We're closely following the happenings of the second day of The Gateway, and let's also summarize everything that was announced on the first day:

⚫️ Today, during a public performance test, TON managed to break the world record for the number of transactions per second, achieving a result of 108,409 TPS.
⚫️ The Open Network has left competitors such as Solana and Free TON (Everscale) far behind with their metrics at the 65,000 level. Thanks to the record, the price of Toncoin increased from $2.05 to $2.27.
⚫️ The performance test was conducted in a separate network to avoid complicating the subsequent operation of applications in the testnet.

🚀 Per aspera ad astra: First impressions of the EVAA mainnet
⚫️ It's been nearly three weeks since the functionality of the EVAA lending platform became available to EVAA Mainnet Card holders. It's time to talk about the experience of using the service and user feedback.
⚫️ First, let's recall what lending is all about: if you urgently need a token (for example, TON to buy NFT) but don't want to exchange your other savings for it, you can collateralize them and receive the desired TON as a loan. Later, of course, you'll have to repay the borrowed token with a small interest, but it might still be more profitable than transferring coins back and forth.

👁 What's this Finderton all about?
⚫️ The FCK team has announced the beginning of private beta testing for their new product — Finderton.
⚫️ For context, FCK is an analytical platform that found its way into the selection of promising token explorers on TON. Since then, the project's token $FCK has been added to popular aggregators CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap.
⚫️ To gain access to Finderton testing, it is required to have an FCK Private Key. This key allows holders to receive exclusive access to updates and new functionalities of the project's products ahead of everyone else.
⚫️ At the moment, the FCK team is not ready to provide detailed information about their new service. This secrecy definitely adds its own mysterious charm, heightening the sense of anticipation.

🚀 xRocket introduces Mini App
⚫️ The Telegram bot @xrocket has kicked off a new update — starting today, Telegram users may access the exchange right in the Telegram Mini App format. xRocket has already supported trading pairs with TON (for example, SCALE/TON) and USDT (with TON, jUSDT, BNB, and TRX). Additionally, users have both trading and automatic conversion options.
⚫️ Cryptocurrency trading was already available on Telegram, for instance, through @cryptobot. However, the centralized exchange has become the first implemented as a web application, rather than a text-based bot.
⚫️ Some trading pairs were added to xRocket just ahead of today's launch. On October 5th, the USDT/jUSDT pair (wrapped USDT in TON Blockchain) was introduced. On October 6th, support for TRX, TRON's native token, was added which is used for USDT TRC-20 transfers.
⚫️ Until recently, the bot was known as @tonRocketBot. Changing bot’s name is due to its expanded scope, no longer being confined solely to The Open Network.

🍌 Following The Gateway: When will the native stablecoin on TON launch?
⚫️ The recent conference in Dubai brought us not only the rollout plan for the Wallet available to all Telegram users, but also numerous rumors of an impending partnership with a major stablecoin issuer. And while the community awaits news, The Daily TON decided to conduct its investigation to figure out when The Open Network will see a native stablecoin.
⚫️ For months, rumors about a native stablecoin have circulated, bolstered by a CertiK-audited smart contract on GitHub for over a year. TON Foundation's spokespeople have not shied away from acknowledging these discussions: Anton Tsivarev initially hinted at ongoing global efforts for stablecoin integration in a developer's chat, and post-Gateway, Howard Peng, a DevRel specialist at the TON Foundation, alluded to a collaboration with "a major player" while on a live stream.
⚫️ Currently, Tether and Circle – the issuers of USDT and USDC tokens, respectively – dominate the stablecoin market. Both have debuted their tokens across more than ten different blockchains. Yet, before we leap to any conclusions about the potential frontrunner, let's examine the evidence at hand. Given that Circle is an American entity and considering TON’s intricate past with the U.S. (highlighted by the fact that the Wallet is not accessible to American users), it seems improbable that a partnership with Circle is on the horizon.
💎 In contrast, Tether is registered in Hong Kong and belongs to the same company that owns the Bitfinex exchange. Toncoin was listed there earlier this year, and during last summer, Andrey Rogozov, a member of the TON Foundation, gave an interview to the exchange’s channel.
⚫️ If we cautiously speculate that TON Foundation is in dialogue with Tether, then what's the expected schedule for this integration? What could be delaying the much-anticipated launch of USDT on TON? Plausibly, it's the absence of necessary infrastructure. Among the new features of the fifth wallet standard, one can anticipate "gasless transactions" that will allow users to send tokens without paying gas in Toncoin. Given that "gasless transactions" are already a feature of the TRON blockchain – which leads in USDT transactions – it's conceivable that the TON Foundation, having recognized the utility of fee-free transfers, seeks to implement a comparable feature in their quest for "mass adoption" and in attracting hundreds of millions of TON users.
⚫️ The introduction of the fifth-standard wallet is scheduled for mid-next year, and it's quite likely that this event will coincide with the debut of the first native stablecoin on The Open Network. Meanwhile, users can utilize wrapped tokens to provide liquidity and store savings.

⚫️ The FCK.team announced the launch of the open beta test for the analytical platform DYOR.ninja. The project aims to assist users in assessing the reliability of tokens and decentralized applications in TON ecosystem.
⚫️ Currently, on the website, you can view token prices in various pairs, study liquidity charts, transactions, and the number of holders of the jettons you're interested in. There's also an option to connect to the analytical bot, and soon tabs for NFT and DApp will become available (hinted at by the popping up «soon» banners).
⚫️ DYOR.ninja has replaced the well-known fck.dev project by the same development team. The purpose of the $FCK token remains unchanged: it can be used to vote for your favorite jetton, thereby improving its position in a special recognition rating.
⚫️ The developers have already started actively incorporating and gradually implementing platform improvements based on the results of the beta launch. But there's still much work ahead! The FCK.team is asking everyone to join the testing and report any bugs they find to the report bot. We, in turn, wish the service good luck, as such initiatives only increase user trust in new projects and help navigate the intricate ecosystem of TON.
💡 The DYOR acronym was chosen for the service for a reason. It's somewhat of a meme in the cryptocurrency sphere, standing for Do Your Own Research, encouraging users to learn more about projects before investing in them.

