Trying to install Sonoma on a Asus vivobook 16x
Hi so I am trying to install Sonoma on a asus vivobook 16x and I found a asus vivobook 15 EFI file on GitHub https://github.com/LeeBinder/Asus-Vivobook-S510UA-Hackintosh but once I start to boot in Sonoma my computer & stalls during the verbose and doesn’t do the loading phase of it. Does anyone now what to change in the 15’s file to make it work

How to get around KEXTs when compiling XNU?
I want to build the latest Darwin from source, and though a lot is still unplanned, one major issue is building the latest xnu?
Why TF would I do this when I could literally just use PureDarwin?

HackBook Pro 7 and Brydge 12,3 Pro+
Hey there Hackers.
I use a MS Surface Pro 7 (i5 10th Gen.) as my Hackintosh, that's why the funky name.
I always loved the design of the bridge bl keyboards so I bought the 12,3 pro+ for MS Surface Pro 3-7 for relatively cheap. NO to my problem: I can connect to it with my iPad, I can connect to it with my iPhone. I can connect to it with my windows pc(s) but for what ever reason I cannot connect to it with the HackBook. Any ideas why and or solutions?

Cirque I2C Touchpad not Working on Lenovo Yoga 6 AMD
I am a touchpad away from an excellent AMD based laptop running Sonoma. The VoodooI2C AMD implementation by ChefKissInc is driving both the touchpad and touchscreen in GPIO mode. The annoying defunct piece is that the touchpad only works in Generic Mouse mode. The touchpad is a CIRQ 1080 and if I put it in either Multitouch or Precision Touchpad mode, the touchpad does not function. I have exhausted searching and troubleshooting efforts to conquer this hardware. I only found one other request for help with this touchpad make/model (in Alexandred's VoodooI2C Gitter room); unfortunately, no resolution. I don't know much about HID drivers to determine how to proceed (dmesg logs for Voodoo initialization don't show errors and are very similar to my LG Gram).

Patching iGPU device id with opencore
Hi,
I'm currently trying to use opencore in order to spoof the device id of my HD Graphics 4400. In order to do so, i've added the device id an platform identifier of an HD Graphics 4000 in my config file:
Root
- DeviceProperties
- Add
- PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)
- AAPL,ig-platform-id (Set to data and <01006601>)
- device-id (Set to data and <66010000>)
However, when booting osx 10.8 (need an older version, vm has no acceleration) the GPU is still not being recognized and it hangs after missing bluetooth transport.

An important aspect that was difficult for me to find a solution was the graphics acceleration. When trying different devices-id values, I found that depending on the value I set, the screen looked oversaturated, and practically unreadable. I solved this by putting "lilucpu=8" in bootargs. With this I managed to have hardware acceleration and for the colors to work correctly.
Although most things work correctly, there are some others that I have not yet been able to solve. For example, although the trackpad works, I cannot access the advanced gesture options. Also, I can't adjust the brightness of the built-in screen, and airdrops don't work either. Surely there are several things that I haven't tested yet, but I have managed to build a completely functional hack.
I appreciate any kind of suggestions or help on solving the trackpad gestures and brightness! And also feel free to ask any question

Second part of installation is boot looping on macOS Sonoma
So the first part of the installation was finished than if moved on the second part of the installation the one with the apple logo and the amount of time on the bottom it saids there is 28 minutes left in the installation but it freezes reboots than it goes back doing the same thing

Been successfully installed macOS Ventura 13.6.9 on a Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 with an AMD processor, achieving a fully functional Hackintosh setup. The installation process involved configuring OpenCore, applying AMD-specific patches, and mapping the USB ports correctly. After a few tweaks, all hardware components, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio, graphics, and the trackpad, are working flawlessly. The system runs smoothly, with no performance issues, and sleep/wake functionality is perfect. Overall, the installation was a success, and the ThinkPad now macbook look-alike.

So the first part of the installation of macOS Sonoma was finished so it restarted to start the second part of the installation but it only showed my windows partition and the install macOS Sonoma usb drive what keeps on going wrong my specs are

Fiz cagada e preciso de ajuda.
Eu fui fazer um dual boot em um ssd com windows11 e macOS catalina, aconteceu alguma coisa durante a fase que se escolhe qual disco e partição instalar o macOS, depois disso o meu SSD simplesmente não consegue bootar o windows, tentei reparar, rebuildar o bcd e o CMD me mostrou a seguinte mensagem: "Total de instalações identificadas do Windows: 0". Oque isso significa? alguém pode me ajudar a reverter esse problemasso? URGENTE!!
