A stone around the neck of the ecosystem
Imagine a hypothetical situation: a popular product once again fails and lets down its partners; users lose money again, and the community is boiling with dissatisfaction.
He keeps a straight face and ignores the criticism, taking advantage of a "special position": why bother fixing issues, improving the service, or even thinking about users when the right people have already settled things for us.
Then it is "displayed in the storefront" of the ecosystem, being integrated into more and more flagship products through which new people pour into the community. And then they flow out to more user-friendly ecosystems.
TON undoubtedly awaits widespread adoption and popularity, but not thanks to such "builders", but in spite of them. Choose reliable partners and don't trust your resources to dubious platforms.
👁 Tonkeeper changed wallet addresses: what does this mean?
⚫️ Yesterday in Tonkeeper, the wallet addresses were changed: the initial letters "EQ" were replaced with "UQ", and the ending letters also changed. Users were reassured: "everything crucial works as before". So why change?
⚫️ Every TON-address has different display variants, and using the TON Address service, one can easily see them all. The addresses themselves remained the same, only the display changed from "bounceable" (EQ…) to "non-bounceable" (UQ…).
⚫️ "Bounceable" is needed so that when sending funds to an uninitialized smart contract, they don't get lost but return to the sender. However, wallets can accept funds even before their activation, so their addresses were changed to "non-bounceable".
⚫️ And why are the last symbols changing? It's a checksum: they are calculated from all the previous ones to check if there are any mistakes in the address (if a user makes a typo, the checksum won't match). Therefore, when any characters in the address change, the last ones automatically change as well.

⭐️ Tokens collateralized by tokens
⚫️ The lending platform Evaa announced the release of its beta version on the mainnet, initiating a countdown to its platform launch. The first to gain access will be the holders of the EVAA Mainnet Card, allowing them to test the service before its full-scale release.
⚫️ The lending protocol is a decentralized P2P lending system where users can borrow certain assets (tokens) while providing others as collateral.
⚫️ An example of how the lending could be used: let's say you urgently need TON, but you only have a token in your wallet that you believe in and don't want to sell. To avoid selling this valuable asset and to retain the tokens, you can use them as collateral, borrowing TON at an interest rate.
⚫️ In the future, the platform plans to release its own SDK, transforming Evaa from a lending site into a DeFi platform, offering a wide range of features and tools for users and developers.

⚫️ Today marks the launch of the DEX aggregator by TON Diamonds and the listing of the $GLINT token on exchanges connected to this aggregator.

💡 The fifth version of TON wallets is on the horizon
⚫️ The Tonkeeper team is working on a new wallet standard to replace the current version, v4R2, named "Wallet V5" (also simply referred to as "W5").
⚫️ It's announced that this new standard will reduce commission costs, incorporate a flexible extension mechanism, support "delegation" of gas payment to a third party, as well as "gas-free transactions" and "account recovery" (details on these features have not yet been provided).
⚫️ Additionally, a competition has been announced for developers to optimize the W5 code to reduce gas consumption during transaction processing. Winners will receive prizes in Toncoin, the amount of which will depend on the saved gas.
⚫️ A reminder: In TON, wallets are implemented based on smart contracts. This has led to the emergence of different versions. To expand the capabilities of wallets, a more functional smart contract is occasionally introduced as a new standard (for example, the fourth version included plugin support).
⚫️ Due to TON's unique implementation, the same seed phrase combined with different versions of smart contracts creates separate independent wallets. Don't be alarmed if, upon first use of W5, you don't see the funds you deposited in a different version on your balance.

💡 RWA: How to buy a piece of art?

💡 What are stableswaps?
⚫️ Unlike traditional liquidity pools, StableSwap pools allow the creation of token pairs that don't assume volatility. For instance, a pair between stablecoins.
⚫️ In the TON ecosystem, currently only DeDust.io has stableswaps, with pairs like jUSDT/jUSDC and stTON/TON (a derivative of bemo.finance liquid staking).
⚫️ Here's how it works: when exchanging 1000 jUSDT on DeDust in the jUSDT/jUSDC pair, you'll receive approximately 999 jUSDC. In a similar pair on another DEX that doesn't support stableswaps, you'd receive only about 837 jUSDC (as of the post's publication). That's a difference of 162 jUSDC.
⚫️ StableSwap pools not only offer the opportunity to exchange certain tokens at a very favorable rate but also allow you to earn by providing liquidity without the risk of impermanent loss, since there's no volatility in these pairs.
