💡 What can you find on DefiLlama: Multichain projects supporting TON

Back in the summer, we covered DefiLlama, an aggregator website that provides data on various DeFi services. Every year, more TON projects are added to its database. Currently, there are over 50 listed, so we decided to take a closer look: are there any interesting entries we’ve previously overlooked?

Some projects are already well-known, such as TonStakers, DeDust.io, or EVAA. There are newer ones like syde.fi (a finalist in the winter Hackers League Hackathon), which has already been mentioned in The Daily TON. However, the least familiar to the TON community are multichain projects — those where TON is just one of the supported networks. That’s what we’re focusing on today:

⚫️ Bridgers and Symbiosis allow decentralized cross-chain swaps, enabling users to exchange Toncoin for tokens in other networks. Symbiosis currently offers limited TON support: when selecting it as the sending blockchain, the service only provided Ethereum and BNB as receiving networks. Bridgers, however, offers more options. For instance, if you need TRX on Tron Blockchain, you can exchange it for TON via Bridgers.

⚫️ NTM.ai (New Token Market) aggregates data on tokens across various blockchains. On first glance, it didn’t leave a strong impression. Established platforms like DexScreener and CoinGecko are already widely popular, and within the TON ecosystem, DYOR.io provides similar functionality. It’s unclear what unique value NTM brings to the table.

⚫️ Satori is a platform for trading perpetual futures. Within TON, you may have definitely heard of Storm Trade — think of Satori as a similar service, but one that supports wallets from multiple blockchains, not just TON. As always, we caution that trading, especially with leverage, is risky and can lead to significant losses.

⚫️ Cygnus Finance lets users connect a TON or EVM wallet, deposit funds in a popular stablecoin (in the case of TON it will be USDt), and receive the platform’s own stablecoin, cgUSDT, along with passive income on the deposited funds. However, note that while tokens from TON staking platforms (like tsTON or stTON) can typically be swapped on a DEX, cgUSDT cannot currently be exchanged.

Do you know of any interesting multichain projects supporting TON that aren’t yet listed on DefiLlama but should be? Feel free to share them in the comments.

🪙 Around the world with The Daily TON: Exploring the asian TON community

In 2024, an increasing number of TON ecosystem updates came from Asia — for instance, TON was listed on the major Korean exchange Bithumb. However, for those outside the local community, Asian projects can often go unnoticed. That’s why we decided to dedicate a post to them:

⚫️ The game Catizen is probably well-known to everyone. So, at The Gateway, the team announced plans to expand into a full-fledged GameFi ecosystem, which already includes their newer projects Bombie and Vanilla Finance. Recently, another project, Cattea, joined them.

⚫️ There’re plenty of other games: Yescoin and PiggyPiggy are quite popular, while To the MOO is a newer, smaller project. Interestingly, Tomarket started as a TON-based project but switched to the Aptos blockchain just before its airdrop.

⚫️ There are also DeFi protocols like Torch Finance for stable swaps and Utonic for restaking. On the practical side, TonGifts Bot is inspired by WeChat’s gift feature, allowing users to send Toncoin with elegant envelopes.

⚫️ Infrastructure projects may not be visible to everyday users, as they operate «under the hood» of other products, but they’re just as important. For example, when DOGS conducted an airdrop, they used the TokenTable service. Meanwhile, TONX positions itself as «a SuperApp platform layer that enables builders to create the new Web3 economy.»

⚫️ Some projects originated outside TON or Telegram but now support our ecosystem, including hardware wallets like SafePal and the game engine Cocos.

⚫️ And that’s not all! James Junmo Kwon from Delabs Games noted at The Gateway that Asian messengers (WeChat, Line, KakaoTalk) have evolved from simple casual games to more advanced midcore titles. In 2025, he plans to bring midcore games, including an RPG set in the Ragnarok universe, to Telegram and TON.

⚫️ In addition to projects, there are plenty of local activities, such as events, channels, and chats. What if you want to explore these but feel intimidated by the language barrier? With Telegram Premium’s auto-translate feature, you can read channels without knowing the language — examples include @alphaton, @Tonnypowerbewithyou, @SighToNews, and @fomojet. Meanwhile, the @TONSocietySouthEastAsia chat operates in English, as it covers not just one country, but the entire Southeast Asia region.

But we’ll save the topic of communities for another time…

📡 How does JetTon support its token, and what will be covered in tomorrow’s AMA?

