Running MAC OS on VM
Folks I am really new to running macos in a VM. Before I attempt to try it wanted to know if it's even possible. I have Asus Zephyrus G14 with Ryzen 9 8945hs and RTX 4060. I was previously successful in running macos in 10th gen i7 in VM. Is my current setup possible to run macos in VM ?

Pcie Wifi for Sequoia?
Just got my first Hackintosh running successfully, with sequoia.
Now i am looking to buy a wifi/bt card to be able to use stuff like airdrop, copy from phone to mac and so on.
I saw that the fenvi fv-hb1200 (BCM94360CS2) should just work in previus macOS Versions, but cloud not find anything specific for Sequoia.
Does the fenvi fv-hb1200 work for Sequoia?
or
What pcie wifi card should i buy for Sequoia?
and
Does it work just plug an play or do i need a kext or some other fix for it?

Very new to hackintosh. Please recommend a place to start
Hello,
I have a Dell XPS 13 7390 with I7 10510u, 16GB ram, 512gb NVME. Currenly have windows and Linux mint installed. I want to hackintosh it and hopefully dual boot with Linux Mint. I currently have a macbook air m1 with 16gb ram as well.
Reason why I want to hackintosh it is because I am trying to downsize because I just also bought a 2024 Rog Zephyrus G14 with an RTX 4070, 8945HS and 32gb ram. So I am looking to sell the Macbook Air M1 and keep the dell as a hackintosh machine. Only reason why I need mac os is I am building an app with Flutter and I need macos to deploy IOS apps. Also, I want linux dual boot as a possible eGPU solution for Machine Learning in the future (or maybe use the new G14 if it's good enough for ML).
Ideally, I want to at least install a hackintosh on the dell and see how it performs, if it's serviceable enough to deploy IOS apps. If it is, then I have a buyer for the M1. If it's too sluggish and whatnot, then I would probably just sell the dell and keep the M1 so that I have macos. I do love the form factor of the XPS 13 over the M1 so hopefully it's serviceable enough. I realize that it might not compare to the M1, especially the battery life. I don't plan to do anything heavy, except for Xcode and VS Code with the Hackintosh.
I did some research and seems like a good place to start is the OpenCore install guide and this github repo for a similar XPS 13 but the repo is for 10710u and I have the 10510u. Both links below:

Hello everyone, I would like to ask for your help.
I would like to create a hackintosh starting from my old PC (Asus P9X79 Pro SandyBridgeE motherboard and HexaCore Intel Core i7-3930K CPU - SSE v.4.2 AVX (I think so version 1) - PCI 3). Currently I have a GeForce Nvidia GTX480 GPU.
Which AMD GPU (used) should I buy to drive 1 UHD monitor and, if possible, two FullHD monitors (I have a third 22" FullHD that I use as a portable monitor, but I think I'd need a second GPU) and have the latest version of OSX?
I don't know if I can keep the GTX480 with opencore in the latest versions of OSX.
I think it's not worth buying a PCI 4 GPU, but in two years (2026) I would like to upgrade the computer with a new motherboard/CPU/RAM. Eventually, I could keep the one I'm buying now as a second graphics card or sell it with all the old components.
I read somewhere that starting from a certain generation AMD GPUs need AVX2 (or something like that) to drive 4K (let alone the fourth monitor), but I can't find that website anymore.

Browser recommendation
Ever since I have started hackintoshing on my Dell Inspiron 13 5378, chromium-based browsers have always been quite slow and laggy. Today I have found a browser which I believe is based on Apple's WebKit. It is called Orion, so if your browser is slow try this one out. I dont know if it is just my laptop but there has been a massive and noticeable peformance increase when switching.

Best hackintosh for iOS development?
I have very low interest in actually buying a macbook since I don't like the price tags, bad gaming, and hate the mac desktop environment with a passion--would rather use linux.
I would like to do more app development so was thinking maybe a hackintosh would be good. Has to run the simulators well and make more money sense than a macbook. Also concerned about non M chips no longer working for hackintosh one day but whatever
Anyone have any recommendations? Open to desktops but I think a laptop would be preferable.

