Blackscreen after verbose
Hello, I'm a beginner attempting to install Hackintosh on my system, but I've encountered an issue during the boot process. When I boot into the USB, the commands run, and after a few seconds, the screen goes off, and nothing happens.
System Specifications:
Motherboard: GIGABYTE F2A68HM-DS2
CPU: AMD A4-6300
GPU: Nvidia GT 630
RAM: 4GB DDR3
Audio Codec: Realtek High Definition
Storage: 500GB HDD SATA
Ethernet Card: Realtek GbE Family Controller
Installation Details: macOS Version: Big Sur 11. SMBIOS iMacPro1,1
Guide Followed: ChefKissInc. and Dortania OpenCore
Issue Description: After following the guide meticulously, the commands run during boot from the USB, but the screen goes off after a few seconds, and the PC seems unresponsive.
BIOS Settings: Secure Boot off, Fast Boot off, EHCI/XHCI off, IOMMU off, Sata Mode : AHCI, Serial/COM Port off
As a beginner, I would appreciate clear explanations and guidance to troubleshoot and resolve this issue. Any assistance you can provide will be immensely helpful. Use Bluetooth without usb map kext?
Hello,
I have hackintoshed my hp 840 g6 a while back (check my old posts about that) but since then i have never been able to use sleep mode with Bluetooth working. I mapped my usb ports correctly and per the guide, word to word, and it just refused to work or even function correctly, but when i set it to sleep, it wakes up after a second. And the only way to fix that is by removing the usb map kext entirely. But then Bluetooth doesnt work because there is no usb map kext.
I tried re-doing the usb ports multiple times, disabled all wake-on-<insert feature> in the bios, and patched the ssdts in the sleep-issue post install guide.
I even tried using u/vsta2018 efi which was much better than mine, but had the same exact issue on my laptop (i have to mention his is for sonoma).
Now i dont need a usb map kext, i am fine with using usb 2.0 speeds. Also fine with usb-c port being useless on macos since i dual-boot with linux and i can use them on there, but i genuinely just want Bluetooth and sleep mode to work. I am very close to just giving up on this project but i dont want to waste the three days i spent re-learning to get the Opencore efi working on this hardware (long time lurker, but only hackintoshed one laptop few years ago)

TL;DR:
Bluetooth works with a usb map kext, but sleep breaks with a usb map kext, and vice versa when its removed.
Disabling every usb port in Usbmap tool by corpnewt doesn't do anything. Sleep still broken when the kext is in there.

I have a running hackintosh running Big Sur 11.4, I want to upgrade to macOS 12, will this require do the whole process from scratch? Or should be as simple as changing a single file? It took me a lot of time to get it working I have X99 and Radeon 5700XT

Xiaomi AMD 5800H Enable S3 Sleep can't wakeup
As mentioned in the title, Ventura has been successfully installed on my XiaoMi laptop, but it cannot wake up the screen after enabling S3 sleep. When opening the screen, the keyboard background light and sound can be controlled by FN key combination, but the screen is not bright. If it is modern standby mode, everything is normal, but I can't stand the battery life problem and heat of modern standby. Of course, if you need this EFI I can provide, all the hardware is close to perfect.

Hacintosh install freezing
Hello!
I 've run Mac OS Sonmoma on Promxox, it works OK, but I could never get HDMI audio working, so I decided to install MacOS on bare metal, on the same hardware, instead.
The installation works fine untiil when there is exactly 19 minutes left. At that time everything freezes, including mouse and keyboard, the display is still show 19minutes left, forever.
I tried swapping my SSD, a 970 plus to a 990 Pro, since I had it available, but that of course didn't make a difference.
My hardware is:
Asrock x570 PG Riptilde
5950X
6950XTG(running it faked as a 6900XT)
128GB 3200 Ram
Any ideas what I could try?
I read somewhere that someone solved it by doing USB remapping. But that seem to be a unlikley fix. If the USB was wrong it would prevent boot altogether, not after several minutes...
Also, how could I even do thatr without a working MacOS install.

macOS won't boot if I don't have the USB connected
Yesterday I finished making a hackintosh and this time it was on a separate hard drive from the Windows one, but when I tried to insert the EFI folder into the boot disk it did nothing when I restarted and only started Windows. My laptop is an ACER Nitro 5 an515-52 with an i58300h and a 4GB GTX 1050. I had previously made a hackintosh with the same version of macOS Ventura, but it was a partition and Windows ended up consuming that hackintosh.

Memory: 4x8G DDR4 2400MHz, non-ECC

OpenCore 1.0.1 + macOS 14.6.1
Everything works! Although it appears some usb3.0 ports are running at 2.0/1.0 speed but that does bother me at all.
But no matter what I do I can't get macOS to recognize my cpu model. The processor is listed as "Unknown" in About this Mac. I do have RestrictEvents in place blocking memory/PCI configuration warnings.

success!! however....
i have a problem when whatevergreen patch is enabled, after bunch of texts(idk what is called really. used debug efi), apple logo shows up briefly but after that monitor shows no signal for some time. then shows login screen as usual. this might be a gpu patch thing but i dont really know

How to make the screen display through the video card?
# I have an i7 6700k (HD 530) and an RTX 2060, Big Sur is installed, when I connect HDMI to the video card, MacOS does not load and gives an error, when I connect to the motherboard, everything loads, but my monitor is QHD and through the built-in screen is only in FHD, is it possible to connect the screen to the video card?

EFI boot option in open core boot menu
TLDR: got [windows\] [efi\] [mac\] in OC boot menu. Is EFI meant to be there or a leftover to be cleaned up?
Been on my first hackintosh for over a year now - a dual boot Windows and macOS – and it's rock solid overall.
That said, in my open core boot menu I have an EFI option in addition to said Windows and macOS, despite using the hide auxiliary setting (on pressing space other options will appear so hide auxiliary does work).
So this makes me curious: is EFI always meant to be there on the boot screen or is it some leftover that effectively we know for certain is harmless but could be cleaned up and made so that it doesn't show in the boot menu?

Booted Sequoia on Acer Aspire 7. I was already on Sonoma and just had to update the kexts and bootargs and things were good.
Not sharing EFI for now since Sequoia is in Beta right now.
I don't use iServices so can't comment about those.
What doesn't work:

Surface Pro 7 Sequoia Success
Successfully installed Sequoia on my Surface Pro 7!
Only issues I've noticed so far is FaceTime not working (due to limitations preventing camera from working) and bluetooth, I can turn it on but it doesn't find any devices. If anyone has experience with getting bluetooth working please let me know!
Touchscreen is fully functional along with the Surface Pen. Type Cover works great too.
Decided not to dualboot as macOS alone ticks all the boxes for my requirements 😊

Sleep/wake loop
Hi,
I successfully installed macOS Sonoma in my acer nitro 5 AN515-55, Here are the specs:
CPU: Intel i7-10700H
GPU: Intel UHD 630
When i try to close the lid, my laptop goes into sleep and then after 2 seconds it just starts but without display. How can i fix sleep?
