🤔 It’s the end of the weekend. Hopefully you’ve taken time to recharge and you’re ready to get to work tomorrow. If not, ask yourself why? What went wrong? Is there something you could have done different?
Then next weekend, make sure you do that. Make a commitment to make the most of your time off.
🏠 Tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) is the biggest trend in blockchain today. It’s expected to be a $30 trillion sector within a decade. Like stablecoins, it’s not a “cool” use case, but it’s happening, and it’s happening fast and at scale.
We’re still at an early stage, but expect hiring in this area to pick up.
⛏ Cambridge University’s Centre for Alternative Finance has just released their updated report on Bitcoin mining. Yet another report shows that over half (52.4%) of the Bitcoin network is now powered by zero-emission energy sources, up from 37% in their last report.
The narrative that “Bitcoin is bad for the environment” is finally changing.
😰 Someone just paid $4.77M for a trading lesson. Tried shorting $ETH with 25x leverage on Hyperliquid. Started with $5.08M and walked away with $310K. All in 8 hours.
The market doesn’t forgive. It teaches. Brutally, but fair.
⚖️ Stablecoins gaining momentum. Again. Meta's back in the crypto chat, planning to add stablecoin payments across its platforms. In the US, lawmakers are still stuck trying to push through the GENIUS Act, the first serious shot at regulating them. No luck so far.
Ripple’s CEO is all for it. Says stablecoins are clear, usable, and ready for mass adoption. Sure, they’re centralized, but without that, crypto won’t go mainstream.
💍 CZ nailed it: if you don’t understand what you bought, you won’t survive the drop. Bought Bitcoin because “everyone’s doing it”? Then you’ll sell the moment it dips.
Confidence comes from understanding tech, money, and how the world works. Educate yourself. Awareness holds better than diamond hands.
📺 While the market’s busy with drama, TRON keeps building quietly. CryptoQuant named it one of the most stable and decentralized blockchains with high throughput.
Block efficiency at 99.7%, super rep updates up 68% since 2020. Nice to see a network that’s actually being improved.
💥 The dev job market is collapsing not just in crypto. It’s a global shift. The old “send a CV and wait” model is dead. Now it’s about building, sharing your work, and proving your skills in public.
Web3 rewards those who don’t give up. Maybe this is the sign you’ve been waiting for.
💳 Revolut Bank now supports Bitcoin payments via the Lightning Network. A $48B fintech giant with over 50 million users is making a serious move toward scalability.
For now, it’s EU-only, but the wheels are turning. Fast and cheap BTC transactions are getting closer.
🪙 Big day for Ethereum. The Pectra upgrade is coming, and it’s not just technical. It’s a shift in how users experience Ethereum: smart wallets, gas paid in any token, cheaper L2s, scalable staking without the 32 ETH limit.
This time, it’s not about devs. It’s about everyone. Watch it unfold live here.
👻 Jeffy Yu, 22, creator of the AI project Zerebro, has reportedly died by suicide. But things got weird after, his wallets stayed active. $100k in ZEREBRO sales, a new token launch, LLJEFFY trades — all after his death.
Even the Legacy obituary platform deleted his tribute. No answers, just questions.
🤔 Have we lost the plot? Some say Crypto’s now an insider game. Retail is just exit liquidity. Rugs on Pump.fun, invite-only token launches, sniper-only memes. ETH and DOGE are stuck.
This isn’t retail’s market anymore and won’t be until the rules change.
💻 Critical bug in Solana fixed fast, but raised new questions. The flaw could’ve let attackers mint tokens or drain wallets. Devs and validators patched it in just two days.
Now people are asking: if decisions this big happen so quickly and quietly, how decentralized is it really?
💸 Charlie Shrem is launching a modern Bitcoin faucet. One of the OG Bitcoin entrepreneurs is behind 21million.com, a project inspired by Gavin Andresen’s legendary faucet.
Just like in 2010, users will earn small BTC rewards for simple tasks like solving CAPTCHAs. It’s not 5 BTC per click anymore but the comeback feels nostalgic and symbolic.
