i7 4790K, Radeon RX 570, asus Z97C Monterey boot loop
Hey,
I have problem with booting Mac OS Monterey after update from Big Sur,
First of all I changed my mac from iMac15,1 to iMac17,1 and on BigSur and all works perfect, but after update to Monterey (normal update inside MacOS) it go to boot loop:
1. Normal boot logs
2. Gray screen
3. Apple logo with progress bar stuck at beginning for few seconds
4. Logs and reboot.

HELP Is anyone bored enough to help me ? Haswell expert/connoisseur needed
Hi everyone,
I am new to all this, and I'm looking for a person with enough free time and experience to provide a solution to my problem. I apologize if I made any mistake in presenting the actual post.
I believe someone with deep experience might find the whole thing easy, as a noob like me in the hackintosh field only has a 12 hour experience, but I am pretty positive I can follow any instruction if I ever find appropriate ones... For the moment, due to the lack of documents on this specific machine and scenario, I let LLM's help me, but to no avail.
I have a ToughPad FZ-G1 (FZ-G1FA-50BE, MK2, i5 4310U 2.00Ghz 2.59ghz) 8GB RAM 256SSD from 2014
There are 2.00 to 3.00ghz models, mine is 2.00 to 2.59ghz. There are also Ivy Bridge models apparently, but mine defo seems to be Haswell.
Im trying to run High Sierra on it, as I've seen hackintosh run in the past on this type of machine (FZ-G1 although with exact model I can't know), so I actually went on to find a Haswell notebook EFI folder, and tried tinkering with the config.plist file and kexts to make it as close as possible as what the hardware would need. I've read the EFI prebuilt note, but what's the point of trying to build the whole thing now as long as my comprehension is limited ?
It obviously started with many errors which caused me to activate -v at some point in the boot-args and get rid of every error I saw in the logs, one by one, until I was left with reboot loops after "end random seed" , as I did not have any other approach or examples to help. Not being an expert in this field, my failure does not surprise me, but still it is irritating :)))
Activating igfxvesa did not help.
After some more tinkering with boot-args and changing the model from macbook 15,2 to 11,1 I found a configuration allowing me to reproduce the freeze on the apple logo (without igfxvesa); whatever actual model I was entering in the config.plist (BQAmCg etc.) it behaved same, selects the installer, then freezes on apple logo.
Testing some more boot-args got me to the Apple Logo and straight out to the 🚫 screen once, but after trying other configs and going back to this specific one, I was not able to reproduce the 🚫 a second time and got stuck again at apple logo. That was honestly weird because I was methodic in what I tried and went back exactly to the known boot-args and settings causing it in the first place.
It's stuck both in graphical and verbose mode, and that last one is how I know I still made no progress regarding the end random seed message, although it does not reboot on its own anymore and now stays stuck, both in -v or not, the only change being the apple logo showing when not in -v mode, which I do not consider as a symptom of progress or success, I do not wish to be fooled by it. A progress bar would be an actual sign, I guess.
So, right after selecting Install macos High Sierra in OpenCore :
"Choose the operating system : OK
End SetconsoleMode
Start LoadKernelFromStream
Start InitBootStructure
root device uuid is '4922AA16-BC43-3BF5-94CC-8FF7DE6411DD'
End InitBootStruct
Start LoadRAMDisk
End LoadRAMDisk
Start FinalizeBootStruct
Start RandomSeed
End RandomSeed"
config.plist > https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YriHRl0HfBhyOpfL0D5-VazhaTlRFhGv/view?usp=drive\_link
Thanks in advance, I'd be fairly happy if anyone could provide a bit of help :)

Image shifted on UHD 630 (Sonoma & Sequoia)
I managed to install MacOS Sonoma through the official guide. But after the 2nd boot the image got weird. It's shifted to the left (and the most right pixel is repeated to fill the screen) and down.
This is not an issue with overscan, with my monitor, with my cable. In the BIOS everything is normal, and if I put back my old SSD with a Catalina installation everything is normal.
And everything was normal during installation and the first boot.
It's also not possible to use the AUTO ADJUST on the monitor, that's only available on VGA and I use DVI.
An update to Sequoia went fine, but the problem remained.