⚫️ Notably, throughout 2024, the team bought back and burned $JETTON tokens worth a total of 147,638 TON (~$800,000). As part of their new burning program, 11,780,787 $JETTON were sent to a zero address. Why is this necessary? We explain the purpose in our post about token burning.

⚫️ Major boosts and farming programs totaling 2.4M $JETTON were launched on the ecosystem's main DEX platforms. In the fall, the token was also listed on the centralized exchange ByBit under the Dex Pro section. Additionally, the project participated in the TON Tournament campaign and six seasons of The Open League, securing prize positions three times.

⚫️ These efforts significantly increased the number of token holders, with $JETTON hitting both its historical high and low points. Let’s not forget the launch of the JetTonFarmingBot, which boasts an audience of 8,000,000 users. Recently, this bot introduced NFTs that allow users to convert JetPoints into $JETTON.

⚫️ Now, ahead of the New Year, the JetTonFarmingBot and $JETTON teams are hosting a joint AMA-session to discuss more achievements, share plans for 2025, and answer user questions (which can be submitted in the comments under the announcement post).

🖊 The livestream will begin on December 26 at 15:00 UTC on the JETTON Token RU channel (in Russian).

🚀 How tokens are sent to millions: TON Blog describes the evolution of airdrops

⚫️ In 2024, large-scale airdrops became a true stress test for the network. Distributing rewards to 10 million wallets is a record not just for TON but for the entire crypto industry, leading many to wonder if the blockchain could handle such a load.

⚫️ We previously covered the new jetton standard developed specifically for Hamster Kombat, as well as the token’s listing results. Now, a detailed article explaining the technical approach to mass distributions was published on TON Blog. Here’s a summary of the key points:

⚫️ Before the spring Notcoin airdrop, TON had no technical solutions for such massive distributions. To address this, the Mass Sender service was developed, which is now used by other projects. It allows the distribution speed to be adjusted both automatically and manually to avoid network overload. Additionally, the airdrop organizer must cover the transaction fees for all millions of transfers, although they can deduct a certain amount from each user’s reward to offset the costs.

⚫️ In the summer, the DOGS project used a different service, TokenTable, originally designed for EVM networks. Unlike Mass Sender, TokenTable doesn’t send rewards to everyone on a list but allows users to claim their rewards themselves. The user initiates the transaction and pays the fee.

⚫️ During the $DOGS airdrop, issues arose, including a temporary halt of the entire blockchain. As a result, the team switched to Mass Sender mid-distribution. These issues have since been resolved, and new projects can now safely use TokenTable as well.

⚫️ For the fall Hamster Kombat airdrop, a new token standard, Mintless Jettons, was created. This standard reduces network load and distribution costs but requires a complete list of recipients at the time of token creation. This method works only for users who provide their TON wallet addresses in advance. For those who join during the airdrop, another tool (such as GigaDrop for $HMSTR) is needed.

⚫️ The authors of the article concludes that TON has made significant progress over the past year: from having no technical solutions for airdrops to offering multiple options to suit different needs. And most importantly, the blockchain now handles heavy network loads with confidence.

💡 What is BTCfi and how does intersect with TON?

⚫️ This year, many platforms (such as CoinMarketCap Research and ByBit LEARN) have been discussing the rise of BTCfi (a combination of Bitcoin and DeFi). But why was this new term needed when no one says «TONfi» or «ETHfi»? What’s driving this growth, and how does this Bitcoin trend relate to the TON ecosystem? Let’s break it down.

⚫️ Bitcoin has a unique duality. On one hand, it’s the most successful cryptocurrency by market capitalization, breaking price records again this year. Bitcoin’s decade-long success has built a reputation for reliability, often making it the go-to asset for large investments, earning the nickname «digital gold.»

⚫️ On the other hand, the Bitcoin blockchain doesn’t support smart-contracts, limiting its use for tokens, NFTs, and DeFi services. Other cryptocurrencies have thrived in DeFi, enabling staking, collateralized loans, and yield generation. Bitcoin, however, is primarily «hodled.» Essentially, this «digital gold» sits idle like a bar in a vault, while other currencies «work» to generate value for their holders.

⚫️ The idea of integrating BTC into DeFi is highly appealing, prompting various projects to work around its technical limitations. Significant progress in recent years has led to the recognition of this phenomenon under the term BTCfi.

⚫️ Some projects focus on Bitcoin's limited on-chain capabilities (slightly expanded by the 2021 Taproot update). Others develop solutions «on top» of Bitcoin, such as BRC-20 inscriptions. A third approach involves «bridges,» which exchange BTC for wrapped versions (like WBTC) on other blockchains, enabling access to their DeFi services while still benefiting from Bitcoin’s price growth.

