read all the official Ubuntu touch sites and I got knowledge and what I need to do, but when I started the installation on a Galaxy C7 everything went fine, on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro however, things were very, very difficult, finally after many difficulties and a lot of searching on the internet I managed to install them. and while the UBports Installer showed me 20.04 stable after the installation the phone had 16.04 I don't know how this happened. And again by searching on the internet in ubuntu groups I managed to upgrade it to 20.04,,but again I have my fears that maybe something is not working properly, when I put a SIM card in it it doesn't see it at all, a lot of searching. Finally ok now VoLTE doesn't work ha ha ha, a lot of searching Thank you all very much for the help I have received from you P.S. And I have no programming knowledge at all,
