It was really an awesome experience installing Macintosh, because I have learned a lot on this journey (anyway I just started yesterday ;-)), Still its awesome
MY SPECS
AMD RYZEN 5 3500U + VEGA 8 GFX (iGPU)
When I tried "Sonoma" my ethernet was not working and I was not able to install it from the recovery so I tried venture and boom its working!!
* PROBLEM FACING NOW*
- Touchpad is not working (anyway I have external mouse) (If someone know the fix then it will be much appreciated)
- Wifi and Bluetooth is not working (I'm using ethernet now, I have TP-LINK wifi adapter too is there anyway to make it at least working ?
- Everything except this working!! :-)
Also forgot to mention this Apple Messages isn't working for me, it's getting logged out every time I tried to login.

Hi, I'm running my hackintosh using my TV screen. I used to use MonitorControl to change my pc screen brightness. But it can't change my TV volume. On windows, I can change it normally.
Now my question is, can we somehow add CEC capability to macOS, so that we can control our screen's speaker easily?

Hi, I'm having an issue with my Hackintosh. I boot from the USB and get to the "Install macOS 14 beta (Sonoma)" button, but then it automatically goes to a black screen with the 🚫 symbol and a link to support.apple.com/mac/startup. After that, it switches to another black screen with a line that says "OCB: StartImage Failed - Aborted." Then, it goes back to the "Install macOS Sonoma" screen, and if I click again, it loops back to the 🚫 screen.
I've tried multiple raw and ISO files of Sonoma, but the same thing happens with all of them, so I think it might be something related to the EFI. I'm using a 32GB USB 2.0, and I've tried it in all the ports, but the issue persists. Please help. it doesn't reach verbose mode.

Finally got Sequoia Beta 4 running on my main machine. Had some struggle to get OCLP to work, but after finding the latest nightly build, it ran smoothly. It's been pretty stable for the most part. From what I can tell, everything seems to be working as it was on Sonoma.

How to get macOS Sequoia Recovery Disk?
OpenCore's macrecovery tool can download recovery images for different macOS versions directly from Apple servers.
But, according to their documentation, the latest version that is listed is Sonoma.
Is there any way to get the recovery boot disk for macOS Sequoia beta now?

For the sake of getting this thing running ill explain exactly what happened. I installed a windows partition using bca. All was going well until the thing booted to windows. I realized i accidentally installed windows to my open core (mac os 14.5) drive. In a panic i erased the entire internal drive and attempted to reinstall Mac OS X. However no matter what ever method i try it fails. Ive used bootable installers (every fucking one between 10.7 and 10.13 (i know sierras broken😊)) and nada. I can boot into a linux live and i used gparted to get rid of any remaining windows partitions like the boot and whatnot. Still nothing. Its not a drive issue, ive tried multiple hard drives, usb sticks, ssds, still nothing. I zeroed the internal drive and partitioned it, nope. I know its not absolutely bricked cuz it boots to other oses, just not the mac os installer. Any help would work wonders as schools starting soon and i dont feel like buying a laptop.

Question about time machine
So i want to backup all the data on my hackintosh install (just in case i do something stupid and delete the whole ssd again) using time machine, i seen some posts that say use carbon cloner or superduper but will timemachine still work? since i already have a time machine backup on my second SSD and i also want to use the second ssd for normal file usage too (such as some apps or mac os installers on there, so basically a panic disk as i call it for when i have to reinstall a system, i have a buncha windows isos on there too) so i dont want to make the entire ssd dedicated to my mac os backup, so will time machine work like ona real mac (like lets say im moving to a new mac then its something like backup from old mac and then restore from new mac on the setup screen when it asks you for a backup) thanks!

AHCI Error when booting macOS Recovery Image
I've set up my macOS installer with OpenCore and built my EFI folder.
Previously, when I was trying to run a recovery image, I would get a prohibition mark.
I managed to bypass it with -nocompatcheck, but now when I try to get into the macOS recovery, I get these errors all over the screen:

MacOS installation stuck in kernel panics
Hi, newbie here. I want to install macOS Big Sur to my laptop. In booting and in macOS Recovery, no errors detected and it works normally, but, after installation finished and reboot, it stuck in kernel panic error: IOPlatformPanicAction -> IONVMeController and IOPlatformPanicAction -> AppleSMC. After force shutdown, the installed macOS is not detected by EFI due to the force shutdown (maybe). Is there anyway to fix this error? The picture of the kernel panic is included in the zip file.

I need some help
I have an old laptop which I want to do hackintosh, I plan to install OSX 10.4 up to 10.6 but I have problems with the installation since I install via USB because I do not have DVDs to install it and I get constant errors when I start the Installation, so screwed up that it doesn't go beyond the apple startup screen to start the installation, I think it's one more error of the ISO that I use than I use from my PC, also my USB has Ventoy installed (I say this just in case), what I ask is that they help me how to install hackintosh 10.4-10.6 via USB

Can somebody help me with my hackentosh configuration?
I am new to the hackentosh group, and I got my HP ProBook G2 450 to boot monteray (I3 4005U, 6GB ram, 240GB Ssd), but I dont have any sound, blutooth or wireless drivers. I am able to connect the ethernet cable or a iPhone with a usb to get internet but all the things mentioned above need some drivers. I am familiar with installing drivers on Windows but I have no idea what to do on MacOS. I got the clover app and I have no idea how to use it... Can somebody help?

Why OpenCore isn't listing macOS Sonoma recovery boot?
I'm trying to install macOS Sonoma on my PC using OpenCore. I've followed the guides in the official documentation. OpenCore boots successfully, but can't recognize the recovery boot option (it shows windows btw).
I also tried downloading a pre-built EFI folder for my PC (HP ProDesk 600 SFF), they start up too, but can't show the recovery boot.
I've downloaded the 2 dmg and chunklist files and put them inside the root/com.apple.recovery.boot

Getting a supported wifi card for my laptop
I want to install macos on my laptop, but the current wifi card is unsupported. The current wifi card is a BCM4313. The port the wifi card goes in is half sized mini pcie. This laptop shouldn't have any trouble with the new card, it doesn't require a certain wifi card to post. I found some good intel cards, but i want continuity. I could find cards with a supported BCM94352HMB card, but none of them had any reviews and it looked sketchy. I did find a AR9287 wifi card with good reviews. It is supported on High Sierra and below. I already will patch the graphics with oclp and I think you can patch wifi cards with oclp too. But I am unsure how.
Questions:
Do I need any special kexts to patch the wifi card?
Do I just use the kexts for high sierra?
Can I even patch the wifi card at all?
Are there any better options on amazon that I just can't find?
What continuity features do I get with itwlm.kext or AirPortitwlm.kext?

Issue: So far, it takes 20 minutes to get past the loading then I get stuck on the mouse and keyboard animation. The one where it asks you to connect to a bluetooth apple mouse and keyboard.
- External mouse works, external keyboard seems to work (based on lights turning on)
- Internal touchpad and keyboard WORK, during the booting into setup I accidently pressed the brightness key and it showed an error so it was working, the lights work too. Not sure if its working in the setup.
BUT STILL I AM STUCK ON THE MOUSE AND KEYBOARD ANIMATION!
How can I fix this? Please help this is my first time. I provided all the information I have so far.
