I need to move my entire mac os to new ssd and use it externally
As i said above .. my internal ssd causes heating issues and i am afraid that it'll destroy my nvme ssd
So purchased an 512 sata ssd
So i wish to move the entire mac os partition with same data from nvme ssd to my new 512 gb sata ssd
And also i need to boot it externally from external drive..
Anybody have any idea how to archive this? .
And also i am trying to move partition from within windows..

Dell optiplex 7080 i9 10900 Sierra 10.12 build
I've got Sierra installed on Dell optiplex 7080 i9 10900 using OC. The CPU is already spoofed correctly in config.plist
Now I need to spoof the igpu to one supported by Sierra (kaby lake) Also I need to spoof the dell OEM rx 640 (4gb) dGPU. I believe it is Baffin core (0x67ff)
I hope to do this one by one. IGPU first. Any suggestions?

Another macOS Mojave Issue (yay)
My Specs:
Laptop Make & Model: Toshiba Satellite E45-B4204
Camera: TOSHIBA Web Camera - HD
750 GB HDD
Intel Graphics 4400 HD
Intel i5-4210U CPU with 1.70 GHz (Haswell)
Ethernet: Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller
WLAN: Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 3160
macOS Version: macOs Mojave
I followed the Dortania guide to setup my macOS Mojave hackintosh.
After having this issue, I solved it by completely redoing the config.plist. This resolved both the "configuration requires vault but no vault provided" and "No schema for Quirks at 8 index, context <Patch>!
But the issue now is that it is outputting this:
IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm0x0
and it just stops there. I will be glad if someone could explain to me in detail on how to solve this issue.

Using an Intel N97
Hi all,
I currently have a 2011 Mac mini as a home office computer. 99% of my use is running my business on it, spreadsheets emails etc, nothing too taxing. I do use it to control some home things, Sonos sits across it and I have all the GUI’s for my NAS drives but again, nothing major.
I do however sync everything with iCloud and use it on a daily basis, plus Time Machine backups.
Fundamentally, I’d rather not spend the money on a new Mac mini and I was wondering if putting macOS on a small form PC like an intel N97 would work?
Safe to assume it would essentially act the same as my Mac for all intents and purposes?

OpenLinuxBoot.efi does not boot into Linux
I don't know if it's okay for me to post this question in this Subreddit but here goes. My Hackintosh is working wonderfully so far with my OpenCore at 1.0.0, Sonoma at 14.5 and with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Audio, Network and graphics working. The only strange part is trying to boot into Linux from OpenCore. I included the OpenLinuxBoot.efi and the ext4_x64.efi drivers in the proper /EFI/OC/Drivers directory and have them set in the config.plist file. I even got OpenCore to boot while secure boot is enabled by giving the OpenCore.efi files their signatures before putting them in the EFI directory.
When I choose the Linux option in OpenCore, the screen would change and prompt with:Failed to read directory \EFI\Boot\ - Invalid Parameter Could not read \EFI\: Invalid Parameter Error: could not find boot options: Invalid parameter start_image() returned Invalid parameter
What am I missing when I try to boot from Linux using the OpenLinuxBoot.efi? I am able to boot Linux directly from the UEFI of my motherboard settings but that's all I can get. I read the documentation from Dortania and with no avail.

Minecraft capped at 60hz while on desktop 144hz
Hey, I have a problem with minecraft on hackintosh that its capped on 60hz while im working on desktop it has 144hz. I tried changing fullscreen resolution and it only says that i have 60hz@24bits or something like that.

Stuck on progress bar after upgrade from Sonoma 14.0 to Sonoma 14.5
I upgraded from system settings and rebooted, however, now when I get to the stage where I'm normally at the login screen, I get stuck at a black screen with a white apple logo and progress bar.
Verbose mode does not work as it's separate to the normal boot screen.
My SMBIOS: iMac20,1 Intel Core i5-10500 @ 3.10 GHz
MOBO: B550M DS3H
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3DSecureBootModel is disabled
Any ideas?

Why partially successful ?
>AppleALC isn't working, tried every layout-id but got no sound at all. Newest version (1.9.1) is installed. Tried with both -alcbeta on and off, nothing.
For unknown reasons, About this mac shows Intel I5 as my CPU, even with RestrictEvents and CPU-Name.
If you have any suggestions about sound issue, I would like to hear them.

Stable hack, but all of a studden : Wake reason: RTC (Alarm)
it wont sleep, wakes up every 30 seconds?
wth? has been rock solid, nothing was changed hardware nor config.
any ideas?
