Lenovo Thinkpad T480 Sequoia Beta Boots and *almost works!
Last night as of this post, I have gotten Sequoia to boot and run on my T480.
Main Issues:
Sleep doesn't work properly.
Weird flashing in certain applications, ex: FL-Studio
Touchpad is a little finicky.

Hackintosh DRM is not working
Hello, I was using MacPro7,1 smbios, but today I changed smbios to iMacPro1,1. But the DRM didn't work, so I switched back to MacPro7,1, but the DRM still didn't work.
Problems i am having:
- Dolby atmos doesn't work with Apple music
- Can't stream downloaded apple music
- Can't watch Netflix with safari
My pc's specs:
- Intel Core i7 4790K
- Intel HD 4600
- MacPro7,1 SMBIOS
Everything worked before I fixed the smbios. Is there any way to solve this?

Successful upgrade to Sonoma

After successfully installing Big Sur on a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 earlier today, I decided to upgrade to Sonoma 14.6.1. It works exactly as before, just a newer version of macOS. I also tried hooking up an external monitor and I am happy to report it works perfectly!

Can't run macOS Installer, even though it seems like I did everything right
Hey! I tried to install macOS 14 Sonoma on my PC multiple times. All of them were unsuccessful. I have tried ways through downloading a raw image from Oralila, and tried to do everything form scratch using the OpenCore guide.
The entire process has been done using:
Windows 10, Desktop
Ivy Bridge i7 3770K
NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti
Z77 Chipset Model
If I used the Oralila, then I could boot into the installer, but nothing (mouse/keyboard) would work. It would just show on the screen a mouse and a keyboard, asking to turn them on. Using the method, where I did everything by myself, I couldn't even run the installer. It would stop and repeat [AHCI][PRT][00170050] AbortCommands::5382:Port 0 - called, deviceWithError 0, errCode = 0xe0030005 . With Oralila I would get the same error, but there it at least runs after a short amount of time, even though there are far more errors, i just couldn't catch them (and I also don't like them).
Here are my files regarding Oralila method. But I did change some kext to fit my PC better, but I also has updated the config.plist.
I don't have EFI for the method using the Open Core Guide, but I remember the file I was using:
ACPI had:
SSDT-IMAI.aml
I don't need SSDT-EC because it is already natively supported
Drivers:
HfsPlus.efi
OpenRuntime.efi
ResetNvramEntry.efi
Kexts:
lilu
VirtualSMC & SMCProcessor.kext & SMCSuperIO.kext

USBToolBox
USBMap (yes, I mapped my USBs from the beginning, and made false `XhciPortLimit`\)*

VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID.kext
And every time I did a change with kexts or drivers or ACPI, for both methods, I would change my config.plist. And I changed my BIOS' settings also, all the options I could change.
And in my OpenCore plist I had put that is was iMac19,1. Have generated Serial, Board and bla-bla-bla using the program GenSMBIOS. But I didn't change anything in the Oralila method.
What am I doing wrong? I can't understand, why nothing works... Please, help!

Anyways I really didn't mean anything towards you mods I know you have daily jobs and committing towards a dying niche isn't really worth it but I just felt saddened, I really hope you didn't feel offended
Really wish you can create an automod rule for anyone that asks about any sort of RTX card that would clear up 40% of the days posts, and maybe add something the mentions the guide in the automod reply and that prebuilt EFIs won't get help wether it's fully prebuilt of 20% and 80%

What is the best scaling for a 31.5 4K monitor? (bleeding eyes :( | videos editing)
Hi!
I work as a video editor on a mac studio and a 31.5 4k LG monitor. For six months I used 3840 x 2160 resolution but icons and everything is too tiny and after that, my eyes are already suffering badly.
Now I'm wondering what resolution to choose to make the most of the monitor's potential and protect my eyes.
1920 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440 (but here is alert about affect performance)? Or maybe something else. What is your experience?

Stuck at Apple logo
Opencore version: 1.01
So after a ‘successful’ install of macOS High Sierra, when I went to boot, it just got stuck on the Apple logo with an empty progress bar with voiceover in the background.

intel uhd 630 ventura
First of all I'm a beginner, I am having a problem with ventura. my pc which is running on i5 9600k with msi pro-vh b360m only runs with vga, hdmi has no output and vga glitches at the login screen and only wont glitch if i unplug it and plug it again. I've searched a lot online and nothing seems to work. was wondering if there's someone out there that has installed ventura with uhd 630 and share their efi? last night i was sleepless.

I own a t490 thinkpad, with the i7 - 8565 CPU, and although I've seen 1-2 posts that hava hackintoshed it with Sonoma, I cannot find instructions anywhere, so any help on that?
I specifically care about Sonoma, due to wanting to use it for development
Plus, any recommendations about 12,5 inch thinkpad that could work, as a secondary, more portable option, for the above? (If any exist) Only reason I am asking specifically for thinkpads is cause I like them

What is the best laptop to convert to a mac?
im really new into hackintoshing and its impossible to buy a macbook in my country right now (the new macbook pro is 43.000 turkish liras and the minimum wage is 17-20k turkish liras so :P) can you help me buy a cheap but good laptop? i couldnt decide which laptop to buy since i have no knowledge about hackintoshing. I want to install macOS Sonoma or ventura if possible and I will use it for basic stuff (watching yt, surfing the web or playing some really basic games) also is ecosystem possible on a hackintosh? like can I bring my ipad to the side of the screen and bring the cursor there?

I successfully installed Big Sur 11.7.10 on a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 earlier today. Although macOS is installed, I still need to configure OpenCore a bit & upgrade to a newer version of macOS to actually use anything.

Everything works except Bluetooth, tried two USB BT dongles (CSR 5.0, Realtek 5.2) but didnt work, some people did make it work but idk how, gave up fixing it.
iServices work fine, facetime, iMessage and all.
Had booted Sequoia beta too, but wifi somehow wasn't working, so decided to stay at Sonoma forever in this specific machine! Everything works smooth except electron based apps (thanks to some reddit users for enlightening me)
