Turkish tea philosophy

A glass of tea symbolizes one family.
Çaydanlık (teapot) symbolizes mother-in-law and gelin.
The lower Çaydanlık represents the mother-in-law, and the upper çaydanlık is gelin. The more tempered by the mother-in-law, the expert gelin will become.
The tea glass symbolizes gelin's husband, it is filled by her mother-in-law and gelin (yes the tea glass is filled with tea from the upper çaydanlık and water from the lower çaydanlık).
Children are the sugar, providing sweetness.
The tea spoon represents the görümce (husband's sister), they sometimes come to the gelin's house to pester and then leave again.
The tea saucer (coaster) represents the father-in-law. He sat watching and accommodated the "spillover" behavior of other family members.

Gelinin kocasıda bardaktır biraz kaynana doldurur biraz de gelin.
Çocuklar çayın şekeridir tat verir.
Görümcese çay kaşığıdır arada bir gelir karıstırıp gider.
Kayınpederi gelince o da çay tabağıdır. Çayın demine suyuna karışmaz, bir kenarda oturur. Sadece dökülenleri toplar ve çevreye zarar vermesine engeller. Ancak arasıra boşaltılması gerekir. Yoksa taşıp herşeyi berbat edebilir.
Kısaca bir bardak çay bir ailedir.
