Captions Above Media. Captions can be placed above the media, to add top text to memes or to give an intro to photos and videos.
After selecting media in your 📎attachment menu, press and hold the Send arrow and select 'Move Caption Up'.
You can also edit a message to move its caption up or down – just hold the ✅ Save button to see the option.
Reaction Management. In addition to choosing which reaction emoji are available, channel admins can select a maximum number of reaction types per post – to keep their feed more tidy.
Читать полностью…Share Location Indefinitely. When sharing your live location with a user or group, you can tap to add more time.
By choosing 'Until I turn it off', your location will be shared indefinitely – letting contacts check your location for extended periods.
Birthdays. You can add your date of birth to your profile – reminding contacts when to celebrate.
When other users have their birthdays, a special banner appears in your chat list so you can quickly congratulate them and gift a Premium subscription.
By default your birthday is only visible to your contacts – and you can adjust its visibility in your privacy settings.
Recommended Channels. The 'Channels' tab in 🔎Search shows all the channels you subscribe to – plus a list of recommended channels with similar topics.
Pulling up to jump to unread channels also includes recommended channels – after you've read all the ones you subscribe to.
Sticker Editor: Add Existing Stickers. Any of the millions of Telegram stickers can be added to your custom packs – collecting all your favorites in one place.
To add an existing sticker to your pack, open it in the panel and tap ➕ and choose 'Add an Existing Sticker'.
Sticker Editor. You can turn photos on your device into custom stickers with text, drawings, emoji and more.
To start, tap ➕ in the sticker panel and select a photo. The editor also lets you instantly remove the background in one tap or add an outline for that classic sticker look.
💼 Links to Chat. Business users can create unique links that instantly open a chat with the business and suggest a message in the input field.
These links are in t.me
format, so you can use them in chats or anywhere else – like a button on your website or a QR code on a menu.
💼 Folder Tags. Business users can add colored labels to chats based on the chat folders they belong to.
Chats can have multiple tags – which dynamically update based on the folder you're viewing them from.
For example, an unread work chat would appear with Unread
and Work
tags in your All Chats folder, but only Unread
in your Work folder.
💼 Away Messages. Telegram Business users can set an away message to automatically reply when they are closed or on vacation.
Both greeting and away messages support text formatting, files and all media types – and can contain multiple messages.
💼 Location and Business Hours. Telegram users can convert their profile to a business page – adding the location and business hours of their company.
To add business info to your profile or create automated greetings, away messages and quick replies – go to Settings > Telegram Business.
Group Emoji. Admins of boosted groups can set a group emoji pack – unlocking one set of emoji that all members can use in the chat.
Custom emoji are an open platform – so you can choose a set from Telegram artists, or create a unique pack just for your community.
Stories from Groups. Admins of groups that receive enough boosts are able to post stories as the group.
For each level a group gains, it can post 1 additional story per day. Replies to a group's story are sent to the chat – sparking new conversations.
Admins with the proper permissions can tap the story icon 📖 on the group's profile or select the group in the 'Post Story As' section of the story editor.
⭐️ One-Way Last Seen and Read Times. Users who hide their read time aren't able to see read times from other users.
Except with Telegram Premium – which allows you to hide your read time and still see the read times of users who share theirs with you.
If a user hides their read time, it is always hidden from all users, including Premium users.
Watching One-Time Messages. One-time voice and video messages can't be paused and can't be opened more than once.
The message will play until it finishes, or until you tap 'Close and Delete' – vanishing with a beautiful animation.
Message Effects. In 1-on-1 chats, you can add animated effects to messages that play when the recipient opens the chat.
All users have access to free effects like ❤️👍🔥🎉 and Telegram Premium unlocks hundreds more – including all the effects from Premium Stickers.
To add an effect, press and hold the Send arrow – messages with effects can also be scheduled or sent without sound.
⭐️ Animated Emoji in Polls. Premium users can include animated emoji and emoji from their custom sets in polls.
Any Telegram user can upload their own artwork as custom emoji for Premium users – and everyone else can use them in their Saved Messages.
Mass Moderation. Groups admins can select several messages to perform multiple moderation actions at the same time – with individual toggles for each user and action.
The menu also has options to restrict users and limit their permissions if needed.
In addition, admins of groups with 200+ members can enable aggressive spam filtering to help automate moderation.
My Profile. The 'My Profile' section in Settings lets you view your profile as it appears to other users.
There you can quickly change any info like your bio and profile colors – or add your birthday and highlight a channel you own.
It also allows you to pin 3 stories to the top and quickly manage the privacy settings of stories on your profile or in your archive.
Share Sticker Sets. Anyone can tap a sticker in chat to instantly add the full set to their library.
Sticker sets also have a unique link – so you can share them in messages or other apps as well.
Sticker Editor: Create New Sets. After creating a custom sticker you can send it straight away or add it to a pack to share with friends.
Custom sticker packs can also include any existing stickers on Telegram – either from Telegram artists or other users.
💼 Chatbots for Business. Businesses can connect a Telegram bot to their account that will process and answer messages on their behalf.
You can control which chats the bot is able to access – like excluding chats with your contacts or only responding to new chats.
Developers can enable Business Mode in @BotFather to integrate their bots with Telegram Business.
💼 Start Page. Telegram Business lets you customize the start page for empty chats – adding your own text and a unique sticker.

Telegram Premium subscribers are currently able to access all Business features for free.

Group Appearance Settings. Boosted groups have unique customization options – able to change the color and logo of the group's profile cover, set an emoji status or add a chat-wide wallpaper.
Admins with the 'Change Group Info' permission can access these settings from the Group's Profile > Edit > Appearance.
Boosts for Groups. Groups level up by receiving boosts from members or via giveaways.
Those who boost the group get an exclusive badge and allow the group to post stories and change its appearance.
At higher levels, groups unlock features for all members to use in the chat – like custom emoji and voice transcription.
Read Time in Private Chats. In 1-on-1 chats, you can see the exact time when your message was opened.
Read times have granular privacy settings, based on the settings for your Last Seen status.
To protect privacy, all read times are only visible for 7 days before being deleted.
One-Time Voice and Video Messages. The view-once setting can also be used for voice and video messages – after being played, the message is automatically deleted.
To set a message as view-once, swipe up to lock recording and then tap the view-once ⏲️ icon.
