▶️In the Dagestani village of Tsovkra, almost every resident is involved in rope walking. They ride a rope on a bicycle, even though it is only eight millimetres wide.
Previously only boys were taught this ancient art, but now girls are being included as well. ‘There are no children now, very few. Not enough boys’, said Ramazan Gadzhiev, director of the Tsovkryn rope-walking school.

💀The mysterious story of Napoleon's best friend: the remains of French General Gudin were lost for several centuries. He was killed during the War of 1812 in Russia.
Only in 2019 did a Russian-French archaeological expedition find the burial site. 'It wasn't a one-in-100 chance, it was one-in-1,000!' says Alexander Khokhlov, one of the participants. Two years later, General Gudin's body was sent to France.

Сobalt mining provides a livelihood for many Congolese. The material is used to make lithium-ion batteries for smartphones and laptops. Mining is an exhausting and health-damaging labour, but people see no other way of earning a living. Men extract the cobalt ore from the pits while women and children wash and sort it. And if some work to earn money for food, others do it in hope of making enough money for university. This way, they will have a slight chance of leaving this life and helping their families.

There were 309,000 casualties in the Crimean War (1853-1856) around the city of Sevastopol. It breaks down as follows: 153,000 Russians, 95,000 French, and 23,000 British soldiers. The war was a precursor to WW1. An international group of scientists travelled to Sevastopol to excavate and identify the remains of fallen soldiers in the Crimean War. Modern reconstruction methods helped restore the appearances and ranks of the fallen soldiers, while amazing stories of the war were revealed.

Commander of the assault platoon ‘Crimea’ battalion with callsign ‘Taygan’ is a Cossack. Although he’d never seen combat before, he went to the front line to defend Donbass from the Ukrainian Nazis. His car is riddled with bullets – it has been in many combat situations and saved the military men more than once.

▶️ Our premiere of ‘Voices From the Grave’ uncovers the stories of Donbass civilians who died at the hands of Ukrainian forces. Witnesses reveal the truth of their brutal murders.
A search team is looking for the Donbass burial sites of the nationalists’ victims. They also identify the bodies and determine how the people were killed. Most of the deaths are evidence of Ukraine's use of prohibited methods of warfare, and the war crimes it has committed. ‘[This is] the use of ‘human shield’ tactics, torture and violence, shelling civilian sites, wiping out the civilian population,’ confirms the adviser to LPR Head, Interagency Working Group Field Team director, Anna Soroka.
The documentary was filmed by military filmmakers Olga Kiriy and Artyom Somov. It includes the stories of survivors after the capture of cities by militants, as well as testimony from the killers themselves.

▶️In Rio’s slums, people are between two warring camps. On the one hand - drug gangs, and on the other hand - the police. As a result, there are constant shootings in the favelas. Bullets fly through family homes, and women and children frequently get caught in the crossfire. ‘When I go to school, I’m scared they could shoot me by mistake,’ says a Brazilian schoolboy.