💱 For the first time, $BTC was transferred directly between the Bitcoin and Cardano networks without using bridges. May 4, 2025, just made blockchain history. It’s surely a step toward a more decentralized, secure, and interoperable future.
$ETH, $SOL — you’re on the clock.
Innovation doesn’t care about limits. We keep building real value 💪
🧑💻 Speaking of Hiring… The Web3 job market moves fast. One day it’s quiet, the next full throttle. Infra, L2s, and AI x crypto are picking up again.
Good timing makes all the difference, just saying.
🤯 How would you like 184 billion BTC? I know, the whole point is there are only 21 million BTC, right? Well, on August 15, 2010, a bug in Bitcoin block 74638 accidentally created 184.4 billion BTC. The error was quickly fixed by Satoshi and the mining community.
However, it’s a reminder that vulnerabilities can appear in even the most secure blockchains, especially at the early stages.
🔐 Always use https, not http. That little “s” means your connection is encrypted and no one can spy on your data. Without it, anything you send (like wallet keys or login info) is exposed.
No https equals no trust.
👮♀️ Another one down: eXch platform busted, €34M and full IT infra seized. ZachXBT says they were laundering dirty crypto from major hacks: Bybit, FixedFloat, even the $243M hit on Genesis creditors. A whole system built to cash out stolen funds.
In crypto, staying hidden is becoming a myth.
🪙 Will you be able to pay with crypto in GTA 6? Rumors say devs are either working on blockchain integration or just using crypto in the plot.
Either way, GTA 6 is now the most hyped release for both gamers and crypto folks. May 2026, we wait.
🧠 If it bothers you how much data AI apps are storing, then try one that doesn’t. Grok is one example.
However, there are pros and cons. Starting every interaction as a fresh conversation means it’s harder to work on ongoing projects. The AI has no context about you, or what you’re working on.
🤔 Hackers hacked the hackers? LockBit’s site—run by a ransomware-as-a-service gang—was compromised. Leaked: BTC wallets, private keys, chats, affiliate data.
An anonymous hacker left a note: “Don’t do crime, crime is bad. xoxo from Prague.”
Peak cyber irony 💀
💰 Over $45M was stolen from Coinbase users last week through social engineering scams, according to ZackXBT.
Scammers are getting smarter. Attacks are getting sharper.
Stay sharp too:
✦ Never share your seed phrase
✦ Don’t click shady links
✦ Enable 2FA
Protect yourself and your crypto 🛡
🧠 AI apps have likely already collected a lot of data about you. Likes, dislikes, interests, health issues, values, skills, and more. A little scary. But try putting it to good use.
Ask ChatGPT or another AI you use often to tell you some things you may not have realized about yourself. Use this as a starting point to explore new opportunities. For anything from hobbies to a new career.
⚠️ ScamSniffer warns: fake “HyperSwap” ads are topping Google search. These links lead to phishing sites that can drain your wallet in one click.
Never use ads. Always access DeFi through official sources.
✈️ Bhutan, with Binance Pay and DK Bank, just launched the world’s first national crypto tourism payment system. Hotels, tours, anything is now payable in crypto.
Other countries should take notes. Borderless travel is already here.
😅 How long have you been in Web3? If it’s over a year, you’re doing well. Over two? Nice going! Anyone been here five or more years?
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in your time in Web3?
💊 Nikko rolled out a full-body scanner that checks your health in 20 seconds. 70 sensors, 2,000 images, 50 million data points, all crunched by AI. Finds what regular checkups miss, even if you feel fine.
Costs about the same as a basic medical exam. No lines, no guessing. Just sci-fi-level diagnostics, now real.
⛔️ Bitcoin Core will remove the OP_RETURN limit in the next release. The change — allowing more arbitrary data in transactions — triggered backlash. Many call it risky and unnecessary.
Some suggest freezing at version 29.0 or switching to Bitcoin Knots. Strange move from the devs, given the clear resistance.
📲 How much time do you spend scrolling X or other socials? How much of that is actually useful? What if you used that time to learn something, even through short, targeted videos?
Language, skill, insight. Do it often enough, it becomes a superpower. So, what do you really want to learn?
