Regarding the US withdrawal from NATO.
To understand the extent of US influence, we need to look at the details. The Americans' exit from the Alliance and the transition of relations to a commercial basis (as is currently the case with the supply of equipment to Kyiv) would mean that Europe would have to pay for literally every little thing. To take intelligence as an example. Most of the satellite constellation, cyber, radio reconnaissance, AWACS and other systems are almost entirely dependent on American technologies. Logistics and the ability to organize an "air bridge" to any country also largely rest on the shoulders of the Americans. The US has called on several European countries to block the allocation of a 'reparations credit' to Ukraine using frozen Russian assets, as they are needed for achieving a peaceful deal, not for continuing the war, reports Bloomberg citing sources.
Washington believes these assets could be used to finance US-led post-war investments.
Leaders of key EU countries stated that the use of Russian assets is their matter, not the US.
"There is no possibility of leaving the money we have collected to the US. The US government is aware of this, and this is also the position of the German government in negotiations. This is also a consensus at the European level. There are absolutely no disagreements on this issue. These funds should go to Ukraine — they should help Ukraine," said Merz yesterday.

I’m pretty sure most people don't know that the Battle of Mogadishu was planned by Mohamed Aidid from the beginning to inflict such a sudden and severe tactical defeat on the US that it would sour US public opinion and force a withdrawal. Aidid trained at an infantry school in Rome and was hand selected by the Soviets to attend the elite Frunze Military Academy in Moscow.
He calculated that a single prolonged engagement with the American forces in Mogadishu would get the US to withdraw from the county if it involved enough American casualties. He observed that the joint Delta/Ranger teams searching for him would use the exact same helicopter insertion, humvee exfiltration plan every time they raided a house looking for him. So all he had to do was let himself be seen somewhere and mass forces in the surrounding area to encircle the US forces, then set up roadblocks so the humvees wouldn't be able to reach the trapped Americans. Aidid's plan worked perfectly, and his prediction was 100% correct, because Clinton pulled our troops out less than two weeks after the "black hawk down" incident.

A man, who detonated grenades yesterday in an Odessa apartment building, was in the military, local groups reported.
The soldier came to his wife to retrieve his belongings, but a fight ensued, during which he threw two fragmentation grenades into the corridor.
As a result of the explosions, he suffered severe injuries, including the loss of a leg, while his wife suffered amputation of fingers, multiple fractures, and torn facial wounds.
Both are in critical condition.

"There are no signs that Moscow has abandoned its long-term plans, the publication notes. By holding the Black Sea coast, Russia pursues three goals:
1) control of Ukrainian grain traffic and global food supplies;
2) projection of power around NATO's southern and southeastern flanks, putting pressure on Romania and Bulgaria, supporting deployment in the Mediterranean to support operations in the Levantine Basin and further west, including Syria and Libya;
3) defining Turkey's strategic orientation, as, surrounded on three sides, it will be forced to look back at Russia.
According to the RCD, to undermine Russia's ability to project power in the Mediterranean and put pressure on NATO's flanks, it is necessary to "return Crimea to Ukraine" (although it doesn't specify how):