⚫️ While bridges have existed for a long time, they often require users to trust their operators. Hypothetically, funds transferred to another blockchain could be stolen, introducing risks and centralization. Bitcoin holders, who value Bitcoin for its reliability and decentralization, often find this approach less appealing.

⚫️ This is where TON Teleport BTC becomes intriguing. The upcoming project is positioned as «trustless,» meaning users don’t need to trust its creators. It enables the exchange of BTC for a specialized token, tgBTC (and vice versa), in an entirely automated process controlled solely by the validators of the Bitcoin and TON blockchains.

⚫️ This makes TON home to a promising BTCfi project. If successful, it could allow Bitcoin holders to safely access TON’s DeFi protocols while enabling existing TON users to benefit from Bitcoin’s price growth. Theoretically, this would drive user growth and liquidity across the entire TON ecosystem.

📈 2024 in numbers: How much has TON grown according to statistics?

This year has been eventful for TON: the introduction of USDt, a wave of clicker games, new projects (ranging from DeFi to SocialFi), the rise in Toncoin’s price... But how have these events impacted the ecosystem’s popularity? For example, did the users drawn in by the clicker hype leave when the buzz faded, or did they stay with TON? To answer this, we analyzed the newly released Dune dashboard and data from the TonStat website (key charts are shared in the comments). Here’s what we found:

⚫️ The right column of the dashboard certainly boasts impressive graphs (1), but the term «cumulative» means «total data,» so these graphs can never trend downward. The left column is more interesting, as it shows daily, not cumulative, transactions, revealing clear peaks and troughs.

⚫️ On this graph (2), the spikes during major airdrops stand out, with brief surges in transactions. However, the most important takeaway isn’t the peaks but the significant increase in typical daily transactions. A year ago, this figure was in the hundreds of thousands per day; now, it’s in the millions. While the airdrop buzz has subsided, the activity hasn’t reverted to previous levels.

⚫️ TonStat’s Accounts chart (3) shows growth from 4 million to a staggering 128 million over the year. However, context is crucial here. These «accounts» are not users but smart contracts. First, smart contracts are created for various reasons in TON — if a user holds 30 different Jettons in a non-custodial wallet, that results in 30 separate contracts on the blockchain. Second, these contracts are counted even if the wallet has been abandoned with no ongoing activity.

⚫️ To better understand the actual audience, it’s more useful to look at TonStat’s active wallets charts — both daily (4) and monthly (5). While these don’t precisely match the number of users (since one person can create multiple wallets), they’re much closer to the truth. Like the transaction data, these charts show spikes during airdrops and a general upward trend: a year ago, the monthly audience was 200K-300K wallets, whereas now it’s 6-7 million. However, the current trend for monthly activity is downward, indicating that further growth will require significant effort.

🖊 Two key takeaways emerge: On the one hand, TON has reached a new level over the past year — compared to today’s numbers, it’s as if nothing significant happened in 2023. There’s definitely something to celebrate this New Year. On the other hand, the figures are still far from the long-term goal of «engaging 500 million users in TON». The clicker phenomenon has faded, the associated growth has stalled, and there are no clear drivers of new growth on the horizon (memecoins haven’t filled that role). So, resting on laurels isn’t an option — TON still has a long and challenging journey ahead.

📒 New tools for working with TON data: How can the Dune analytics service help?

⚫️ Dune allows users to analyze data from over 75 blockchains, but until recently, TON was not included. Over a month ago, the platform announced support for the TON network, and today, the integration has officially gone live.

New databases are now available, including ton.transactions (data on all transactions), ton.jetton_metadata (information on all Jettons), ton.dex_trades (details on all DEX swaps), and more.

⚫️ With Dune, users can query blockchain data, create charts, and build dashboards. For example, a popular dashboard tracking OpenSea’s NFT marketplace activity clearly illustrates the NFT boom of 2021-2022, followed by a decline in hype while some level of activity persisted.

⚫️ For those new to such services, we’ve created a basic dashboard that uses simple examples to demonstrate two core features: retrieving specific data and building a chart based on it.

⚫️ The official announcement also highlights more advanced dashboards like the TON Overview Dashboard and Memelandia. These provide deeper insights into TON and showcase the full capabilities of Dune’s tools.

💡 The platform uses SQL, the standard language for working with databases, to handle queries. However, for users not ready to dive into programming, Dune features an AI assistant. Simply describe in English what you want to know, and the service will try to generate the corresponding SQL query for you.

