Fix laggy animations (patch performance) on Intel UHD 620 KabyLake-R
Hello. I've installed MacOS Ventura 13.6.7 on my Dell Latitude 7290
CPU - Intel Core i5-8250U
GPU - Intel UHD 620
I've tried using the recommended (spoofed) platform and device IDs (from the guide) but the animations are still laggy and visiting 3D intensive websites make the hole system lag.
I'm currently testing a intel xiris graphics configuration but the only config that I had more or less optimal performance was the Intel UHD 630 with 3GB memory.
Did anyone manage to patch an Intel UHD 620 with good performance?

USB Displaylink outputs images via the USB port on the hackintosh
Hello everyone, I just successfully installed hackintosh on my Lenovo L340 Gaming. The problem is that the HDMI port is connected to the dGPU (disconnected), so I can't output the image. I did some research and found a solution that uses Displaylink to export images. I don't know if there will be a delay or lag problem when using displaylink. I am using a FullHD 165Hz screen, will it support full 165Hz or only FullHD 60Hz?

Will HD 4350 Drivers work on macOS Sonoma?
I have recently had some success getting my 'Ryzentosh' working.
This is currently my gaming machine and I have an RTX 3080 Ti installed (I know this wont work), however I had an old HD 4350 512mb that I have in my machine which actually works in Windows.
I have seen some success online and in this forum (over 10 years ago now) with this GPU but they need to modify a similar driver or something?

Bootlooping during install
I need macOS 13.5 or higher for uploading an app to the appstore. I've tried different tutorials, with different OS images, with different EFIs, and have never gotten past the install phase. Can someone please tell me if my device is incompatible or if I'm just doing something wrong.
I'm using a Dell Optiplex 5070 Micro model D10U.
Intel i5-8500T, 6 core, integrated graphics.
8GB 2666MHz DDR4.
Also of note: all the usb ports are 3.0, there are no 2.0 ports. I've heard that can cause issues.

Stuck on Apple logo after verbose
I built an OpenCode setup for my ThinkPad L580 (Coffee Lake) but after verbose it just gets stuck on the apple logo with a blue and purple loading bar for some reason. I followed the dortania hackintosh guide.

Downgrading an iMac beyond the earliest supported version?
There’s some software that’ll only run on El Capitan or earlier that I would very much like to use, but my 2017 iMac (i5-7400, Radeon Pro 555, 8GB RAM, Fusion Drive) shipped with Sierra. Is it possible to do some magic and have an El Cap partition alongside my main system? Any help would be massively appreciated.

Sonoma won't recognize broadcom wifi card
I have a 6th gen X1 carbon and am using this as a base https://github.com/Rybo713/X1C6-macOS for my EFI config. I removed the intel wifi and bluetooth stuff from the config.plist and the card works just fine under ventura but it refuses to show up in sonoma. what the hell am i doing wrong?

The thing is that it's a really low-end machine and it has a dual-core AMD E2-9000e but I only found information about quad-core (and up) AMD Ryzen CPUs. Undiscovered heavy disk activity on Ventura...???
My Ventura install is thrashing the SATA SSD where it is installed. I have disabled Spotlight indexing, quit all background tasks... opened Activity Monitor, and the macOS boot drive seems to be constantly reading at 30-40 MB/sec. I wouldn't mind this if it were actually doing something, but Activity Monitor showed only archive.service using an appreciable amount of disk activity (about 14GB) and nothing at all of interest running or using any CPU.
I have temporarily switched back to Mojave, where my drive is perfectly quiet when idle.
Anyone have any ideas???

What's the latest MacOS that I can run with this machine? I'm trying to see if i can run my first hackintosh attempt. Specs Below
Hi! So it's my first time attempting a hackintosh build so I can use Logic Pro for music prod. I'm curious if I can run any of the new MacOS versions on my machine. I'm currently running a Win 11 installation and thinking of installing MacOS on a partition if it's found compatible.

6950 XT, Sonoma: Anyone using unfairgva=1 ? Used for fixing hardware DRM support on supported AMD GPUs
Hi, I am not using this boot arg, and from what I can tell hardware DRM works fine, but just curious if this is something we should use nonetheless?

After updating Lilu and related kexts and OC to v1.0.1, USB audio devices do not work?
Very strange. Updated my OpenCore and all the related Kexts to latest versions. Reboot. After this first reboot, all my USB audio devices (Tascam 208i, Creative E5) work.
After another shutdown/reboot, the devices no longer work.
I can get the E5 to work by uninstalling the driver package, reboot, reinstall and it will work for that first reboot. Subsequent boots do not work.
Any idea where to begin tourbleshooting?
(Monterey Backup works no problem)
This is affecting two systems. I feel like the answer is obvious I'm just dumb.