Dragging works like crap on hackintosh. Any fix?
When I drag with Trackpad any item, it should "undrag" when Trackpad is no longer pressed. But with Voodool2c, it doesn't work that way; probably some quirk to make it work on low-end laptops. Mine basically has almost the same as on the genuine Mac, so it's really, really annoying. Is there any way to fix it, like in Kext Info plist? I'm a chess bullet player, so it really matters to me.

My Problem
So everytime I boot from the flash drive (very slow USB 2.0 Lexar drive) it gives me this error. I tried booting it from the SSD with the same error. Also I'm concerned about that ACPI Error on top I don't know what that means or if it's nesscary to fix it

BIOS settings for Yosemite
Long story short, I've already made a post about this computer, so I want to ask you something about this computer in the BIOS. Okay, half of the things are either renamed differently, or what I was telling to turn on by chatgpt just doesn't exist. Also, there is no efi on this computer. I don't know what to turn on, what to turn off, so help guys, because I don't know anything about it at all.
Bios 1985-2005 and is called CMOS (MSI)
P.S. If I leave a screenshot, the post will be deleted automatically. In short, just after startup, where the apple should appear, the apple did not appear and it reboots the computer, can't install the system. CD-Rom and thing that running Floppy is in my pc. IF YOSEMITE WON'T WORK ON MY COMPUTER, RECOMMEND ANOTHER MacOS (Not lower than Maverick)

Best 400 AUD (or under) laptop for hackintoshing
Title says it all, have been using other laptops to hackintosh, which are now in use (except for one which is kinda on life support) and am looking for a good laptop to hackintosh with full functionality (wifi, audio, microphone, touchpad etc.). Should I go through with a hackintosh or go with a used macbook (which are dirt cheap in Australia) and give it the OpenCore Legacy Patcher treatment?

How to remove "BOOT MISMATCH!" message before picker?
Hello, I'm pretty new to this but I (somehow) managed to get macOS Sierra working on my i3-380M 8GB 128GB SSD with only Legacy boot laptop. My question is how can I remove the "BOOT MISMATCH!" message before the OpenCore picker shows up. Everything works great besides that message, it sometimes annoy me, and affect the boot time because it means "Bootstrap partition signature identification failed" and takes 3 second to look up "EFI/OC/OpenCore.efi" on any partition. I've done some research on my own and I haven't found any useful information, most of them have the error message come with other messages that helps them fix it, but mine is just "BOOT MISMATCH!" then continue. I really appreciate any help with this.

Hackintosh I GPU clockrate issue
My hackintosh which is running a i7 10510u with a uhd 620 can't seem to have the clockrate go above 300MHz even when being stressed. I have tried the -igfxfw=2, igfxrpsc=1 boot args to no avail. The log reports a success when loading the guc firmware however it shows up as kbl instead of Cfl I have also tried wegtree=1 but it also does not work
Can anyone help?

Mavericks works fine with GPU acceleration on bare metal, does not work on Proxmox, Dell Optiplex 7010 MT

I'm not sure whether to post this in r/hackintosh or r/Proxmox, so apologies in advance if this is the wrong place for this question.
I have a Dell Optiplex 7010 MT with

I followed the guide on dortania.github.io and ended up with a very simple EFI setup in a USB stick. If I just boot the machine from the USB stick, Mavericks installer boots successfully with proper GPU acceleration.
However, I have been trying to boot the very same USB stick on Proxmox with GPU passthrough without success. If I do not passthrough the GPU, Mavericks boots fine. If I enable GPU passthrough, the GPU seems to be activated since the monitor turns on, but the image is either garbage or just black. It doesn't matter if I have x-vga=1 or not.

Wifi/Ethernet not working on new hackintosh
Hi, im pretty new to the community and just hackintoshed my old notebook i had laying around.
HP notebook 15-ay134ne (specs can be searched up, but if needed, i will provide)
I installed MacOS Ventura and everything was fine until it came to the internet part. In WIFI settings, the button to turn it on is grayed out, and when i try to open the network tab, it is just BLANK.
I'm new to hackintoshing and this stuff in general, so im sorry if this is a common issue and im just dum.
For WIFI - Realtek 802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth® 4.0 combo (Miracast compatible)
For Ethernet - It just says "Integrated 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet LAN"
