⚫️ One of the earliest products in the ecosystem has released a mobile application. In the past couple of weeks, you've definitely seen numerous mentions of MyTonWallet across various news channels.
⚫️ It seems the team is seriously committed to evolving within the ecosystem. Apart from the browser extension, which was the first incarnation of MyTonWallet, the team has also contributed to the development of TON Proxy and TON DNS for TON Foundation and was one of the first network validators. (They are among those who timely upgraded their equipment — we checked)
⚫️ Now, let's talk about the wallet. All the infinity stones have been assembled: a browser extension, a web version, desktop versions for macOS and Windows, and now a mobile application.
⚫️ MyTonWallet, with its visual design and functionality, will appeal to experienced crypto enthusiasts accustomed to Metamask. For advanced users, it offers authorization using a Ledger hardware wallet.
⚫️ Many have noted the ability to maintain multiple wallets within MyTonWallet and quickly switch between each. Not just a convenient, but an indispensable feature for crypto handling — it's surprising not all wallets support it.

👁 Changes in the roadmap from TON Foundation
⚫️ Only a few days remain until the New Year, and with it, the end of the fourth quarter, by which TON Foundation developers had planned to introduce a series of new tools. According to plans at the beginning of the month, ETH, BNB, BTC bridges, and Jetton bridges, as well as Extra-currencies technology and much more, were supposed to be implemented in The Open Network by the end of this year. However, after the issues with the blockchain's operation in December, the team decided to revise the roadmap.
⚫️ Currently, on the official website ton.org, over fifteen tools have been postponed indefinitely, leaving us only to guess when they will be implemented. This list also includes the V5 version of the wallet, TON Browser, and gasless transactions, which we have previously discussed.

✔️ The TON-20 standard is confidently taking its place in TON ecosystem
⚫️ $NANO has been fully minted for several days now, and the blockchain and its main services predominantly maintain stability in operation. The measures taken by Tonano to change the nature of indexing have had an effect, and instead of holders with billions of tokens, the $NANO supply has been evenly distributed among wallets, with no top holder exceeding 1.5%.
⚫️ Even though the cost of minting for an individual user can't be called a budget breake, the total network commission over these days amounted to an impressive 138 thousand TON. Nonetheless, some enthusiasts spent tens of Toncoin on minting tokens, hoping to multiply this investment in the future.
⚫️ TON-20 has become a convenient tool for creating fan tokens, whose tickers display the names of popular products in the cryptocurrency world. Thus, any user can claim a corresponding name (such as «ton», «doge», «hello world», etc.) while setting a supply ranging from several billion to just one token.
⚫️ For instance, «bolt» and «bolt20», named after the main meme coin on TON, both entered the top ten in the number of holders among all tickers on the platform. And while the prospects of these assets are uncertain, such flashmobs may indicate user trust in certain ecosystem products and serve as good promotional campaigns for the launch of new projects.
⚫️ Although the marketplace on the Tonano website has not yet been launched, users have already begun actively using the minted tokens for trading on OTC (over-the-counter trading platforms).
📒 In the end, three positive aspects of implementing the new standard can be highlighted: a shake-up for the ecosystem, which thoroughly invigorated the sleepy community; an influx of new users from Asia thanks to viral posts on X (Twitter); and, of course, the updating of validators and modernization of the blockchain infrastructure, which became a bit too self-assured after achieving the TPS record.

⌨️ The Weekly TON: This week's highlights

⚫️ The all-in-one web3 wallet from one of the largest crypto copy trading platforms, Bitget, has integrated TON mainnet into its services. Moreover, a related application for earning bonuses, Rewards Center, appeared in the Telegram Web App ecosystem.

🚀 Relaunch of the high-profile TON-20 standard
⚫️ The weekend gave TON ecosystem a brief respite from the upheaval, but it was not meant to last long. Today, at 12:00 UTC, the protocol will be relaunched, and the minting of the TON-20 token will once again test the infrastructure's resilience.
⚫️ This time, the creators of Tonano have taken measures against spam from script minters: only transactions signed by basic wallets (such as @wallet, Tonkeeper, MyTonWallet, and others) to the address of your own wallet will be indexed. Transactions sent to a zero address will not be indexed, meaning that their overload should not cause network failures.
⚫️ Thanks to the coordinated efforts of TON team, it was possible not only to cope with the network overload and process all the «stuck» transactions but also to promptly work with validators on updating nodes and release a series of necessary patches. ⚫️ Now, Tonano is ready to resume token issuance on their website and, judging by the comment from Anthony Tsivarev, Director of Ecosystem Development at TON Foundation: «Yes, the latest validator updates will help us cope with this,» — everything should go smoothly. We believe in the success of the blockchain and are closely monitoring the upcoming mint!

🚀 The Martian Chronicles in The Open Network
⚫️ We recently held a live stream with the lead of TON Foundation Gaming (on our russian-language channel The Daily TON RUS), where we discussed the existing GameFi products in our ecosystem. This isn't the first broadcast where we've discussed blockchain games — an interesting but complex topic.
⚫️ One of the main questions that arises in such discussions is, «Why does a game need blockchain?»: so far, we've managed without decentralization and everything works fine. And when it comes to an existing game that would benefit from the implementation of blockchain technologies, everyone cites the same project — EVE Online. This space MMORPG, jokingly called an «Excel simulator» due to its complex gameplay, has managed to attract over 10 million players.
⚫️ TON also has its own space online simulator requiring thoughtful study and meticulous calculations — TON Planets.
⚫️ It's a browser-based economic strategy game with numerous mechanics and the opportunity to earn while playing. The simulator offers to manage your holdings on the surface of Mars: buying and selling plots, leasing them out, placing production facilities and workers, trading resources on the market.