💀 Transaction races on TON: How can you be scammed during a swap?

⚫️ It’s widely believed that MEV — Maximal Extractable Value (formerly known as Miner Extractable Value) — is impossible on TON. MEV is a mechanism where a validator is «bribed» by a user who pays a higher fee to prioritize their transaction before or after someone else’s.

⚫️ MEV is often used for advantages in arbitrage or liquidations, where one user wants to outrun another arbitrageur or liquidator. It’s also key in infamous «sandwich attacks», where a validator places one transaction before and another after a «victim transaction» — hence the name.

⚫️ On TON, transaction fees are fixed, and demand is regulated by sharding, so you can’t vary fees like in EVM-based systems. Variables like block.coinbase in Solidity (which passes the validator’s wallet address to pre-allocate payouts) are unavailable on TON. While it’s technically possible to cut a private deal with a validator, this is rare. The TON documentation mentions a future BUYGAS command, but details are scarce.

⚫️ When you perform an action via a standard wallet (v3, v4, or w5), it sends a message containing the transaction description. Preceding this message are 512 bits, which include a signature generated based on the message itself. As a result, no one — including the validator — can alter the transaction content (for example, to inject the «desired» validator address for a bribe), as doing so would invalidate the signature.

💡 This brings us to a new concept: the MEV wallet. The idea is to add a fragment at the beginning of the message that isn’t covered by the signature or its verification. This fragment allows a validator to insert their address. It’s placed at the start of the message so it can be read before the signature. For instance, in the screenshot (attached in the comments), the readable validator_reward_address isn’t included in the signed body of the wallet w5 message, so a validator could replace it.

⚫️ Unlike simply increasing transaction fees, this mechanism enables conditional payouts of «bribes» — for example, only if a transaction is financially advantageous. This can be checked when the validator processes the attack results, incentivizing them to optimize transaction placement for maximum profit.

⚫️ However, for such a wallet to work, validators would need to modify their software to automatically process transactions for these wallets, insert the desired address, and sort transactions to maximize their own benefit.

⚫️ What does this mean for the average user? There are still 1,001 ways for someone to outplay us. Many MEV mechanisms remain unrealized on TON, but each new method opens up opportunities for developers to outmaneuver everyday users during trading. How to protect yourself? Whenever possible, set a minimum slippage during swaps.

⚫️ Thanks to the team at The Open Dev Blog for preparing this material! If you’re interested in TON development or simply enjoy reading about blockchain’s technical nuances, follow their channel (note that posts are in Russian).

💡 Be the first to develop: What DeFi services does TON Blockchain need?

⚫️ It’s no secret that TON isn’t the only blockchain in the crypto world, and most financial tools appearing in our ecosystem have already been conceptualized and implemented in other networks. Share in the comments if this information came as a surprise to you.

⚫️ For newcomers to TON, liquid staking and lending protocols might seem unusual, but seasoned users will recognize similar projects before. And that’s perfectly fine — developers learn from others' mistakes, and new teams know which services to launch to be the first on TON.

⚫️ 2024 has undoubtedly been the year of Mini Apps and major airdrops, but what’s in store for 2025? Vlad Degen, DeFi Lead at TON Foundation, predicts that the coming year will be the year of DeFi. He encourages participants of the Hackers League Hackathon to create innovative projects and, during his talk at The Gateway 2024, highlighted several DeFi directions worth exploring. Let’s dive into them.

CDP Protocols (Collateralized Debt Position): These are any services that allow you to borrow one asset while using another as collateral. There are plenty of options for collateral: Toncoin, USDt, LP tokens, NFTs. Decentralized stablecoins, which we recently discussed in a separate post, also fall into this category.

Bridges: Bridges enable the use of assets from other blockchains in the TON ecosystem. Currently, everyone is eagerly awaiting the launch of TON Teleport BTC, which will allow users to exchange BTC on the Bitcoin network for tgBTC on TON. This technology could pave the way for bridges connecting to other networks in the future. Learn more here.

Yield Farming:
This refers to any services that enhance yield by leveraging one or more protocols within the TON ecosystem. For example, reinvesting boosts or margin farming. But most importantly, these services need to offer user-friendly interfaces with one-click investment options — without that, the vision of «DeFi in every pocket» will remain out of reach.

Additionally, pay attention to these in-demand technologies: Yield Tokenization — tokenizing the yield from invested assets, Derivatives — contracts that allow you to profit without owning the underlying assets, Synthetics — the simulation of other assets or financial instruments.