Need help extracting BaseSystem.dmg from Monterey InstallAssistant.pkg on Windows
I'm trying to install macOS Monterey on my HP EliteBook 850 G2. It has an i7-5600U CPU with Intel HD 5500 graphics and 12GB of RAM. I'm running Windows and Ubuntu dual boot. I don’t have a Mac or working macOS VM right now.
I used gibMacOS on Windows to download macOS Monterey. It finished downloading and gave me the full InstallAssistant.pkg file which is about 12GB in size. Now I'm trying to use the MakeInstall.bat tool from gibMacOS to create a bootable recovery USB but it's asking for the BaseSystem.dmg and BaseSystem.chunklist files inside a com.apple.recovery.boot folder. I can't find them.
I extracted the InstallAssistant.pkg using 7-Zip and got the Payload. Then I navigated to the Applications > Install macOS Monterey.app > Contents directory. But there’s no SharedSupport folder or any InstallESD.dmg. I only see some XML and JSON files inside AssetData and a couple of ZIP files.
I also get some errors while extracting saying I don’t have permission to create symbolic links which I guess is a Windows limitation
I do have an ISO file of Monterey too. I’m not sure if I can just use that instead of trying to extract BaseSystem manually. I also once managed to run Catalina in VirtualBox a long time ago so if using a VM is the only way I can try that again
So what’s the best option here Should I keep trying to extract BaseSystem from InstallAssistant.pkg or is there an easier method I’m fine using the ISO if it works I just want to get the recovery files needed to make the USB
Any help would be really appreciated thanks

Greetings I am on my 4th Hackintosh build using an AMD CPU and GPU overall quite good performance and no issues.
I use my system mainly for video editing and browsing web and bunch of stuff from my iPhone on the cloud makes it easier to work my stuffs
However the recent news about end of life for Hackintosh keeps me wondering if it’s the dead end or should I really save money to finally get a real Mac instead because in my country Macs cost quarter the price of a car!

Kernel panic with SSDT-PLUG-ALT and hanging on "Registered CoreAnalyticsHub functions with xnu.virtual boot CoreAnalyticsHub::start(IOService )::229:CoreAnalyticsHub start completed" without it
Essentially whenever I boot with my default config I get stuck on the following message:
"Registered CoreAnalyticsHub functions with xnu.virtual boot CoreAnalyticsHub::start(IOService \ )::229:CoreAnalyticsHub start completed"
I tried swapping kexts, throwing around different ACPIs (from Dortania's repos and SSDTTime), adding boot arguments, and nothing worked.
..until I added SSDT-PLUG-ALT.aml. That somehow got around the message. So everything's fine now... right? It's all fine and dandy now?
No. When I boot with SSDT-PLUG-ALT, I get the AppleACPIPlatform kernel panic (looks similar to https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/kx40qd/kernel_panic_when_installing_high_sierra_using) and once again, I tried swapping kexts, ACPIs, and arguments.
Couldn't get around it. So, now I'm stuck and I need some help.

HELP NEEDED | Intel AX210 Sequoia 15.5 Bluetooth
SPECS:
AMD Ryzen 7 3700u (laptop)
Vega 10 graphics patched with Nootedred kext
12gb DDR4
(Currently running macOS off an external USB SSD because my Samsung NVMe isn't compatible and I've got a WD NVMe drive coming from eBay)
Intel AX210 wireless card
I'm trying to get Bluetooth working on a Sequoia 15.5 hack. Nothing seems to work, Bluetooth auto toggles off after a few seconds.
What I've tried:
\- Firmware+Patcher+Fixup kexts, in the correct order with Lilu at the very top. Latest versions from Github.
\-NVRAM entries for Donglefailed and ControllerInfo, with 28 '0's
\-Secure boot disabled
\-btlfxallowanyaddr arg
The Bluetooth controller shows up under About This Mac - System Report - USB so it isn't a mapping issue. I got WiFi working by following the Sequoia guide without any problems.

New to the sub, is there a certain platform that's least effort to get running?
I need to run FCP for some collabs and have boatloads of Wintel hardware at my disposal. Have you guys gotten it running on modern commodity hardware (Asus/MSI mobos), or is a standard platform like NUC better supported?