📈 Unexpected (or Inevitable?) success of the $RAFF sale
⚫️ The TonRaffles team, consisting of independent developers with no ties to TON Foundation or famous funds backing them, has been building their platform with various tools for NFTs and jettons in TON for one and a half years.
⚫️ In early December, they launched a fairlaunch* of their utility token $RAFF, and as of now, they have collected a staggering 120,221 TON, which is nearly 50 times the size of the Soft Cap announced at the start. The sale has already seen the participation of 1,719 people, despite disruptions in the network's operation. With several hours left until the end (16:00 UTC), the amount and number of participants are likely to increase.

📡 Brief summary of The Daily Talk x TON API broadcast.
Today on The Daily TON RUS, we had an extraordinary broadcast (in Russian) where, together with Denis Subbotin, the tech lead of TON API, we discussed the blockchain's recent operational issues. Here are the key points of the broadcast:
— What actually happened?
In just a few hours, about 2.5 million messages were sent to one account by ~10000 unique senders. TON processed one and a half million transactions in a couple of hours, and then problems began. However, the blockchain did not «crash», even though usage was significantly hampered.
— What is BRC-20? How does it work?
A standard that involves sending text messages to one address, which off-chain software then parses and distributes tokens among users. This protocol was ported to TON and «promoted» among users.
— What did the developers and TON Foundation do?
Fixes and software updates are ongoing. The culprits (Tonano) asked their users to stop sending transactions. It's possible that the Tonano developers simply did not consider that TON's architecture is not suitable for this idea (implementing the BRC-20 standard on TON).
— What is the key difference from the recent performance test in the testnet?
There are two key differences. First: in the test, transactions were distributed, meaning they were not sent to just one smart contract. Second: the number and quality of nodes — the infrastructure was specifically enhanced for the experiment.
— How did this affect TON's readiness for such tests?
The core team is making necessary changes to the software, and key infrastructure projects are also taking this experience into account.
— What's happening now?
A small part of the blockchain continues to lag, but transactions have started to improve in the last few hours. The GitHub repository shows that the core team is currently updating the code. After fully resolving the issue, we look forward to hearing about the work done.

🔥 We analyzed the results of the recent voting on TON.Vote for The Open League proposal, discussed the essence of the project, and talked with a representative from Tonstarter, obtaining answers to some important questions.
⚫️ The first phase of the EVAA Hackathon was launched — the Dev Phase. The main task for participants is to create liquidation bots that can automatically seize and sell collaterals when their value drops too low.

🐤 Pearl hunters embark on the hunt: Getgems conducts the first cNFT mint
⚫️ This summer, we wrote about the new token standard — Compressed NFT (cNFT), which significantly reduces the amount of data uploaded to the blockchain and, consequently, makes it hundreds of times cheaper to release collections.
⚫️ The Getgems team tried out this technology in their Pearls by Gems bot, minting 16,000 cNFTs for just $3. Everyone who connected their wallets in time received tokens. It's worth noting that currently, only @wallet can display the new standard NFTs, but they can be viewed in your profile on getgems.io.
⚫️ TON became the second blockchain after Solana to implement the cNFT standard. However, «compressed» NFTs on one of the Solana trading platforms were launched just recently — in September this year, which means Getgems has every chance to take the lead in the newly opened niche.
⚫️ The «pearl» collection by Lost Dogs delighted owners not only with its pleasant visual style and atmospheric story: one user was lucky enough to sell a postcard for 45 $TON! Given the overall cost of issuing the collection, this is indeed an impressive result.

💎 A win-win Proposal?
⚫️ From November 20th to 24th, voting for The Open League proposal took place on TON.Vote website. TON Foundation needed to prove that the community supports the launch of the pilot season, as well as to gather additional feedback and suggestions.
⚫️ In a nutshell, The Open League is a large-scale grant support platform for projects. Its goal, over three seasons by mid-spring 2025, is to attract at least five million users to TON Ecosystem. The Open League will stand on two main pillars:
⚫️ @community_bot, familiar to many of you, will take on the role of a quest platform, through which participants in the reward programs can earn XP points.
⚫️ TON Society — a fundamentally new platform for the community — will become a kind of social network, combining profiles of initiative participants and giving them the opportunity to showcase achievements, accumulate XP, and participate in voting.
⚫️ Primate impact is too high channel has recently published a detailed breakdown of the main points of the proposal in a Telegraph article format (russian language). Meanwhile, we revisited the 18-minute presentation from The Gateway conference and spoke with a representative from Tonstarter, further elucidating some aspects of the initiative:
— XP points can be exchanged at a fixed rate, unlike tokens, which have their variable price and cannot be reissued after launch. That's why it was emphasized during the presentation that XP is not a token.
— Concerns about a potential drop in Toncoin price due to the distribution of XP are unnecessary, as the organizers (TON Foundation) are primarily concerned about this issue and will certainly take all risks into account. Consequently, it can be assumed that earning points won’t be too easy.
— The preliminary number of projects planned to be involved in each season is 15, but this figure may still change.
— After the launch of the pilot season, it will become clear how to assess the indicator of potentially attracted users, which will determine the amount of grant funds allocated to each project.
👁 As we see, many questions will be resolved based on the experience of The Open League's pilot season. And it will undoubtedly happen, as in the voting on TON.Vote, 477 out of 493 participants unequivocally supported the proposal (99.5% of votes «Yes» in TON equivalent). We've already seen successful campaigns conducted with the help of Community Bot, so we can optimistically expect a new significant leap in the development of TON Ecosystem. Looking forward to new announcements!