⚫️ All of these directions are still in their early stages within the TON ecosystem. So, if you’re considering developing a new DeFi protocol, one of these areas could be a great place to start.

🪙 Not just «multipliers»: How else are cryptocurrencies used around the world?

⚫️ Cryptocurrencies are often viewed as speculative assets — a way to «buy low and sell high.» However, there are many other practical use cases around the world. Following the recent registration of TON DLT Foundation in Abu Dhabi, we decided to highlight examples of cryptocurrency usage specific to different countries:

⚫️ In countries with high inflation, such as Turkey, Argentina, or Nigeria, money can lose value quickly. In these cases, people turn to stablecoins to protect their savings — not to «make money on crypto,» but «to avoid losing what they’ve earned outside of crypto».

⚫️ Online banking isn’t accessible to everyone. For example, in Kenya, many people don’t even own smartphones. Instead, they use M-PESA, a payment system for feature phones. Today, crypto wallets like Sorted, which has announced support for TON, are also becoming available for such devices.

⚫️ For migrant workers, for example, someone who moves from India to the UAE for work, cryptocurrency can be the easiest way to send money back to their families.

⚫️ Sometimes, it works the other way around: a wealthy individual in India might send a crypto transaction to Dubai to invest in real estate there, as some properties can now be purchased with cryptocurrency.

⚫️ In Europe, people can order a special Visa card linked to a crypto wallet containing Toncoin and use it for payments in regular stores. Typically, these «crypto cards» convert funds into fiat currency automatically during the transaction.

⚫️ El Salvador has gone a step further, recognizing Bitcoin as an official currency. There, no conversion between currencies is needed for purchases.

⚫️ Of course, these processes aren’t always seamless — regulatory, technical, or economic challenges often arise. However, these examples highlight the diverse ways cryptocurrencies (including TON) can be used, far beyond the single goal of «becoming a millionaire.»

Share in the comments if you know other real-world use cases for cryptocurrencies.

🍌 Not a scam, but just as painful: Other ways you can lose your funds

Previously, we’ve discussed common types of crypto scams. Recently, however, a situation gained attention that wasn’t technically fraud, but the user still ended up losing his funds. To help you stay vigilant, we’re breaking down similar scenarios where users can lose money despite no laws being broken.

⚫️ So, what happened? When a user was purchasing an NFT, a seller suddenly increased the price of one of the items. The marketplace still displayed the old price, so the buyer confirmed the transaction without noticing that the new price — equal to his entire TON wallet balance — was now in effect. Technically, the seller didn’t violate any rules since changing the price is a legitimate option, and the buyer approved the transaction with the updated price. However, the seller took advantage of the buyer’s inattention. Reminder: Always double-check the detailed transaction description in your wallet app before confirming it.

⚫️ It appears the seller used a bot to monitor the buyer’s activity and automatically adjust the price at the right moment. This tactic is reminiscent of MEV-bots, which we recently covered, that act preemptively to profit. When dealing with slippage — where the transaction price may differ from the expected price (e.g., during token swaps on DEXs) — a bot could theoretically manipulate the price against your favor. Remember, slippage tolerance is often adjustable, so you can limit the acceptable price variation for your trade. If the price shifts beyond your set limit, the transaction won’t go through.

⚫️ Another high-profile incident. A user on the concentrated liquidity exchange TONCO added liquidity to a trading pair that previously had almost no funds, contributing only one of the tokens in the pair. Minutes later, he discovered that all the funds he’d added were swapped into the other token of the pair at a highly unfavorable rate. Upon investigation, it turned out that the exchange’s algorithms were working as intended — prices in such cases can deviate significantly from the market rate. Lesson: Be cautious when operating with low-liquidity trading pairs.

⚫️ «De-Pegging». While this hasn’t happened on TON yet, let’s learn from the infamous story of TerraUSD, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar using algorithmic methods. In 2022, these methods proved insufficient, and the token lost its dollar peg (a «de-peg»). Panic selling ensued, the price collapsed entirely, and holders lost their funds. Today, most stablecoins are backed by collateral rather than relying solely on algorithms, which reduces but doesn’t eliminate the risk of de-pegging. Even stablecoins, which seem safer than volatile cryptocurrencies, carry some risk of losing value.

🖊 In general, always exercise caution and stay informed: in crypto, there are countless ways to lose money, and outright scams are just one of them.

📒 Services for managing Telegram Stars

⚫️ With the growing buzz around gifts and the launch of the Sticker Store, we decided to remind you about some popular services that let you interact with Stars and purchase other Telegram products.

