What Works:
1. Wifi (using wifi and bluetooth in one adapter)
2. Sleep
3. Trackpad buttons and touch
What doesnt work:
1. Bluetooth (because of the wifi and bluetooth in one adapter, if someone knows the solution plase help)
2. Airdrop
3. SideCar (with and without cable for a unknown reason)

Trying to install Sonoma on an Optiplex 7070 Micro!
Hello everyone, looking for help!
I've been trying to install Sonoma on my Optiplex 7070 Micro (Core I5 7500T. 8gb, 128gb Sata SSD), but haven't been able to do it, I've tried going through the Dortania guide and couldn't get it to boot, then I tried using the Webleon EFI folder (https://github.com/webleon/Hackintosh-OptiPlex-7070-MFF), with a Monterey USB and it doesn't work, then I found another EFI by ahalolol (https://github.com/ahalolol/Hackintosh-OptiPlex-7070-MFF-), read through it and compared it with the Dortania guide and seems quite similar to the EFI I generated myself.
The problems,
Using my EFI (Sonoma) and the Webleon EFI (Monterey), I get to the apple boot icon, it loads a couple of seconds and then reboots.
Using ahalolol's EFI (Sonoma), it boots for longer and at some point, it just stops booting, I've left it there for over 15 minutes and nothing happens, I've gone through the log, but my limited OC experience has gotten me to a point where I don't know what else to do.
I created the USB on a Big Sur VM using the installer downloaded directly from the App store.
I'm attaching 1) my EFI folder (Includes recently generated SMBIOS), 2) the latest Log file and 3) a "screen cap" of the moment it froze.

Trackpad not working on BigSur (HP 14s CF0115TU Laptop)

My trackpad doesnt work after installing BigSur. Used the VoodooI2C, VoodooPS2, VoodooSMBus kext as well as the other kexts too. None of them work.
I have the XOSI SSDT and the patch has been added as well.
Nothing had worked till yet.
According to Device manager in windows I see my trackpad listed under I2C HID Devices and the driver under there is ELAN HID Class Filter Driver. So I'm pretty sure I have an I2C trackpad.
However the GPIO SSDT section in the opencore guide mentions to check for the GPIO Device through MaciASL but I did that and found no "Device (GPI0)" in my DSDT itself.
What am I doing wrong here and what should I do to get my trackpad working. Any help would be appreciated.
(P.S. the keyboard works fine with the voodooPS2Controller kext)

Is there any way to be sure that pre-made EFIs from GitHub are safe?
I am actually writing this off my Hackintoshed x390 (Used this EFI): https://github.com/mahronid/thinkpad-x390-hackintosh. I want to daily drive this machine. However, I feel kind of insecure when it comes to entering my personal data on this machine. I'm no cybersecurity expert, but is there a way such a pre-made EFI could be compromised?
Yes, I know it's better do make/build your own EFIs. I have done that in the past. Unfortunaly, it's too time consuming for me, and this pre-made EFi works flawlessly. Just wanted to be sure though

so i have been trying to dual boot my windows 10 pc with macos 14 and i have been using balenaEtcher to flash the raw file onto my usb drive and every time it says i need to format it to use it but i need to use it to chage the efi folder someone please help cause i have no idea what to do

What OS version would run the best? (HP EliteBook Folio 9470m)
I would like to ask for a recommendation for an OS version, I managed to get Sonoma running but it wasn't the smoothest thing in the world. It would be good if the version still had some supported programs.

• Processor: Intel i7-8650U
• RAM: 16GB
• Storage: 512GB SSD
The seller is asking for $240. I’m planning to use it as a secondary laptop primarily for watching series, browsing the web, and similar light tasks.

Can i dual or tri boot a hackintosh without using bootcamp like normal or are there steps to take because oclp?
I have a hackintosh, Monterrey using oclp, can i dual boot with win11 without doing it through mac os, just create a partition and install or do i need bootcamp? Could i also tri boot macos/win11/linux(probably mint, but linux in general) or will it turn the hackintosh into a nightmare? Its perfect so i dont want to ruin it. If it would mess things up could install different operating systems on an external drive and boot from them with a key combination? I have both m.2 and sata ports and woukd prefer leaving macos on the m.2 and anything else in a sata. I dont thing its important but it is an hp elitedesk usdt i5 4590s haswell. 16gig ram. I would like to condense my bedroom set up down to just one computer instead of three. 5 if you count the batocera and the one i use as a tv box lol

Lucid Link on Apple Silicon needs change to „reduced security“ (kexts - kernel extensions).
I would like to install Lucid Link on my Mac to try if it works for my team.
Upon installing it prompts me to change my security settings to „reduced security“ in order to install the kexts for Lucid.
Any experience with that? Is it safe? What to look out for? Why is it only possible with kexts?

I was trying to dual boot macOS Monterey with macOS Mojave on my Dell Inspiron 3521 have i3-3rd gen Ivy Brige and HD4000 Graphics.

Hackintosh on R5 5600 and RTX 4060
I have a successful boot and MacOS is running (no gpu acceleration of course, already know that parts not getting fixed.) However, I'm wondering just how little supported is my gpu, will it still properly cool itself and stuff? Is that controlled by os or the gpu itself? Thanks.

I need to know if there is an easy version of Mac OS that can run on VirtualBox for an Intel processor I have tried Big Sur that didn't really work I tried Ventura I couldn't get it going in my VirtualBox I got through the download but then it just started boot looping rapidly so I'm kinda giving up on Ventura if someone has a fix to get it running please let me know

Installer throws error at 12mins remaining STUCK
Been working on my Monterey build for a week, following Dortania's guide without any luck. I'm trying to figure out how to configure my KabyLake i7-7700 cpu FrameBuffer, stolenmem, device-id and just can't get it!
Can somebody take a look at my config and make it better or let me know where I've gone wrong?
I'm using the Dortania's Guide - Making USB in Windows, booting and downloading through the Mac UI Installer, which downloads for about an hour each try, and then cuts out at 12mins with "An Error Occurred Loading The Update"
