Dell OptiPlex 3060 SFF - HDMI Port Not Detected, DisplayPort Works Fine....HELP!
Hey everyone! I successfully installed macOS on my Dell OptiPlex 3060 SFF, but I'm having trouble getting the HDMI port to work. DisplayPort works perfectly, but macOS won't detect my HDMI display at all.
Hardware:
Model: Dell OptiPlex 3060 SFF (Small Form Factor)
CPU: Intel Core i5-8500 (Coffee Lake)
iGPU: Intel UHD Graphics 630
RAM: 8GB
macOS Version: macOS Tahoe (26.x)
Video Ports on motherboard:
1x DisplayPort (working ✓)
1x HDMI (not detected ✗)
1x VGA (not using)
What I've Tried:
HDMI port works perfectly in Windows, so it's not a hardware issue
Tested multiple busid values (0x01, 0x04, 0x05, 0x06, 0x00, 0x02)
Tried both HDMI connector type (`00080000`) and DisplayPort type (`00040000`)
Swapped con0 and con1 configurations
Used various framebuffer IDs (`07009B3E` which boots successfully, `0300913E` which black screens)
Enabled WhateverGreen debug flags (-igfxdbg -igfxfbdump) but no useful output
DisplayPort shows up fine, but HDMI doesn't appear in System Preferences → Displays at all.
Question: Has anyone successfully gotten dual displays working on a Dell OptiPlex 3060 (or similar Coffee Lake Dell system) with the iGPU? What framebuffer patches did you use?

Should I use my home appleid?
I really want to use iMessage, but I don’t want to deal with an account ban
I currently have an iPhone and Apple Watch, and I’m in a family who pays for Apple one. My appleid is a few years old.
I saw a Reddit comment that said that appleids that are older and are paying or have verified other devices are less susceptible to getting banned.
Can someone give me advice on whether or not to use my home appleid on Tahoe OpenCore simplify?
(Yes I know stop yelling at me I tried OpenCore and yes I think I understand it I just couldn’t get it working)

Can’t use wifi and usb ports after update from Monterey to Sequoia
Hello everyone. I am new to the hackintosh community and yesterday I successfully installed macOS Monterey on my Dell laptop Inspiron 5482 (CPU: Intel Core i7-8565U; GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620; RAM: 16Go; Wireless Network Adapter: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 9xxx series).
But I wanted to update my laptop from Monterey to Sequoia so I changed my SMBIOS and then I successfully upgraded to Sequoia. But the upgrade added two problems:
1 - None of my USB Ports are functioning
2 - My WiFi and Bluetooth are not working anymore.
And now I am stuck because I need the USB Ports to repair my WiFi and i need WiFi to repair my USB ports…
If someone can provide me any help or piece of information that could help me out I’ll be more than grateful! Thank you!

Stuttering in games on Sequoia
I just finished installing sequoia on my pc and tried playing roblox Minecraft and superhot. The stuttering was so bad it made the games practically unplayable. I am well aware that macos is not for gaming but its awful. Any way I could fix this issue ?

Put hackintoshing on CV as a hobby?
I work in IT and I wonder if I should put hackintoshing on my CV. I know it’s not officially supported by Apple, and might break their TC, but I think it’s a relevant hobby which makes you even know more about IT. Could qualify more.

Hi guys, after a long time since I made my first Hackintosh on my old desktop PC, I decided to dedicate myself to a new personal project: successfully making a Hackintosh on my laptop.
I'm addressing you as a community because the first time I relied entirely on Dortania's OpenCore Guide, but in this case I'm not sure how well it would work, so I'm attaching my specifications.
Brand: Lenovo
Model: IdeaPad S340-15API
Type: 81NC
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700U
GPU: Vega 10 (iGpu)
RAM: 20GB (4GB base + 16GB added)
Storage: NVME SSD Samsung 1TB (replaced the original 64GB eMMC)
Bios: UEFI (installed last version yesterday)
I was wondering if it would still be possible to build this Hackintosh with these specifications, since Dortania's guide doesn't officially support AMD laptops (AMD CPU+iGPU combos). I've seen that many people have succeeded, and I've also read Chefkiss's guide, which references nootedred, and I've also watched this video.
I'd mainly like to know if it's worth the time and effort (since I'd like to use this laptop for taking university notes, programming, watching YouTube, Netflix, etc.) before I even begin the whole process. I welcome any suggestions or criticisms and hope you can point me in the right direction to the right resources to help me succeed with this project.
PS: I would also like to know up to which version of MacOS I can go and what is best for me (including the reference SMBIOS)

No Signal after verbose boot
Hi all
I manged to install MacOS Ventura on my PC with a vey low resolution and only 3MB display.Then I installed NVIDIA Web Drivers using OCLP and after that I can't get any signal after the verbose boot is over
Im using GT 730 (GF108 its not kepler in fermi based)

Intel HD Graphics 4000 drivers for macos tahoe.
I've successfully installed macOS Tahoe on my 13-inch mid 2012 macbook (i know its a mac and not a hackintosh but drivers for the Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU should be the same across both on macOS) pro by upgrading from Ventura (now ive good 5 versions of macOS installed on this mac unnecessarily), obviously it has no drivers at all and runs like sht due to that, I was able to get the built in keyboard and mouse to work on Tahoe using i method that im pretty sure is made for hackintoshing, i already has windows installed and mapped my USB port on windows because the only guides i could find to get it working were for hackintoshing and they required a USBMap.kext file and a USBToolBox.kext file, so i just got them in windows. It allowed me to finally log into my Tahoe install, runs like sht though without graphics drivers, so I tried to search for some online and came to an immediate dead end (didnt surprise me at all), so now im hear asking if anyone has graphics drivers for the Intel HD Graphics 4000 for macOS Tahoe, not sure that anyone is but posting here incase.

Acer Aspire E5-575G Hackintosh - Anyone Running Latest Sequoia or Tahoe? (Already Ran Ventura)
Hey everyone,
I’ve previously managed to get macOS Ventura running on my Acer Aspire E5-575G, but I’m wondering if anyone has pushed this laptop to run the latest macOS version. Now I need to upgrade to macOS Sequoia or Tahoe because I want to install the latest Xcode my iPhone is already on the newest iOS version, and I need the latest SDK to build and test apps.
Specs:
• Intel HD 620 (iGPU)
• NVIDIA 940MX (I know this won’t work — planning to keep it disabled)
• 16GB RAM
• SSD installed
Since I already had Ventura working, I’m curious:
1. Has anyone gotten Sequoia (or newer) to run on this model?
2. Any required patches or issues with Intel 620 graphics on the newer versions?
3. If you have an EFI for a similar 7th-gen Acer laptop, could you share your experience?
4. Is Xcode performance acceptable on this hardware?
If anyone has Hackintoshed a similar setup, please drop your comments really appreciate it!

I'm a complete noob. Are these stupid questions?
So I have an old Macbook Pro (2007, Tiger) that died years ago (logic board died apparently).
In theory there should be nothing wrong with the HD and I'd love to get access to it again (lots of music I made in Logic Pro, etc).
Is it even feasible to do something Hackintosh-ish so that I could plug that old HD into my PC and boot into it, or do Hackintoshs only work with fresh installs?
FWIW after watching this video I did download and ran OpCore-Simplify out of curiosity to get a hardware report and it said everything was fine up to Tahoe.