1. Fragment.com — The go-to platform for buying Telegram Usernames, Anonymous Numbers, Premium, and Stars. Recently, it introduced KYC requirements, prompting many users to explore alternative options.

2. Split.tg — A popular service for purchasing Telegram Premium and Stars, which has earned a loyal user base and attracted a significant share of Fragment’s users. The service charges a 2% fee, and purchases can be made not only in TON but also in USDt, $NOT, $DOGS, $BOLT, and $DFC.

3. FragMem — A Mini App by the Not Meme team that allows you to buy Telegram Stars without going through KYC. The service has no fees, but you can set one manually for your referrals. Future updates promise the ability to farm $KYC coins.

4. @xRocket and @CryptoBot — These bots let you send Telegram Stars directly in chats using special commands. For xRocket, you need to type +fire/+send after adding the bot to the respective chat. For CryptoBot, simply type @send [amount] stars and select the coin for payment.

5. StarSwap — A new Mini App where you can exchange Telegram Stars for USDt at a fixed rate (less favorable than on Fragment). The main advantage is the lack of KYC and instant fund transfers without the 21-day waiting period.

6. TonnelGift (hacked, do not use) — An automated marketplace for Telegram gifts developed by the Tonnel Network team. It’s a great option for trading unique collectibles without the hassle of OTC or guarantors.

⚫️ Please note that most of the services listed are created by independent teams and enthusiasts within the TON ecosystem. Always review the terms of use, fees, and transaction details before proceeding.

⚫️ Flexible push notification settings have been introduced. Users can select up to three wallets to receive alerts for transactions and other activities.

⚫️ The day after the update’s release, the developers launched a much-anticipated feature: $MY token staking. The program is available directly within the app, offering rewards in the form of reduced trading fees (from 5% to 100%).

🖊 Important: Before using the new features, make sure to update the app to the latest version. If you’ve never tried MyTonWallet but are looking to make some changes in the New Year, this non-custodial TON wallet is a great place to start.

Let us know which new feature you personally find the most useful.

⌨️ The Holiday TON: Highlights of the week

🔥 TON Society distributed $1,500,000 to user wallets as part of The Open League New Year Airdrop. The largest reward of $1,000 was given to 551 participants. Сongratulations!

⚫️ The TON blog has published an article (with memes) about how large-scale token airdrops were conducted and the technical solutions developed for them. We’ve summarized it (without the memes) in our post.

⚫️ In 2025, TON could reach new heights or face significant challenges. To prepare, we turned to the advice shared by Jehan Chu at The Gateway conference.

⚫️ The gaming platform JetTon held an AMA session where the team highlighted key achievements from 2024 and shared their plans for the future. The outcomes are detailed here.

⚫️ Developers from Tonnel Network announced the first two-factor authentication plugin for W5 wallets on TON. The presentation of the technology was anything but conventional — read how it unfolded.

⚫️ We explored Asian TON communities to uncover fascinating projects you might not have known about. Games, DeFi protocols, and much more are covered in our feature.

⚫️ BOLT Foundation, together with JVault, launched a campaign to collect $BOLT tokens for liquidity pool boost in BOLT/TON pair for the entire 2025. Participants can earn SBTs in one of five designs.

⚫️ The decentralized exchange DeDust.io updated several interface elements, making it even more user-friendly and adding useful information, including details about its native token $DUST.

⭐️ Grab your $BOLT and bring support: How to earn an SBT in JVault’s campaign

⚫️ The current state of memecoins on TON Blockchain is mixed. Some struggle to raise funds on memepads. Others, once stars of TON Memlandia, have faded from view after the competition. Some are barely hanging on, reminiscing about the spring of 2024. And then there’s $BOLT.

⚫️ Looking at the token’s price dynamics, you wouldn’t say it’s doing much better than others. However, $BOLT’s true strength lies elsewhere — in the active community of TON veterans that has rallied around it, making it a standout memecoin.

⚫️ For instance, during one contest, holders organized a flash mob, boosting the prize pool from the initial 300 $BOLT to 77,400 $BOLT. Recently, major players entered the game: Nick, founder of DeDust.io, and RocketMan, founder of @xRocket, collectively burned 275,000 $BOLT, temporarily pumping the token’s price by 2.5x.

⚫️ So, what’s the campaign that BOLT Foundation and staking platform JVault have launched? It’s simple: donate your $BOLT tokens to boltfoundation.ton, complete a few tasks in the JVault Bot, and earn eternal glory and unique SBTs.

