256GB SSD SATA

No Networking and Sound in macOS 12 (Monterey) on a Dell Inspiron 3521
So, on my dell Inspiron 3521 (with an i3-3 Gen Ivy Bridge, and Intel HD4000 iGPU), I somehow managed to get macOS 12 dual booted with macOS 10.14, even though I use an external USB to boot into Monterey, and an internal EFI to boot into macOS 10.14.
I used OCLP to Post Install Root Patch it, and it works great, including most trackpad gestures, but, the sound system, WiFi, Bluetooth do not work.
I mostly care about the sound and WiFi, so if that can be fixed, it would be great.

can't boot back old hackintosh

had build a hackintosh with these and a 5700 xt and it boots
time flies and switched to 3060ti and totally forgot about the hackintosh stuff
rmb today and tried to boot back to retrive some data back in the days
of coz it didnt work
just googled some and disable all gpu except IGPU and it still stuck

OpenCore bricked my late 2013 iMac 27"
Hello! I recently tried to install OpenCore in my late 2013 iMac with Catalina, but it bricked my computer. I went to the OpenCore site and tried to make a bootable USB, but I maybe have skipped or got a step wrong (they were so many :( ). The thing is that now my iMac boots (even with Command+R) with a lot of code/text before it reaches the Install App, where it supposedly starts downloading Catalina (or even on older MacOS) from the web, but when it finishes installing it gives me again the code/text in the start-up. And again, it reaches the Install App.
I've tried erasing the Disk, and I tried to make a bootable USB from another Mac (with no frutition, I don't know what's the problem, I think it's because it's my work laptop and maybe it has some restrictions). But nothing works. It keeps booting with all the text that was left after I tried installing OpenCore.
Please help!

Stuck at "Waiting for DSMOS..." during Big Sur installation on external drive
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install macOS Big Sur on my Hackintosh, but I'm running into some issues. Since I've never been able to get my internal drive recognized by the system, I decided to try installing Big Sur on an external drive instead.
Everything seemed to be going well during the installation process until I hit a wall. I'm stuck at the following lines:
"Waiting for DSMOS...
ALF, old data swfspidentry <ptr>, update rulesmsg <ptr>, updaterulesstate <ptr>"
I've been stuck here for a while, and don’t know how to proceed. Has anyone encountered this issue before, or does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looking to buy a Surface Pro to Hackintosh
Right now I'm looking at a few used Surface Pro 4s on eBay for really cheap. Specs are 8GB RAM & i5 6300-U. If I were to purchase one I would more than likely Hackintosh it to Sonoma. Anyone know what performance is like with these models? I'm wondering if I should shell out a little more money to get the Pro 7.

No USB-C video out on Surface Book 3, please advise
Hi everyone,
I have SB3 15" with 1065G7 and RTX Quadro 3000. I'm having a good progress with my Hackintosh, and now trying to fix external display output (which works under Windows).
The device is very similar to Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3; every success post of these mentions that USB-C video out works as expected. Unlike these two devices, this one has dGPU, which is being disabled for macOS by BigSurface kext + SSDT.

Reboot After entering recovery mode
Hi, I'm trying to install macOS Sonoma on my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55, Here are the specs:
-CPU: Intel core I7 10700H
-CPU: Nvidia GTX 1650Ti(disabled)
-iGPU: Intel UHD Graphics
So, when I boot into the recovery to install macOS, it just reboots, I think it is a kernel panic but I don't have any logs in the USB root

Hello, I'm currently trying to install macOS Sonoma on my Lenovo Yoga laptop and I'm getting a prohibited mac icon on boot. This would lead me to believe that this is an SMBIOS issue but i generated it using SMBIOS, getting the Macbook model number from the Dortania Guide. The SMBIOS i am using is MacBookAir9,2. hi just created my first hackintoch and my gpu is being recognised as display 32MB I have an and rx 7800xt and an i9-9900k the cpu is recognised and the gpu is recognised in Hackintool but the Mac isn't recognising it since its very slow I'm on Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1 please help and the wallpaper isn't being rendered

I’m new to this topic of hackintosh and I’m quite interested on having one, is my idea posible?
My plan is to make two partitions of my ssd, since it’s 1TB in planning to partition it into 500 and 500
Why this? Because I planned to make a dual boot with windows and Mac OS.
I want windows for only gaming and Mac OS for simple tasks and I feel Mac it’s more effective in multitasking
My Laptoo components are:
I7 12700H
RTX 3070Ti Mobile
16Gb ram
1TB SSD
I read that Apple didn’t release drivers for the nvidia rtx 30 series. But I can still do a hackintosh with the integrated graphics
But I’m not really that informed about the topic and I want to read suggestions

Pre-made EFIs hate
Okay, time to get downvoted, but whatever.
So I've noticed that under every single fncking pre-made efi question post I see, make your own EFI.
I get that mostly people don't even try to fix their problem, I have no problem there, though would be nice to at least point to the potential fix in the guide, and then let the OP do his own research to avoid the problem in future while making his own bloody EFI.
But there are people who do use pre-made EFIs, and when the issue arises, the do research, try to fix on their own, and only later if they didn't succeed, they ask for help, the for fuck sake, help the man. At least point to the possible fix, why tf do you people repeatedly comment "mAke yOUr owN EfI".
By the way, if you do want to oblige with the rules, Rule 9 says nothing about asking or helping with the pre-made EFI. Just distribution of it on the sub for somebody to use it.
I also do not understand why would 2 laptops with the same specs be incompatible with the same EFI. Laptop manufacturers are too damn lazy pieces of shit to make every device in model line distinguish, sometimes even different models from the same vendor are well compatible.
I used SSDTs and USBMap, as well as good chunk of config.plist, am I sinful now, huh?
Reconsider your ideology people, otherwise you're just elitists.
By the way, I happily use T490s with Ventura, SSDTs, USBMap, good chunk of config.plist. works like a charm. I update the opencore, the kexts, the config.plist, everything is fine.

Opencore run from USB created with vanilla guide keeps getting stuck
This is my third attempt having gone through the Dortania guide, and I just can't get it to work. I'm attempting to install Monterey, with SMBIOS iMac17,1, with a Skylake CPU. I've updated my BIOS to the latest available version.
I've never reached a screen past the plain text on a black background yet. I really have no idea if I'm doing something wrong or if I'm just unlucky and something weird is happening.
Here is my hardware:
CPU: Intel(r) Core(TM) i-5-6600K CPU @ 3.50.GHz
GPU: SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 580 8G G5
Motherboard: Asrock Z170 Pro4S
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series (Intel XMP) DDR4 RAM 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MT/s
SSD: TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan Z 2.5" SATA 1TB Internal
Ethernet: Intel Ethernet Connection I219-V

I'm not entirely sure if I've set up the PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) properly (wasn't really sure what values to put in and if I even constructed it correctly), but it gets stuck even if I don't include it in my config at all. Here is an image of it in ProperTree:
