⚡️Corruption scandal involving the Czech company “Reactive Drone”

The company “Reactive Drone” was selling Chinese drones to Ukraine at a price 20 times higher than what they were purchased for. Over two years, the firm bought drones in China for 36 million Czech crowns and sold them to the AFU for 692 million crowns.

The company failed to pay taxes amounting to around 130 million Czech crowns, and the money was being transferred to accounts in China. Searches have been conducted, accounting records have been seized, and about 384 million crowns in the company’s accounts have been frozen. The CEO has been taken into custody.

📹❗️Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov carried out an inspection of Russian military facilities and units of the Russian Armed Forces stationed in Tajikistan.

In this country is located the 201st Military Base of the Russian Armed Forces, where several thousand servicemen of the Russian Army are stationed on a permanent basis. Local units are equipped with T-72B3M tanks (2024 variant), BTR-82ATs, 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled howitzers, and VPK Tigr armored vehicles. All of the above equipment is fitted with additional and simplified anti-drone protection kits.

Recently, units from this base took part in exercises on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

In addition to the 201st Military Base, the minister also visited another important and indeed unique Russian Armed Forces facility in Tajikistan: the Okno optical-electronic space surveillance complex. It consists of a group of specialized telescopes that make it possible to detect any object in Earth orbit (primarily satellites, of course). The complex has been in operation since 1999.

Some technical characteristics of the Okno complex:
Optical-electronic search and detection station:
— Operating spectral range: visible; field of view in azimuth: 0–360°; in elevation: 30–90°
— Operating altitude range: up to 50,000 km
Optical-electronic station for measuring angular coordinates and photometry:
— Operating spectral range: visible; field of view in azimuth: 20–90°; in elevation: 5–90°
— Objective diameter of the narrow-angle channel: 235 mm; maximum angular tracking speed: 3.7°/s

It is also capable of tracking low-orbit space objects at altitudes from 120 to 2,000 km.

A new batch of Su-30SM2 fighters delivered to the Russian Ministry of Defense

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) has delivered another batch of Su-30SM2 multirole fighters to the Russian Ministry of Defense as part of the state defense order. The aircraft have completed the full cycle of ground and flight tests and have been sent to their designated duty locations.

The modernization of the aircraft has significantly expanded its combat capabilities: onboard systems have been upgraded, new weapons have been integrated, and a modern electronic warfare suite has been installed.

Meanwhile, in India, tests are underway for a new stealth coating for Su-30MKI fighters, according to the Indian outlet IDRW. The new polyurethane-based coating with magnetic functional fillers is designed to significantly reduce the aircraft’s radar signature. It reportedly reduces the Su-30MKI’s RCS by 50–70 percent (down to 1–3 square meters) in the frontal projection. Theoretically, this would decrease the detection range by modern radars from 200–300 km to 100–150 km.

“Black Eagle” (Object 640) was a Russian project for a next-generation main battle tank developed in the 1990s by the Omsk Transport Machine-Building Design Bureau. A prototype of the Black Eagle was first shown in 1997, but it never entered serial production.

The goal of the project was to create a tank with a fundamentally new level of protection, mobility, and combat effectiveness. The design was based on the T-80U; in essence, Object 640 was intended to become a deeply modernized version of it.

The crew (three people) was placed in an isolated armored capsule at the front of the hull, while the ammunition and engine were located in the rear. This was done to increase crew survivability: in the event of the ammunition being hit, the explosion would be directed away from the crew.

It was planned to equip the tank with a 125 mm smoothbore gun capable of firing both conventional rounds and guided missiles.

📍 Training firing from deep inside a room through a ballistic window

The task was to take a shot in such a way that the shooter would not be visible at all, neither to the naked eye, nor to a thermal imager, nor by muzzle flash.

To achieve this, the shot was taken through a minimal-size opening from deep inside the building. The size of the aperture is just large enough for the bullet to exit without touching the edges. The smaller the window, the lower the chances of being detected by optics, UAVs, or thermal imaging.
Engagement distance: 400 m
Setup: .308 Win, 6×12 (Orsis)

Result:
Minimal exposure, a small firing window, and working from deep shadow, the shooter remains a “ghost”.

A compilation of strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Sting interceptor drones against 100 Russian Geran-2 kamikaze drones.

Judging from the footage, not all Geran drones were successfully hit, and the time interval between the video fragments showing interceptions is unknown.

As is known, from a technical standpoint the interception of subsonic cruise missiles flying at around Mach 0.78 in the rear hemisphere is relatively uncomplicated: in the rear aspect, the exhaust plume of the TRDD-50A (“ТРДД-50А”) engine has a maximum infrared signature, allowing lock-on by an IR seeker, even one on a relatively inexpensive AIM-9L/M air-to-air missile, not to mention the AIM-9X Block II. French Mirage-2000-5F fighters perform similar “hunting” missions against Kh-101s.

Rostec: The “Tornado-S” reliably destroys targets invulnerable to drones

Russian military correspondents have published footage showing the destruction of a Ukrainian river crossing built by Ukrainian Armed Forces engineering units using a heavy mechanized bridge. Initial strikes were carried out by FPV drones, but they only damaged the decking and did not disable the crossing.

After that, according to Rostec, a precision-guided munition from the Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system was used to hit the target. According to the state corporation, the 300mm munition, fired from long range, struck the target accurately, destroying the bridge module designed to withstand loads of up to 60 tons. Rostec emphasized that Tornado-S guided munitions have proven to be among the most effective means for engaging point targets in the conflict zone.

The first video from the captured city of Kupyansk has appeared online. Russian Armed Forces personnel with national flags recorded footage from various parts of the city.

In the video published, assault units can be seen clearing buildings and establishing control over the Kupyansk Sugar Plant, the Kupyansk Dairy and Canning Plant, Rosa Luxemburg Square, and the Yubileyny microdistrict.