⚫️ All funds collected will be used to boost the BOLT/TON liquidity pool on DeDust.io. Depending on the donation amount, participants can earn one of several badges. A Wooden badge will be awarded to those who donate 100 $BOLT or complete all tasks, while a Diamond badge requires a donation of 50,000 $BOLT.

>> Participate here

⚫️ Fun fact: one of the co-founders of $BOLT was also involved in conceptualizing SBTs on TON Blockchain. So, in a way, the story has come full circle, and these badges carry a special aura (or maybe not).

What do you think — will holding these SBTs earn points in TON Society? And if so, how much will each badge be worth?

👁 Two-factor authorization for your TON wallet

⚫️ An interesting event took place the day before yesterday in the official channel of the Tonnel Network ZK-protocol. Two screenshots from the Tonkeeper app were shared, one of which displayed a seed phrase for a wallet labeled as zk2fa.

⚫️ Many initially thought this was a New Year giveaway from Mr. FreeMan, offering $2,000 (1,000 USDt and 990 $TONNEL). However, within minutes, it became clear — the funds couldn’t be withdrawn from the wallet.

⚫️ At first glance, it seemed like a common scam scenario (similar to the «Free money» schemes we discussed in our recent post). But it turned out to be much more intriguing — it was an announcement for a two-factor authentication plugin for W5 Smart Wallet.

⚫️ When the new TON wallet standard was launched, it was stated that W5 wallets would support two-factor authentication and even allow users to recover lost seed phrases. However, no updates on such functionality had been released — until now.

🖊 Independent developers from Tonnel Network have created the Zk2FA plugin, enabling additional security features. They even published the plugin’s source code as open access for anyone curious to test their hacking skills.

We'll be keeping an eye on how this unfolds!

💡 What lessons should TON learn from other blockchains: Insights from Jehan Chu

⚫️ What should the TON ecosystem do in 2025 to achieve success? Jehan Chu, co-founder of the investment firm Kenetic, addressed this question during his talk at The Gateway.

⚫️ In 2014, he organized an Ethereum meetup in Hong Kong, later hosted Vitalik Buterin, and invested in blockchains like Solana. At the conference, Jehan shared valuable lessons from working with various blockchains. As the year comes to a close, we’ve decided to summarize his key points:

⚫️ According to Jehan, integration with Telegram gives TON a unique advantage, but it also presents a challenge: «All successful blockchains were "hungry" at first. This taught them to be efficient and agile. When you start with an advantage, it’s easy to get complacent. That must be avoided.» He then outlined five pieces of advice for TON:

Advice 1: «Build not just technology, but culture.» Successful blockchains owe their achievements not just to good code. «Ethereum thrives on its openness and collaborative spirit. Vitalik can sing and dance on stage; he’s ready to laugh at himself. What is the culture of TON? That remains to be defined.»

Advice 2: «You can’t spell "culture" without "cult."» Most successful blockchains have a prominent figure behind them. Humans are social beings and naturally gravitate toward people, not faceless machines. Ironically, despite the «anonymity» of the crypto world, its participants love gathering at conferences.

Advice 3: «Transparency breeds trust.» Ethereum, for instance, is quite transparent — users understand how processes work and how decisions are made. This transparency fosters trust, encouraging people to invest their money, time, and efforts into the blockchain.

Advice 4: «Solve real people’s problems, not crypto’s.» TON’s integration with Telegram gives it access to a billion people. But for this advantage to pay off, TON must truly understand and address these users’ problems, rather than merely shifting money from one pocket to another.

Advice 5: «Don’t give up.» Every currently successful project has faced existential crises. For Ethereum, it was the DAO hack in 2016, which left the network’s future uncertain. However, the community endured and overcame this challenge. Similarly, TON will likely face obstacles that must be surmounted (remember the arrest of Pavel Durov).

Do you agree with Jehan Chu’s points? Or do you believe TON has a unique path, making the experiences of other blockchains irrelevant? Share your thoughts in the comments.

🔥 Paid stickers are now available on Telegram

⚫️ Our predictions were right! The team behind the Dogs Mini App has launched an NFT sticker marketplace, but not in @dogshouse_bot. Instead, it’s in a separate bot called Sticker Store.

⚫️ Right now, users can buy sticker packs from popular projects like Bored Apes, Dogs, Blum, and Flappy Bird, using Telegram’s internal currency, Stars. And soon the developers promise to add collections from Notcoin and Pudgy Penguins. The scale of these collaborations is impressive, to say the least.

