Can't get gpu spoofing to work on radeon RX6650-XT
I am new to hackintoshing. I have tried to do it following the GUIDE but my GPU still shows up (in settings -> general -> about) as the correct name (because I changed it in config.plist in device properties) but only has 7mb of VRAM (supposed to have 8GB) and it runs really slow. If anyone can help me fix this it would be much appreciated.

- 512GB SATA ssd - MacOS install
- Windows 11 on my 256GB m.2 PCie ssd

External SSD hard drive is not mounting
Hi, I hope this is the right place to seek help with an issue I'm experiencing (if not, please direct me). I have a SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable SSD that I've used with my Mac Mini without problems for over eight months. However, today it didn't appear in the sidebar of my Finder window. When I checked Disk Utility, it was there but greyed out. I tried clicking "Mount," but nothing happened.
I followed a few YouTube tutorials that suggested using the Terminal, but I haven't had any success. When I tried a command, I received the message, "A GUID Partition Table (GPT) partitioning scheme is required."
I don't know what this means, and I'm not very familiar with these technical aspects. I would greatly appreciate any help!

Help with Bluetooth and Maybe wifi? Thinkpad T490
This is my first hackintosh build. After a few hours of trial and error I finally have most of everything set up and good to go besides two things,
- Wifi works well but iMessage/Facetime does not work unless I am using a VPN. I have tried the Itwan and heliport but every time I tried it, Heliport says "itlwan is not running" I check the status and it looks loaded.
- Bluetooth does not work at all, I have tried a few kexts I have found but none of them seem to be helping.
Outside of this everything works very well. Any ideas what I may need to do to get these two things working? I can post what ever specs, configs or info you need.

Can i use hackintosh with BOTH uefi and legacy BIOS?
Title says it, i want to install Windows 7 on another drive but it needs legacy boot enabled, yes i know i can run it with UEFI too but legacy seems the most stable for Win 7, so can opencore run both uefi and legacy? Sorry if it says it in the guide, if it does please tell me (you can downvote this post if it is!)
also im currently using UEFI with ventura and windows 10 on both seprate drives

Stuck at apple logo
Hi everybody I tried to make my own EFI, I booted into usb, chose the dmg. Then a screen of texts appeared then disappeared. Apple logo came. It took long for the progress bar to go half way but stuck there till morning. What should be the problem? I followed Opencore online installer. Thank you

macOS Ventura, Big Sur, Monterey doesn’t detect disks
i’m trying to install macOS Ventura in my Acer Nitro 5 and when booting in OpenCore it gives me the error watchdog value is 0 but still boots up in the disk selector from macOS, and when selecting the USB to install the OS and open disk management i only see the USB drive but nothing else.

Hey there r/hackintosh community, so i have a quick question, currently i have my hackintosh running smoothly on UEFI but i want to enable legacy support for a older operating system i want to install on another disk, so how can i switch from UEFI to Legacy, will i still be able to boot on UEFI? and can i keep the uefi drivers?

AMD Laptop stuck at AppleCredentialsManager during boot
Hi mates, ive recently got out an old Lenovo Ideapad S145 with an A6-9225 Radeon R4 Graphics, I was using NootedRed.kext so that it would work, however on boot it just gets stuck on a specific line, have tried all possible solutions to no success.. In the OC log it shows the EXITBS:START error at the last line

How safe is macOS with OpenCore (and OCLP) on Hackintosh?
After a week of tinkering with the opencore guide and my notebook, I was able to create a fully working hackintosh, it runs Monterey using opencore (Intel Haswell cpu+igpu, disabled Nvidia 740M) and Sonoma using OCLP. I think macOS fits better than Windows in my workflow but I keep asking myself if my pc is secure enough to trust using my personal and university accounts (Google, Microsoft) on it and I can't find no precise info online. I know using personal apple ID without credit card is risky but does the fact that I use it to pay for apple music with gift cards put me on less ban risk situation?

Boots (Catalina installer) - Unable to install due to hdmi not working i5-10210u HP-15S DU1001TU
I have a HP 15S laptop, (i5-10210u, 8g ram, 256gb nvme) and the efi config i have has managed to boot after months of trying but does not work with hdmi. If anyone can help me configure/edit this to fix HDMI it will be very appreciated. Best way to connect a GPU to the system if directly slotting it into the PCIE slots isn't an option?
I'm dualbooting OSX Monterey & W10 from different drives. There's an RTX 3080 in the main PCIE slot, which as we all know isn't supported in OSX. So I wanted to add a second GPU (a GTX 780 I have lying around), so I can make use of hardware acceleration and actually run Logic Pro at above 3 FPS.
Yet I've ran into a problem. Because of motherboard connectors and a particularly hot-running NVME drive, I can't fit the GTX 780 in any of my other 2 PCIE x16 slots.
What would be the preferable, "hackintosh friendly" way to connect my GTX 780 to my PC, if putting it into one of my other PCIE slots directly isn't an option?
Should I be looking at PCIE riser cards, eGPU enclosures & thunderbolt expansion cards, or something completely else?

Install Mac OS and flash drive is just not there.
windows is well windows
New Volume is my 2nd drive
L Is a Linux partition and is a volume from new volume.
my usb is just not there

RAM: 8 GB, DDR3
Motherboard/Laptop Make and Model: HP Pavilion 15, HP Motherboard
Audio Codec: ALC282, ID: 3, Fixed with proper SSDT-HPET
Ethernet Card: Realtek 8139/810x Fast Ethernet (using Legacy RealtekRTL8100 Kext)
Wifi/BT Card: Intel Centrino N100 pulled from an Asus Notebook, the original is Realtek so no luck with that
Touchpad and touch display devices: Synaptic PS/2
BIOS revision: Latest from HP, updated with windows installed years ago
Which of the guides on the sidebar you used.
Everything Major expected to work seems to work.
Runs perfectly on Sonoma with OCLP Patches, also used with Monterey (last supported version) for a week
Next:
After updating to Sonoma a little symbol "unknown device" appears on top bar (red square), it would be nice to understand what that is (it wasn't there with Monterey as far as I can recall)
Customize mac info with my real pc model and image
Find a fix for card reader (just for the record)
Curious thing: touchpad is way better here on macOS than on Windows with original driver, is actually enjoyable to use

Is Micron 2200 any way compatible?
I have Acer Nitro 5 with Micron 2200 NVMe which isn't compatible. So i can only add new SSD and nothing more?