🚀 Liquid Staking by Ton Whales, one of the oldest teams in the ecosystem.
⚫️ The new derivative token has been named $wsTON. At the time of writing, the APY in the pool is ~4.30%. Soon, a pair with $wsTON will appear on the DeDust.io exchange, which will open the opportunity not only to trade the token but also to add it to the liquidity pool for additional income.
⚫️ The liquid staking application natively integrates DeDust.io for instant unstaking. A great example of mutually beneficial collaboration between teams.
⚫️ It is worth noting that the final release of the service itself is not yet out — it is marked as beta on the website.
⚫️ As a reminder, it was the Ton Whales team that launched the most popular staking service for Toncoin in the ecosystem. 📈 There's no such thing as too many users: Wallet continues to strengthen its position
⚫️ Over the past year, discussions about listing Toncoin on Binance have been nearly constant among network users. While many are wandering in search of the slightest rumors and insiders, Bybit, the world's third most visited cryptocurrency exchange, has already held at least several events in collaboration with The Open Network. Next in line is the new initiative — TON Odyssey.
⚫️ Since December 2022, Toncoin has been available for spot trading on Bybit in the TON/USDT pair. And now, almost a year later, Odyssey invites users to activate their @wallet in Telegram and link them with their exchange accounts. For completing this simple procedure, each of the first 25,000 participants will receive 0.5 TON in their @wallet balance.
⚫️ As always, the most interesting offer awaits new Bybit users. They can get 5 Toncoin in their exchange balance by depositing a minimum of $100 within seven days of registering their account. ⚫️ At The Gateway conference, the development of TON Browser was announced. Its release is slated for 2024.
⚫️ It is known that the browser will support various TON services. Other details are yet to be revealed.
⚫️ In the absence of official information, it can be cautiously assumed that it will be a Chromium-based browser, differentiating from Chrome through TON integration. This would conveniently allow users to utilize various TON features in the browser without resorting to extensions: for example, accessing TON Sites without the need for additional proxy installation.
⚫️ Outside TON ecosystem, Brave Browser, also based on Chromium, previously took a similar path: it integrated a crypto wallet, allowing users to forego extensions like MetaMask.

🏆 The Fastest Cowboy in the Blockchain Landscape
We're sure many of you have heard about TON's upcoming attempt to set the world record for TPS. But what really affects network speed and who currently holds this coveted title? Let's dive in.
⚫️ TPS (Transactions Per Second) is a metric showing how many transactions a blockchain can process in a second. Often, the higher the number, the more advanced the network is perceived to be. But does this mean Bitcoin and Ethereum, with their 7 and 27 TPS respectively, are hopelessly outdated and can no longer compete?
⚫️ The TPS value depends on several factors: from the number of registered addresses and validators to block sizes and the transactions themselves. Hence, many blockchains might claim a theoretical metric of a million TPS, but in practice, they can't achieve such numbers in live tests.
⚫️ TPS figures vastly differ between PoW (Proof of Work) and PoS (Proof of Stake) networks. For instance, in March this year, mintBlue proudly announced a world record among PoW blockchains – 1,500 transactions, while back in 2021, the PoS blockchain Free TON (later Everscale) set a record of over 65,000 TPS. As we can see, the first type of network significantly lags the second in speed. So, what's the trade-off? A much higher level of decentralization.
⚫️ On typical days, the number of transactions per second in the most popular networks doesn't exceed 30. However, with technological advancements, this can change. Many still optimistically consider the potential of blockchains to replace traditional centralized networks like Visa and MasterCard, which have actual rates of 1,700 and 5,000 respectively. In such scenarios, a high TPS is certainly beneficial.
📈 Currently, blockchains primarily compete among themselves, outdoing each other not just in TPS but in aspects of decentralization and security too. We now wait for October 31 to see how TON fares in this competition.

🚀 The Theory of Evolution: a brief overview of the main TON-wallet versions
Two weeks ago, we discussed the development of the new "Wallet V5" standard, as well as the change in the first letters of addresses from "EQ" to "UQ" in Tonkeeper. On this occasion, we're publishing our concise review of the primary wallet versions, which will be helpful for both new users of the TON ecosystem and seasoned crypto enthusiasts.
⚫️ Wallet V1 — the simplest wallet option. It allows you to send transactions and checks nothing but their sequence number (seqno) and your signature.
⚫️ Wallet V2 introduced the feature of setting a «timer», which limits the transaction by time if you don't want it to be confirmed too late.
⚫️ Wallet V3 brought a new feature that allows the creation of multiple wallets using the same public key.
⚫️ Wallet V4 (the current version) added plugins, enabling the implementation of complex logic in conjunction with the user's wallet. For example, subscriptions to various services became available, ranging from private channels to paid applications.
⚫️ The developing Wallet V5 is expected to support gasless transactions (delegating gas payments to a third party), offer tools for account recovery, and introduce a flexible mechanism for extensions. Additionally, the new version promises to significantly reduce fees for users and traders.
👁 What's the bottom line?
⚫️ Before the advent of Wallet V4, there were neither NFTs nor tokens in the ecosystem. Therefore, in anticipation of the fifth version's release, a questions arise: how simple and understandable will the process of transferring a variety of digital assets be?
