The system ID is a unique identification of your system over its entire life cycle. So far, entering a system ID is optional. As of SIMATIC PCS 7 V10.0, the system ID will be a mandatory property of a multi-project. In this entry, you will get all the important information about this change.
What is a system ID?
The system ID is a unique identification of your system over its entire life cycle.
The system ID is assigned to your PCS 7 project by entering it in the properties of the multiproject in the SIMATIC Manager. So far, entering a system ID is optional. As of SIMATIC PCS 7 V10.0, the system ID will be a mandatory property of a multi-project. Without a valid system ID, the multiproject can no longer be opened. Even when upgrading an older project, the system ID must first be entered.
How to obtain a system ID?
The system ID must be requested over https://myregistration.siemens.com/.
Make sure that the unique SID is known plant-wide to all persons involved who may create a Support Request.

Why do I need a system ID?
The system ID, together with your system information, is stored centrally at Siemens Technical Support. This allows us to offer you better, more personalized and more efficient support.

When do I need a system ID?
A system ID is required to use the SIMATIC PCS 7 V10.0 software. This also applies to all SUS customers.
Beginning July 22nd, 2024, you will need for all PCS 7 versions a System ID (SID) to create a PCS 7 Support Request.

Do I also need a system ID for test projects without a productive purpose?
Projects that are only used for test and demonstration purposes also require a system ID. It can be requested as described above.

یک نکته دوستان وقتی آپگرید کنید که مجبور هستید از نرم افزار نسخه بالاتر برای یک PLC استفاده کنید مثل اگر PLC ‌شما دارای فرم ویر 4.2 هست شما میتونید فقط از تیا 14 تا 15 استفاده کنید و اگر HSP اونو در ورژن 16 ندارید در نتیجه لازمه به نسخه 4.4.4 فرمویر رو آپگرید کنید.

بعضی دوستان از پیامی که همیشه بر روی صفحه اول باز شدن PCS7 می آید، سوال می‌کنند. زیمنس برای شناسایی اند یوزر یا بهره بردار نهایی پروژه رو شناسایی کنند که ادعا شده برای بهتر فراهم کردند کمک و داکیومنت! هست. با این حال با جدی شدن موضوع اینترنت اشیا و استاندارد INDUSTRY 4.0 میشه گفت هدف آینده مثل تیا پرتال حذف کامل نرم افزار هست و استفاده از کلود و ویرچوال ماشین های تحت وب جهت کاهش واسطه و افزایش بهره وری مالی شرکت ها.