⚫️ However, the option to convert stickers into NFTs on the TON blockchain isn’t available yet — it’s promised to be added soon (sounds familiar, doesn’t it?). It would also be great if users could purchase sticker packs with TON or $DOGS, at least from the desktop version of Telegram, similar to how boosts can be paid for in Not Pixel.

⚫️ To celebrate, we’ve enabled sticker sharing in the comments — feel free to show off your purchases or share why you’d never pay for animated images under any circumstances.

>> Buy stickers

P.S. Users currently may experience problems logging into the store.

🚀 Results of the first launchpool in the Earn app. What's next?

⚫️ The distribution of 5M $BUILD in the new bot from the creators of Notcoin and Community Bot has just concluded. Over the course of a week, around 2 million users joined the campaign. Share in the comments how many reward pools you participated in and how many tokens you managed to farm.

⚫️ There were some hiccups along the way: On the third day of the distribution, users noticed that the top wallet in the TON holder pool belonged to the ecosystem reserve. Many assumed that some enterprising TON developer was farming the promising token, but it turned out to be a bug in Earn. The issue allowed any user to link any existing TON wallet to the app. The problem has reportedly been fixed.

⚫️ Another interesting observation: some users praised the new farming format, noting that Earn encourages holding and even buying tokens from the market, thereby strengthening their value. Others, however, criticized the developers for the lack of on-chain mechanics (besides TON Connect). Essentially, the app only checks whether the required tokens are in your wallet without directly interacting with the blockchain.

⚫️ It remains to be seen whether the developers will address these criticisms and add new functionalities to Earn, including smart-contract integrations. For example, it would be helpful to count tokens held in staking pools so users wouldn’t have to withdraw them just to participate in reward pools.

🖊 Next up is the $BUILD listing, and a new launchpool has already been announced — this time featuring the $CLAY token from the clicker game Clayton. The distribution starts on December 19. Stay tuned for more details!

🖊 Last chance to earn points for the New Year Airdrop

⚫️ The Open League Season 7 ends today at 11:00 UTC, which means there are only a few hours left to deposit your funds into one or more services from the TVL Squad category.

⚫️ As a reminder, points for providing liquidity are awarded only once per season, so the optimal strategy has been to farm trading volume throughout the season and deposit tokens into various pools on the final day.

⚫️ Our colleagues at Full Metal Jetton have compiled a list of services for farming TVL points and kindly shared it with us. We’ve translated it for our readers:

Farmix.tg — a margin farming protocol. For a lower-risk approach, stake your assets to earn 10 points for every $20.

Parraton/SettleTON — reinvestment protocols where pool boosts are automatically reinvested, increasing your share.

Tonco.io — a DEX with concentrated liquidity pools.

Aqua Protocol/TonStable/Delea — algo-stablecoin protocols. To earn points, simply deposit stTON/tsTON and relax.

Crouton — a DEX with stable pools, offering low risk of impermanent loss.

CattonFi — allows you to stake TON.

TON Hedge — supports deposits in USDT.

DAOLama — unfortunately, the pool is already full.

We’ve listed the services that offer the maximum points, but if you’ve been holding onto bags of various TON tokens since spring, you can deposit them into Coffin or JVault.

⚫️ Choose the option that works best for you, provide liquidity, and earn your final points for the New Year Airdrop. You can check your current position on the leaderboard via the link. Good luck!

✈️ Are NFT stickers coming to Telegram soon?

⚫️ Today, the @dogshouse_bot, thanks to which millions of users received their first $DOGS tokens, launched a Winter Adventure calendar. The campaign is a bit like the Streak System in Telegram Apps Center, you can win valuable prizes for participation, and it will run for 28 days.

⚫️ It seems the creators are warming up the audience for something significant. Judging by recent updates, this event could be the long-awaited release of NFT stickers. A December 1 post stated that their development is in the final stage, and preview videos of the upcoming marketplace, Stickers, have started appearing in various channels.

⚫️ Back on April 19, during the TOKEN2049 conference, Pavel Durov announced the launch of NFT stickers and emojis for Telegram on TON Blockchain, designed to let artists earn 95% of the revenue from their creations.

⚫️ While the introduction of Stars delayed Telegram’s deeper integration with TON, the arrival of paid gifts in October could be seen as a testing phase for NFT stickers. Notably, Pavel Durov promised in his post that users would be able to convert limited-edition gifts into NFTs on TON by the end of the year. Do you think they'll meet the deadline?

🖊 Will the Dogs Mini App become the main marketplace for paid stickers, or will it be a separate Mini App/menu within Telegram, similar to the current Stars gift shop? Share your thoughts in the comments.
