Is a Hackintosh really viable for this computer?
Hi there, i am having certain troubles while trying to install macOS in this setup:
- Motherboard: Duex h61m-2 1155
- CPU: I5 3470 @ 3.2 GHz
- RAM: 8 Gb
- GPU: Radeon RX 470
My issues are basically that after the Catalina Recovery Tool reboots, the GPU just stops working and neither the Motherboard HDMI nor the VGA seems to output video and then after some time the PC shows this message:
"No O/S, press Ctrl-Alt-Del"
I have read that RX 470 is natively supported so it seems kinda weird and even strange that even after hours it seems that it hasn't done anything.
I will try to re-setup the EFI later but now i just wish somebody give me a direction on how to setup

Unsuccessful Ryzen 7950X3D hackintosh issues
For the past week I have been trying to put together a hackintosh for my system and I am having no luck. I have a Ryzen 9 7950X3D and for a GPU I am using an ASUS STRIX RX 580 (just for macOS. Windows I use my 3090 Ti). I've tried a lot of things to get it to work but I can't even boot into the installer (I'm trying to use Ventura). Every time I try to boot into the installer I get stuck here (the picture). If anyone is willing to help, I will gladly send a link to my current EFI if anyone wants to take a look. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have BCM94360NG. Is it better to upgrade to Sonoma or stay in Ventura?
I am on OC 0.9.6 with the latest Ventura. I don't need the latest features. I use my computer for audio production in logic, web and office tasks.
I know I will need OCLP to use my BCM94360. I just wanted to hear some experiences that their scenario is similar to mine.

Trying to update/install Clover 5037+Mojave to OC+Catalina - Loss of iGPU/Black Screen during OC Boot
As it says in the title: I've got a working Hack running 14.6 and Clover 5037 (Typing on it rn, actually), and I'm trying to move the install to OpenCore and Catalina (or higher - I also have a Big Sur installer prepped.) for software compatibility.
When booting from my Catalina USB, I get a decent way through the text output and then my monitor reports 'No Signal'. Computer still runs and the log (attached, alongside EFI partition filetree) isn't throwing up any errors I can notice at 1st glance.
Is this an NVRAM thing? Is there an issue with my trying to install 'over' an existing Hack? I did notice that after my 1st try, Clover booted up with the -v argument, which I've had disabled for literal years. If push comes to show I backed up my important files, but I'd prefer this be an 'Update' if at all possible.

Skylake iGPU Flickering Issues On Sonoma!

CPU:Intel i3-6100 (6th Gen SKYLAKE) RAM:4GB DDR3 STORAGE:WD 1TB HDD SATA TYPE III
GPU:Intel Graphics 530
So I Have Installed Sonoma On My Build But Had To Spoof SKYLAKE as KABYLAKE For The Graphics To Work As Skylake Support Has Dropped On macOS13.0+ So I Have Followed Spoofing Guide And Got Graphics Accerlation And All Working Just Fine But Couldn't Get Rid Of Flickering Issues In The Dynamic Lock Screen When The Animations Start To Move Or Any Graphical Video That Plays Youtube,Safari Everywhere! I Have Also Added AAPL,GfxYTile To The Config Plist But That Doesn't Seem To Work I Have Patched The Connectos Too (HDMI).I Have No Idea What To Do Please Help Thanks In Advance!

Building a hackintosh in 2024
Hi everyone !
I'm planning on building a pc that I would use as a hackintosh to boot both windows and macos. I need windows for fl studio(vsts compatibilty) and visual studio and macos for Xcode, video editing and the adobe creative suite.
I already now how to build a pc (and how to make it a hackintosh for the most part) but on the other hand I'm not so sure about the price of the parts whether they are decent for 2024 or not.
The parts are the following :

psu : CORSAIRE SF600 watt
ram : SODIM DDR4 64go

Hello community. I've got this available & old skylake i7 6700+16gbram+ssd itx build sitting somewhere around the house.
I would like to start coding with react native for IOS app development. But as you can imagine I dont want to get interrupted or lose progress because of the computer or the operating system.
So I wanted to ask you guys how reliable is the hackintosh in this regard. Can it be used reliably for work?
Otherwise I'm thinking to get a macbook air M1 or M2 but I'm really not keen spending extra money if hackintosh is going to work well enough.
