A quick post with the latest visa/immigration news from different countries around the world 🌍.

- United Kingdom 🇬🇧: The UK government has updated the list of organizations licensed to sponsor workers under the Worker and Temporary Worker immigration routes. (Source)

- Spain 🇪🇸: Extremadura is offering grants of up to €15,000 to attract digital nomads and remote workers, aiming to revitalize rural areas and boost the local economy through this initiative. (Source)

- Denmark 🇩🇰: Starting on September 1, 2024, Denmark launched a new Working Holiday quota for citizens of Chile 🇨🇱 and Argentina 🇦🇷. The program allows up to 150 young Argentinians and Chileans to live and work in Denmark for one year, with permits issued on a first-come, first-served basis. (Source)

- United States 🇺🇸: The EB-3, EW, and EB-5 visa categories have reached their annual limits, affecting many applicants. The caps will reset on October 1, 2024, with the start of the new fiscal year. (Source)

- South Korea 🇰🇷: On January 1, 2024, South Korea introduced a digital nomad visa, allowing remote workers employed abroad (and their families) to stay in the country for up to two years, provided they earn twice the average national income. (Source)

- Qatar 🇶🇦: Qatar has launched the Mustaqel residency visa to attract top-tier entrepreneurs and skilled professionals, aiming to establish itself as a global talent and innovation hub. (Source)

- Greece 🇬🇷: Starting in September 2024, Greece increased the minimum investment requirement for its Golden Visa program to €800,000 in certain regions. Additionally, the Digital Nomad Visa now requires a minimum monthly income of €3,500 for single applicants. (Source)

- Canada 🇨🇦: Visitors coming to Canada can no longer apply for a work permit from within the country during their stay. (Source)
