Hi all, looking to build an online shop in telegram and completely new to any type of coding. Can you point me in the right direction to start reading and learning please. I’m not looking for anyone to do this for me it’s merely a project I want to take on and understand what I’m doing any pointers much appreciated no matter how small, gotta be baby steps anyway 😂 I learn very much by doing and seeing it done an academic I am not. Anyway fingers crossed and thanks for taking the time to read my wishlist 😊

Explain difference between developers and non developers
to all those madafaka c suite employees
The value I provide now is engineering and designing, not writing the actual code... but also give it another little while and AI will probably be doing that too

This is just my opinion, doesnt mean im right: I think at this point in time you dont really have to know the ins and outs of a language or framework. AI can and will do all of the coding for you.
But if you let the AI design/engineer the system thats where you get a horrible spaghetti project that cant be maintained and you'd pretty much have to just recreate it correctly
How easy would it be to build an online e-commerce store with Medusa open source

I still get clients that want me to build them an app in the big 2026...
And honestly I do it 99% with AI, but I think the reason people still pay is because they dont want to spend the time, and because they can pay someone who knows how to actually design a system and instruct an AI

It seems very reasonable and meaningful
If you're good enough it's pretty common people would recommend you
Whatever newbies tell, no machines can actually replace skilled developers. LLM can replace juniors instead
I got my first programming job while being outsourced IT for a software company... I built a couple of apps that are relevant to them and the work they do, and recorded a demo video and sent it to them. Of course it helped that they knew and trusted me since I had done IT for them.
I have my own software and IT company now, and 100% of all of my clients come via referrals. Someone I knew previously in my career that knows and trusts me recommended me for IT and/or Software dev to someone else they know and made the introduction
Find out from friends/family what their company does, what they struggle with and see what software solution you could come up with for them. This is just my personal experience, but I also find that clients are more prone to saying yes when you give them a flat fee for the project, because you can't take them for a ride as easily.
Probably lots of people here will disagree with this - but don't be afraid to spend a night or two building a demo of the app you want to sell them and record a video of how it could help them... This is how I got my last two software clients that were on the fence. Show what value it can provide and most business owners will buy...
aha, and then ai-first jesters fall over question about tuples and default values

the question is not about being out dated or being in use
question is , is this important
do you think this is important in the era of fable 5 and opus 5

I know python very well, and have used it for 15 or so years professionally, but i straight up haven't written a line of code since GPT 5.6 Sol released...

I think it would be really hard if one does not have sufficient coding experience

Like my last software client, he is a pharmacy owner and spent nights and weekends for 4-5 months trying to build out the app he needed - without a working result, so he paid me 15k to build it for him in 30 days
