I’m checking the morning news, and everyone’s writing that various famous NFT collections are jumping into Telegram. They’ve just decided to dive in with both feet. All at once. And they all decided to buy a Pepe. And the channels got named like this:

Why am I bringing this up? Doesn’t it strike you as odd that it’s all so cookie-cutter? Do such coincidences happen? To recap: they jumped in around the same time, named their channels similarly, and bought a Pepe. Feels like someone nudged them into this move. Kind of like Snoop Dogg, who doesn’t need his channel anyway.
Most likely, Telegram has a new communications department handling ties with celebrities, streamers, and famous crypto projects. I even think the same person created all the channels for them and tossed each a Pepe. All the projects had to do was say, “Yes, it’s us, official!” and claim their share for participating in this ad integration.

There are no rare gifts left on the primary market, which means we’re expecting new gifts, likely with a massive supply to last for a while.
Meanwhile, Telegram’s administration is considering restrictions on gift sales to bots. There are a few ideas on how this might be implemented:
1. Captcha. Bots can bypass this, but it might slightly slow down the rate at which they suck up the supply.
2. Limiting the number of gifts per account. Come on, this is Telegram, where the main population is bots. You’d hold a damn giveaway here, and 100k bots would swarm in instantly. For gift purchases, they’ll create as many accounts as needed.
3. Dutch auction. Similar to gift upgrades, a time-based pricing scale could be introduced for sales. For example, a gift with a large supply might start at 25,000 stars, with the price halving every hour until it hits a minimum value or the supply runs out.
I’m leaning toward the third option being implemented. True, this would heavily screw over people who’ve loaded tons of stars into auto-buying bots. But maybe it’s the only way to stop this madness.

Got scammed today on a sword. What a terrible turn of events! I decided not to hand over the swords I sold for 3 TON on the premarket, but since Tonnel hasn’t come up with a decent mechanism to cancel deals, I had to transfer them to another account. That account wasn’t used for trading, so my first move was to save the Relayer bot to avoid accidentally sending the gift to a scammer. I copied the bot’s username from my main account, pasted it into the search on the other one, and saved the bot that Telegram suggested first as a contact. 😂
Of course, it turned out to be a fake bot. Despite entering the correct username, the top result was a bogus one. The funniest part is why Telegram showed me that account. Turns out, I had a chat with someone there. It’s one of our subscribers who sent me news about Memhash. Probably saw how brazenly Memhash scammed people and decided to try scamming himself.
I can only imagine how many people fall for this kind of mistake if even I got caught.

New gifts have been added to the Telegram test server. Interestingly, the current versions of the messenger don’t yet support these gifts, suggesting they’re testing some new types of gifts. If something new comes out of this, our celebration will continue, and the market will keep growing.
